understandéth_n not_o if_o they_o be_v speak_v in_o the_o plain_n vulgar_a &_o english_a term_n therefore_o the_o church_n use_v at_o mass_n in_o her_o prayer_n &_o public_a service_n the_o latin_a tongue_n that_o i_o say_v the_o holy_a sacrament_n shall_v not_o grow_v into_o contempt_n be_v make_v common_a to_o every_o base_a rogne_n to_o descant_v upon_o think_v that_o it_o be_v sufficient_a the_o ignorant_a sort_n take_v the_o fruit_n thereof_o though_o they_o know_v not_o the_o mystery_n yet_o the_o church_n do_v not_o disallow_v any_o to_o pray_v any_o godly_a catholic_n prayer_n what_o he_o will_v yea_o the_o pater_fw-la noster_fw-la aue_fw-la &_o creed_n in_o the_o english_a tongue_n so_o he_o do_v it_o not_o in_o despite_n of_o the_o church_n condemn_v other_o that_o they_o do_v not_o well_o that_o pray_v in_o the_o latyn_a tongue_n yea_o though_o they_o understand_v it_o not_o for_o often_o time_n it_o may_v be_v that_o the_o poor_a plough_n man_n that_o say_v his_o pater_fw-la noster_fw-la not_o under_o stand_v the_o word_n may_v pray_v with_o more_o devotion_n &_o please_v god_n better_o than_o the_o great_a doctor_n that_o can_v make_v a_o sermon_n of_o every_o petition_n of_o the_o same_o for_o god_n in_o prayer_n do_v not_o so_o much_o attend_v to_o man_n word_n but_o to_o his_o will_n affection_n &_o lift_v up_o of_o man_n hart_n to_o god_n which_o be_v proper_o prayer_n nay_o what_o doctor_n be_v so_o learned_a when_o he_o read_v the_o psalm_n though_o he_o can_v english_a they_o never_o so_o well_o that_o understand_v they_o to_o the_o depth_n yea_o of_o some_o verse_n or_o sentence_n perhaps_o he_o know_v no_o one_o perfect_a sense_n &_o yet_o though_o he_o understand_v they_o not_o perfect_o he_o pray_v of_o they_o nevertheless_o know_v god_n understand_v they_o &_o his_o devout_a meaning_n therein_o as_o
