within_o this_o realm_n of_o england_n or_o the_o dominion_n of_o wales_n and_o town_n of_o berwick_n upon_o tweed_n unless_o he_o be_v first_o approve_v and_o thereunto_o license_v by_o the_o archbishop_n of_o the_o province_n or_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n or_o in_o case_n the_o see_v be_v void_a by_o the_o guardian_n of_o the_o spiritualty_n under_o his_o seal_n and_o shall_v in_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o same_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n or_o guardian_n read_v the_o nine_o and_o thirty_o article_n of_o religion_n mention_v in_o the_o statute_n of_o the_o thirteen_o year_n and_o by_o the_o say_a book_n appoint_v to_o be_v read_v for_o that_o time_n of_o the_o day_n and_o then_o and_o there_o public_o and_o open_o declare_v his_o assent_n unto_o and_o approbation_n of_o the_o say_a book_n and_o to_o the_o use_n of_o all_o the_o prayer_n rite_n and_o ceremony_n form_n and_o order_n therein_o contain_v and_o prescribe_v according_a to_o the_o form_n before_o appoint_v in_o this_o act_n and_o also_o shall_v upon_o the_o first_o lecture-day_n of_o every_o month_n afterward_o so_o long_o as_o he_o continue_v lecturer_n or_o preacher_n there_o at_o the_o place_n appoint_v for_o his_o say_a lecture_n or_o sermon_n before_o his_o say_a lecture_n or_o sermon_n open_o public_o and_o solemn_o read_v the_o common_a prayer_n and_o service_n in_o and_o by_o the_o say_a book_n appoint_v to_o be_v read_v for_o that_o time_n of_o the_o day_n at_o which_o the_o say_a lecture_n or_o sermon_n be_v to_o be_v preach_v and_o after_o such_o read_n thereof_o shall_v open_o and_o public_o before_o the_o congregation_n there_o assemble_v declare_v his_o unfeigned_a assent_n and_o consent_n unto_o and_o approbation_n of_o the_o say_a book_n and_o to_o the_o use_n say_v or_o any_o other_o church_n chappel_n or_o place_n of_o public_a worship_n until_o such_o time_n as_o he_o and_o they_o shall_v open_o public_o and_o solemn_o read_v the_o common_a prayer_n and_o service_n appoint_v by_o the_o say_a book_n and_o conform_v in_o all_o point_n to_o the_o thing_n therein_o appoint_v and_o prescribe_v according_a to_o the_o purport_n true_a intent_n and_o meaning_n of_o this_o act._n provide_v always_o that_o if_o the_o say_a sermon_n or_o lecture_n be_v to_o be_v preach_v or_o read_v in_o any_o cathedral_n or_o collegiate_n church_n or_o chappel_n it_o shall_v be_v sufficient_a for_o the_o say_a lecturer_n open_o at_o the_o time_n aforesaid_a to_o declare_v his_o assent_n and_o consent_n to_o all_o thing_n contain_v in_o the_o say_a book_n according_a to_o the_o form_n aforesaid_a and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o if_o any_o person_n who_o be_v by_o this_o act_n disable_v to_o preach_v any_o lecture_n or_o sermon_n shall_v during_o the_o time_n that_o he_o shall_v continue_v and_o remain_v so_o disable_v preach_v any_o sermon_n or_o lecture_n that_o then_o for_o every_o such_o offence_n the_o person_n and_o person_n so_o offend_v shall_v suffer_v three_o month_n imprisonment_n in_o the_o common_a goal_n without_o bail_n or_o mainprize_n and_o that_o any_o two_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n of_o any_o county_n of_o this_o kingdom_n and_o place_n aforesaid_a and_o the_o mayor_n or_o other_o chief_a magistrate_n of_o any_o city_n or_o town-corporate_a within_o the_o same_o upon_o certificate_n from_o the_o ordinary_a of_o the_o place_n make_v to_o he_o or_o they_o of_o the_o offence_n commit_v