other_o church_n though_o perhaps_o very_o different_a from_o we_o and_o this_o for_o the_o sake_n of_o maintain_v one_o communion_n of_o christian_n every_o be_v but_o neither_o abroad_o nor_o at_o home_o can_v we_o purchase_v unity_n of_o communion_n at_o so_o dear_a a_o rate_n as_o to_o break_v god_n commandment_n for_o it_o we_o know_v it_o be_v a_o good_a thing_n for_o all_o the_o part_n of_o the_o church_n to_o have_v but_o one_o communion_n but_o we_o must_v not_o do_v evil_a that_o even_o this_o good_a may_v come_v and_o lest_o of_o all_o that_o evil_n which_o church_n communion_n and_o church_n authority_n be_v in_o great_a part_n design_v to_o prevent_v for_o as_o we_o believe_v that_o christ_n form_v his_o disciple_n into_o a_o spiritual_a society_n so_o we_o have_v great_a reason_n to_o conclude_v that_o one_o main_a end_n hereof_o be_v that_o by_o the_o communion_n of_o christian_n under_o their_o governor_n the_o holy_a truth_n and_o law_n of_o god_n concern_v his_o worship_n and_o our_o salvation_n may_v be_v more_o advantageous_o hold_v forth_o to_o the_o world_n and_o more_o effectual_o guard_v and_o maintain_v and_o therefore_o to_o keep_v this_o communion_n one_o as_o much_o as_o in_o we_o lie_v we_o will_v do_v any_o thing_n require_v by_o our_o superior_n that_o god_n have_v leave_v we_o free_a to_o do_v or_o not_o but_o to_o deny_v that_o holy_a truth_n or_o any_o part_n of_o it_o or_o to_o break_v any_o of_o those_o divine_a law_n for_o the_o sake_n of_o which_o this_o communion_n itself_o be_v institute_v neither_o of_o these_o thing_n dare_v we_o do_v to_o prevent_v division_n and_o separation_n and_o we_o be_v as_o sure_a that_o transubstantiation_n adoration_n of_o the_o host_n worship_v of_o image_n pray_v to_o the_o dead_a and_o pray_v in_o a_o unknown_a tongue_n be_v repugnant_a to_o several_a express_a text_n of_o scripture_n not_o to_o say_v to_o common_a sense_n and_o reason_n we_o be_v i_o say_v as_o sure_o that_o they_o be_v the_o plain_a law_n and_o truth_n of_o god_n to_o which_o these_o thing_n be_v contrary_a and_o withal_o that_o to_o guard_v these_o truth_n god_n institute_v a_o church_n and_o a_o communion_n of_o saint_n as_o we_o be_v that_o there_o be_v any_o such_o thing_n as_o a_o church_n institute_v or_o church_n communion_n require_v and_o true_o if_o separation_n when_o there_o be_v such_o cause_n for_o it_o as_o we_o pretend_v be_v not_o a_o necessary_a duty_n it_o may_v become_v the_o duty_n of_o christian_n to_o be_v unite_v in_o scandalous_a impiety_n and_o damnable_a error_n for_o other_o thing_n may_v be_v lawful_o communicate_v with_o although_o they_o be_v govern_v by_o bishop_n and_o because_o the_o civil_a authority_n concur_v with_o the_o ecclesiastical_a in_o the_o only_a church_n of_o christ_n institution_n and_o that_o every_o such_o church_n have_v full_a power_n in_o itself_o to_o order_v all_o thing_n relate_v to_o worship_n and_o discipline_n and_o gesture_n suppose_v they_o to_o be_v leave_v at_o liberty_n and_o that_o none_o who_o be_v to_o use_v they_o very_o judge_v they_o unlawful_a and_o he_o intimate_v more_o than_o once_o that_o thing_n not_o necessary_a c._n and_o ordinary_o use_v in_o idolatrous_a and_o superstitious_a service_n may_v not_o in_o their_o judgement_n be_v lawful_o use_v how_o well_o he_o have_v prove_v these_o position_n i_o be_o not_o concern_v to_o examine_v but_o leave_v he_o for_o that_o to_o his_o learned_a antagonist_n these_o observation_n be_v particular_a enough_o for_o my_o purpose_n which_o be_v to_o show_v the_o difference_n between_o the_o ground_n of_o our_o separation_n from_o the_o roman_a church_n and_o those_o of_o their_o separation_n from_o we_o who_o this_o gentleman_n defend_v 3._o there_o be_v those_o who_o for_o all_o this_o seem_v not_o to_o think_v our_o communion_n unlawful_a in_o itself_o since_o they_o can_v sometime_o communicate_v with_o we_o in_o our_o whole_a service_n but_o they_o judge_v the_o way_n of_o the_o separate_a meeting_n to_o be_v more_o perfect_a and_o a_o better_a mean_n of_o edification_n and_o the_o