persuade_v themselves_o that_o they_o be_v not_o only_o subject_a to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n but_o also_o take_v this_o for_o a_o sure_a ground_n that_o god_n count_v that_o do_v to_o himself_o which_o be_v do_v with_o singleness_n to_o their_o master_n after_o the_o flesh_n let_v no_o servant_n therefore_o neither_o he_o nor_o she_o shake_v off_o their_o yoke_n of_o service_n unless_o it_o reward_n of_o good_a work_n to_o the_o overthrow_v of_o god_n truth_n touch_v free_a justification_n 9_o therefore_o i_o will_v brief_o declare_v how_o these_o and_o such_o like_a saieng_n be_v to_o be_v understand_v 14_o according_a to_o the_o analogy_n 19_o proportion_n 17._o and_o rule_v of_o faith_n first_o of_o all_o we_o must_v know_v that_o these_o and_o such_o like_a general_a promise_n 11._o be_v to_o be_v apply_v unto_o all_o man_n but_o not_o after_o one_o and_o the_o self_n same_o manner_n 12_o for_o there_o be_v two_o sort_n of_o man_n according_a to_o who_o diversity_n the_o application_n of_o the_o promise_n must_v be_v make_v for_o some_o be_v godly_a that_o be_v to_o say_v bear_v a_o new_a and_o the_o child_n of_o god_n othersome_a be_v ungodlie_a not_o bear_v a_o new_a and_o the_o child_n of_o wrath_n if_o thou_o will_v apply_v the_o saieng_n touch_v promise_n of_o reward_n to_o the_o latter_a sort_n of_o man_n thou_o prove_v nothing_o else_o thereby_o but_o that_o they_o remain_v the_o child_n of_o wrath_n under_o wrath_n for_o they_o be_v able_a to_o do_v nothing_o that_o can_v please_v god_n although_o their_o work_n hear_v a_o outward_a show_n of_o special_a holiness_n for_o this_o oracle_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n abide_v always_o sure_a and_o steadfast_a impossibile_fw-it est_fw-la placere_fw-la deo_fw-la sine_fw-la fide_fw-la it_o be_v unpossible_a to_o please_v god_n without_o faith_n 6._o so_o long_o therefore_o as_o man_n be_v void_a of_o faith_n they_o be_v like_o rot_a tree_n which_o can_v bear_v no_o fruit_n so_o that_o it_o may_v be_v conclude_v hereupon_o even_o by_o most_o manifest_a and_o sound_a proof_n that_o when_o god_n give_v the_o wicked_a the_o reward_n due_a to_o their_o work_n hell_n and_o damnation_n shall_v be_v their_o recompense_n but_o if_o thou_o will_v apply_v the_o promise_n of_o reward_n to_o the_o former_a sort_n of_o man_n to_o wit_n the_o child_n of_o god_n then_o must_v thou_o think_v upon_o these_o point_n in_o thy_o mind_n orderly_o first_o of_o all_o thou_o shall_v build_v upon_o this_o that_o the_o godly_a be_v deliver_v from_o the_o rigour_n of_o the_o law_n through_o christ_n as_o
