by_o reason_n of_o the_o church_n which_o bear_v witness_n thereof_o but_o because_o of_o itself_o and_o his_o own_o credit_n the_o apostle_n yield_v testimony_n and_o bare_a witness_n of_o jesus_n christ_n 1.8_o john_n 15.17_o acts._n 1.8_o and_o who_o be_v he_o that_o will_v therefore_o say_v that_o jesus_n christ_n his_o authority_n do_v depend_v of_o the_o authority_n and_o judgement_n of_o a_o church_n wherefore_o it_o follow_v that_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o church_n be_v above_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n first_o and_o foremost_a i_o answer_v that_o the_o consequence_n of_o this_o argument_n be_v none_o at_o al._n for_o grant_v it_o that_o one_o thing_n be_v more_o ancient_a and_o old_a than_o another_o yet_o it_o follow_v not_o for_o all_o that_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v of_o great_a authority_n and_o credit_n otherwise_o we_o must_v infer_v that_o moses_n have_v more_o authority_n than_o jesus_n christ_n and_o the_o law_n more_o than_o the_o gospel_n second_o as_o touch_v the_o antecedent_n or_o former_a proposition_n i_o say_v that_o it_o be_v sophistical_a captious_a and_o full_a of_o deceit_n for_o albeit_o that_o in_o these_o first_o