ground_n of_o their_o separation_n be_v this_o that_o it_o be_v unlawful_a to_o communicate_v ordinary_o in_o a_o more_o imperfect_a way_n of_o worship_n and_o enjoy_v the_o ordinance_n of_o the_o gospel_n where_o a_o better_a may_v be_v have_v 2._o i_o come_v now_o to_o the_o second_o point_n which_o be_v to_o compare_v the_o ground_n of_o separation_n on_o both_o side_n together_o that_o we_o may_v judge_v wherein_o they_o differ_v or_o how_o far_o they_o agree_v 1._o i_o do_v acknowledge_v that_o the_o most_o general_a ground_n of_o all_o be_v the_o same_o on_o both_o side_n or_o at_o least_o may_v be_v so_o that_o be_v that_o we_o separate_a from_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n in_o a_o full_a persuasion_n of_o conscience_n that_o so_o we_o ought_v to_o do_v and_o that_o the_o dissenter_n separate_a from_o the_o church_n of_o england_n with_o the_o like_a persuasion_n but_o how_o far_o this_o agreement_n make_v the_o case_n of_o separation_n the_o same_o on_o both_o side_n and_o whether_o it_o will_v equal_o justify_v the_o the_o church_n of_o england_n separate_n from_o rome_n and_o the_o dissenter_n separate_v from_o the_o church_n of_o england_n will_v be_v consider_v time_n enough_o after_o all_o the_o other_o reason_n be_v compare_v 2._o the_o next_o general_a reason_n on_o both_o side_n allege_v be_v that_o separation_n be_v necessary_a for_o great_a purity_n of_o worship_n and_o ordinance_n we_o for_o great_a purity_n separate_v from_o rome_n the_o dissenter_n for_o great_a purity_n separate_v from_o we_o now_o whether_o this_o may_v or_o may_v not_o reasonable_o be_v pretend_v by_o the_o be_v not_o the_o same_o plea_n offer_v to_o justify_v the_o separation_n in_o both_o case_n with_o respect_n to_o that_o authority_n by_o which_o the_o condition_n of_o communion_n be_v prescribe_v for_o we_o of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n do_v unanimous_o deny_v that_o the_o bishop_n of_o rome_n have_v any_o just_a authority_n to_o make_v rule_n for_o the_o communion_n or_o to_o prescribe_v law_n for_o the_o government_n of_o our_o church_n but_o all_o the_o dissenter_n do_v not_o question_v the_o lawfulness_n of_o that_o authority_n by_o which_o our_o liturgy_n be_v establish_v and_o those_o thing_n which_o they_o object_n against_o be_v require_v for_o those_o of_o the_o presbyterian_a persuasion_n among_o we_o however_o they_o dislike_v diocesan_n episcopacy_n yet_o seem_v not_o to_o insist_v upon_o it_o in_o their_o late_a write_n as_o a_o ground_n of_o separation_n from_o this_o church_n but_o if_o other_o thing_n be_v reform_v according_a to_o their_o mind_n
my_o present_a business_n i_o may_v appeal_v to_o all_o understand_a person_n who_o can_v judge_v of_o the_o learning_n use_v on_o both_o side_n whether_o that_o notion_n of_o a_o church_n or_o of_o church-communion_n be_v likely_a to_o be_v true_a which_o make_v it_o impossible_a for_o the_o particular_a church_n of_o a_o christian_a kingdom_n to_o be_v unite_v under_o the_o sovereign_a authority_n in_o the_o observation_n of_o the_o same_o rule_v advise_v upon_o and_o the_o same_o law_n make_v for_o the_o benefit_n of_o they_o all_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n i_o conclude_v this_o head_n with_o say_v that_o though_o the_o pope_n have_v no_o authority_n in_o this_o kingdom_n yet_o it_o follow_v not_o that_o every_o particular_a congregation_n must_v be_v independent_a and_o i_o challenge_v any_o man_n to_o take_v any_o one_o argument_n use_v by_o any_o of_o our_o church_n to_o prove_v the_o independency_n of_o our_o church_n upon_o the_o bishop_n of_o rome_n and_o make_v it_o hold_v to_o prove_v the_o independency_n of_o a_o congregation_n either_o upon_o a_o national_a or_o episcopal_n church_n if_o he_o can_v wherefore_o suppose_v the_o decree_n of_o the_o bishop_n of_o rome_n to_o be_v of_o no_o good_a authority_n among_o we_o and_o our_o own_o law_n in_o matter_n ecclesiastical_a to_o want_v no_o good_a authority_n the_o condition_n of_o communion_n be_v otherwise_o lawful_a on_o both_o side_n then_o the_o