shall_v and_o be_v hereby_o require_v to_o commit_v the_o person_n or_o person_n for_o that_o time_n of_o the_o day_n shall_v be_v open_o public_o and_o solemn_o read_v by_o some_o priest_n or_o deacon_n in_o the_o church_n chappel_n or_o place_n of_o public_a worship_n where_o the_o say_a sermon_n or_o lecture_n be_v to_o be_v preach_v before_o such_o sermon_n or_o lecture_n be_v preach_v and_o that_o the_o lecturer_n then_o to_o preach_v shall_v be_v present_a at_o the_o read_n thereof_o provide_v nevertheless_o that_o this_o act_n shall_v not_o extend_v to_o the_o university-churche_n in_o the_o university_n of_o this_o realm_n or_o either_o of_o they_o when_o or_o at_o such_o time_n as_o any_o sermon_n or_o lecture_n be_v preach_v or_o read_v in_o the_o same_o church_n or_o any_o of_o they_o for_z or_o as_o the_o public_a university-sermon_n or_o lecture_n but_o that_o the_o same_o sermon_n and_o lecture_n may_v be_v preach_v or_o read_v in_o such_o sort_n and_o manner_n as_o the_o same_o have_v be_v heretofore_o preach_v or_o read_v this_o act_n or_o any_o thing_n herein_o contain_v to_o the_o contrary_a thereof_o in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o several_a good_a law_n and_o statute_n of_o this_o realm_n which_o have_v be_v former_o make_v and_o be_v now_o in_o force_n for_o the_o uniformity_n of_o prayer_n and_o administration_n of_o the_o sacrament_n within_o this_o realm_n of_o england_n and_o place_n aforesaid_a shall_v stand_v in_o full_a force_n and_o strength_n to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n whatsoever_o for_o the_o establish_n and_o royal_a progeny_n the_o name_n be_v alter_v and_o change_v from_o time_n to_o time_n and_o fit_v to_o the_o present_a occasion_n according_a to_o the_o direction_n of_o lawful_a authority_n provide_v the_o sacrament_n and_o other_o rite_n and_o ceremony_n of_o the_o church_n according_a to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n together_o with_o the_o psalter_n or_o psalm_n of_o david_n point_v as_o they_o be_v to_o be_v sing_v or_o say_v in_o church_n and_o the_o form_n and_o manner_n of_o make_v ordain_v and_o consecrate_v of_o bishop_n priest_n and_o deacon_n shall_v at_o the_o cost_n and_o charge_n of_o the_o parishioner_n of_o every_o parish-church_n and_o chappelry_n cathedral_n church_n college_n and_o hall_n be_v attain_v and_o get_v before_o the_o feast-day_n of_o the_o inquiry_n hear_v and_o determine_v of_o the_o offence_n aforesaid_a provide_v also_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o book_n concern_v the_o say_a service_n shall_v at_o the_o cost_n and_o charge_n of_o the_o parishioner_n of_o every_o parish_n and_o cathedral_n church_n be_v attain_v and_o get_v before_o the_o say_a feast_n of_o the_o nativity_n of_o saint_n john_n baptist_n next_o follow_v and_o that_o all_o such_o parish_n and_o cathedral_n church_n or_o other_o place_n where_o the_o say_v book_n shall_v be_v attain_v and_o get_v before_o the_o say_a feast_n of_o the_o nativity_n of_o s._n john_n baptist_n shall_v within_o three_o week_n next_o after_o the_o say_v book_n so_o attain_v and_o get_v use_v the_o say_a service_n and_o put_v the_o same_o in_o ure_n according_a to_o this_o act._n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o no_o person_n or_o person_n shall_v be_v at_o any_o time_n hereafter_o impeach_v or_o otherwise_o molest_v of_o or_o for_o any_o the_o offence_n above_o mention_v hereafter_o to_o be_v commit_v or_o do_v contrary_a to_o this_o act_n unless_o he_o or_o
