near_a and_o clear_a example_n in_o the_o commonwealth_n of_o holland_n but_o let_v we_o hear_v some_o other_o reason_n against_o this_o coercive_a power_n over_o man_n conscience_n mr._n colier_n a_o minister_n prove_v learned_o in_o his_o new_a book_n present_v to_o the_o parliament_n entitle_v the_o decision_n of_o the_o great_a point_n now_o in_o controversy_n about_o the_o interest_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o civil_a magistrate_n in_o the_o rule_n of_o government_n in_o this_o world_n that_o it_o be_v unlawful_a for_o the_o civil_a magistrate_n to_o pretend_v any_o right_n of_o church_n that_o the_o christian_n become_v master_n under_o christian_a emperor_n do_v not_o persecute_v the_o heathen_n by_o who_o themselves_o have_v be_v so_o cruel_o persecute_v but_o give_v and_o object_n as_o a_o heinous_a crime_n to_o the_o papal_a church_n that_o she_o pretend_v to_o infallibility_n which_o the_o reform_a church_n esteem_v only_o proper_a to_o jesus_n christ_n but_o persecute_v any_o man_n for_o his_o conscience_n unless_o we_o do_v not_o only_o know_v that_o he_o be_v in_o a_o error_n but_o also_o be_v infallible_o sure_a that_o we_o be_v bring_v he_o to_o a_o undoubted_a truth_n otherwise_o as_o it_o will_v be_v a_o less_o sin_n in_o a_o man_n to_o follow_v a_o error_n according_a to_o his_o conscience_n then_o to_o be_v drive_v into_o a_o error_n against_o his_o conscience_n so_o it_o will_v be_v better_o for_o we_o to_o let_v he_o alone_o in_o his_o error_n then_o to_o force_v he_o to_o we_o which_o we_o false_o ecteem_v truth_n and_o therefore_o if_o we_o force_v man_n to_o be_v of_o our_o religion_n we_o ought_v to_o be_v infallible_o sure_a of_o the_o truth_n of_o it_o and_o so_o in_o effect_n we_o proclaim_v ourselves_o to_o be_v infallible_a whereas_o god_n know_v we_o may_v be_v oftentimes_o in_o actual_a error_n and_o by_o our_o persecution_n force_v other_o into_o they_o as_o it_o can_v be_v deny_v by_o we_o but_o that_o the_o late_a bishop_n force_v both_o the_o papist_n and_o many_o protestant_n into_o error_n when_o they_o persecute_v they_o according_a to_o the_o strict_a law_n make_v by_o harry_n the_o 8._o queen_n elizabeth_z and_o their_o successor_n to_o take_v the_o oath_n of_o supremacy_n and_o to_o hear_v the_o book_n of_o common_a prayer_n both_o which_o we_o ourselves_o have_v abolish_v own_o may_v not_o be_v without_o all_o religion_n whereas_o we_o by_o our_o new_a oath_n of_o abjuration_n strive_v only_o to_o spoil_v the_o recusant_n of_o their_o own_o religion_n and_o as_o we_o have_v not_o one_o particular_a positve_n religion_n settle_v for_o undoubted_a truth_n among_o we_o so_o we_o propose_v not_o any_o one_o religion_n to_o the_o recusant_n to_o be_v follow_v by_o
