the_o french_a king_n declaration_n that_o the_o child_n of_o those_o of_o the_o pretend_a reform_a religion_n may_v change_v their_o religion_n at_o the_o age_n of_o seven_o year_n with_o a_o great_a success_n which_o it_o have_v please_v god_n to_o give_v to_o the_o spiritual_a excitation_n and_o the_o other_o reasonable_a mean_n which_o we_o have_v hitherto_o use_v for_o the_o conversion_n of_o our_o subject_n of_o the_o pretend_a reform_a religion_n do_v oblige_v we_o to_o second_v the_o motion_n which_o god_n have_v give_v to_o many_o of_o our_o say_a subject_n to_o acknowledge_v the_o error_n wherein_o they_o be_v bear_v we_o therefore_o have_v resolve_v to_o repeal_n some_o thing_n in_o our_o declaration_n of_o the_o first_o of_o february_n 1669._o by_o which_o the_o child_n of_o that_o religion_n be_v in_o some_o sort_n hinder_v to_o convert_v themselves_o to_o the_o catholic_n apostolic_a and_o roman_a religion_n after_o the_o age_n of_o seven_o year_n in_o which_o they_o be_v capable_a of_o reason_n and_o choice_n in_o a_o matter_n so_o important_a to_o they_o as_o be_v that_o of_o their_o salvation_n till_o the_o male_n be_v of_o the_o age_n of_o there_o be_v no_o such_o provision_n make_v and_o this_o be_v a_o thing_n of_o which_o it_o be_v necessary_a for_o we_o to_o take_v care_n for_o these_o reason_n and_o for_o other_o consideration_n move_v we_o thereunto_o we_o have_v say_v and_o declare_v and_o do_v say_v and_o declare_v by_o these_o present_v sign_v with_o our_o hand_n and_o it_o be_v our_o will_n and_o pleasure_n that_o our_o say_a subject_n of_o the_o pretend_a reform_a religion_n both_o male_n and_o female_n have_v attain_v to_o the_o age_n of_o seven_o year_n may_v lawful_o embrace_v the_o catholic_n apostolic_a and_o give_v any_o hindrance_n to_o it_o upon_o any_o pretence_n whatsoever_o and_o to_o that_o effect_n we_o repeal_v so_o much_o as_o concern_v this_o point_n in_o our_o say_a declaration_n of_o the_o first_o of_o february_n 1669._o beside_o we_o will_v that_o the_o say_v child_n that_o shall_v be_v convert_v after_o the_o age_n of_o seven_o year_n complete_a shall_v enjoy_v the_o effect_n of_o our_o declaration_n of_o the_o fourteen_o of_o october_n 1665._o and_o that_o according_a to_o it_o it_o shall_v be_v leave_v to_o their_o choice_n after_o their_o conversion_n either_o to_o return_v to_o live_v and_o be_v breed_v up_o in_o the_o same_o house_n with_o their_o father_n and_o mother_n or_o to_o go_v elsewhere_o and_o to_o demand_v of_o they_o a_o pension_n for_o their_o subsistence_n proportionable_o to_o their_o condition_n and_o ability_n which_o pension_n their_o say_a father_n and_o mother_n shall_v be_v bind_v to_o pay_v to_o their_o child_n quarterly_a and_o in_o case_n they_o shall_v refuse_v to_o do_v it_o our_o will_n be_v that_o they_o shall_v be_v compel_v to_o it_o by_o all_o due_a and_o reasonable_a way_n and_o we_o be_v inform_v that_o many_o of_o our_o subject_n of_o the_o say_v pretend_v reform_v religion_n have_v send_v their_o child_n to_o be_v breed_v in_o foreign_a country_n by_o which_o they_o may_v receive_v maxim_n contrary_a to_o the_o state_n and_o the_o fidelity_n which_o they_o owe_v we_o by_o their_o birth_n we_o do_v require_v they_o most_o express_o to_o recall_v they_o without_o delay_n under_o the_o follow_a pain_n that_o those_o who_o have_v estate_n in_o land_n shall_v forfeit_v their_o whole_a revenue_n during_o the_o first_o year_n and_o a_o moiety_n of_o their_o say_a revenue_n during_o all_o that_o time_n that_o they_o shall_v keep_v their_o child_n in_o foreign_a country_n and_o for_o those_o who_o have_v no_o estate_n in_o land_n they_o shall_v be_v oblige_v to_o recall_v their_o say_a child_n under_o the_o pain_n of_o a_o fine_a which_o shall_v be_v determine_v proportionable_o to_o their_o good_n and_o ability_n and_o they_o shall_v be_v oblige_v to_o make_v payment_n of_o their_o say_a revenue_n and_o fine_n every_o year_n till_o they_o have_v recall_v their_o child_n we_o prohibit_v our_o subject_n of_o the_o say_v pretend_v reform_v religion_n to_o send_v for_o the_o future_a