separation_n ensue_v upon_o our_o refusal_n to_o submit_v to_o those_o decree_n will_v not_o be_v schismatical_a on_o our_o part_n but_o the_o separation_n of_o our_o independent_o and_o all_o other_o among_o we_o refuse_v to_o submit_v to_o these_o law_n will_v be_v so_o on_o their_o part_n and_o thus_o much_o for_o the_o difference_n in_o point_n of_o authority_n 2._o we_o be_v to_o compare_v the_o case_n also_o with_o respect_n to_o the_o term_n of_o communion_n relate_v to_o matter_n of_o faith_n and_o worship_n and_o in_o the_o first_o place_n the_o dissenter_n acknowledge_v that_o the_o faith_n profess_v in_o this_o church_n be_v pure_a and_o entire_a and_o that_o she_o do_v not_o require_v the_o profession_n of_o any_o doctrine_n in_o order_n to_o her_o communion_n which_o a_o good_a christian_n have_v reason_n to_o suspect_v and_o this_o make_v a_o great_a difference_n between_o the_o term_n of_o communion_n with_o our_o church_n and_o the_o term_n thereof_o with_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n which_o require_v the_o profession_n of_o gross_a and_o palpable_a error_n of_o all_o who_o she_o admit_v to_o her_o communion_n but_o the_o great_a offence_n be_v take_v at_o our_o form_n of_o divine_a service_n and_o the_o ceremony_n thereunto_o belong_v and_o the_o offend_a party_n be_v of_o three_o sort_n 1._o those_o that_o do_v not_o direct_o charge_v any_o of_o our_o practice_n in_o worship_n as_o sinful_a but_o suppose_v some_o of_o they_o to_o be_v inexpedient_a and_o unedifying_a and_o they_o that_o separate_a upon_o this_o account_n must_v acknowledge_v this_o difference_n in_o the_o case_n that_o whereas_o we_o separate_v from_o rome_n forsake_v a_o unlawful_a communion_n for_o one_o that_o be_v lawful_a they_o separate_v from_o we_o forsake_v a_o lawful_a communion_n for_o one_o that_o they_o believe_v to_o be_v better_o and_o of_o these_o i_o shall_v take_v notice_n again_o in_o a_o fit_a place_n 2._o another_o sort_n be_v they_o who_o pretend_v something_o more_o that_o be_v that_o they_o scruple_n the_o lawfulness_n of_o the_o thing_n enjoin_v and_o that_o they_o ought_v not_o to_o communicate_v with_o we_o so_o long_o as_o they_o remain_v under_o these_o doubt_n and_o these_o man_n also_o must_v confess_v a_o great_a difference_n between_o the_o reason_n upon_o which_o they_o separate_a from_o we_o and_o that_o for_o which_o we_o separate_a from_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n since_o we_o be_v pass_v doubt_v in_o the_o case_n and_o positive_o affirm_v those_o condition_n of_o communion_n with_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n which_o we_o complain_v of_o to_o be_v in_o themselves_o unlawful_a and_o in_o consequence_n hereof_o they_o must_v not_o deny_v that_o there_o be_v a_o great_a difference_n also_o between_o those_o ground_n upon_o which_o they_o and_o we_o pretend_v against_o that_o church_n the_o unlawfulness_n of_o her_o imposition_n and_o those_o upon_o which_o they_o suspect_v the_o like_a of_o we_o and_o that_o be_v that_o the_o roman_a church_n be_v by_o we_o attack_v with_o clear_a and_o unquestionable_a evidence_n of_o reason_n and_o scripture_n against_o she_o but_o that_o it_o remain_v doubtful_a whether_o there_o be_v any_o good_a evidence_n in_o scripture_n against_o we_o concern_v which_o more_o will_v be_v say_v under_o the_o next_o head_n in_o the_o mean_a time_n it_o do_v by_o no_o mean_n follow_v that_o because_o separation_n be_v just_a and_o necessary_a where_o some_o thing_n be_v require_v to_o be_v do_v which_o we_o certain_o know_v god_n have_v forbid_v therefore_o it_o be_v just_a and_o necessary_a also_o where_o other_o thing_n be_v require_v concern_v which_o we_o do_v not_o know_v but_o they_o may_v be_v lawful_a 3._o the_o three_o sort_n be_v they_o that_o pretend_v these_o form_n of_o worship_n and_o ceremony_n which_o the_o former_a either_o scruple_n or_o judge_v only_o inexpedient_a to_o be_v indeed_o sinful_a and_o to_o render_v our_o communion_n not_o only_o suspect_v and_o less_o desirable_a but_o plain_o unlawful_a and_o i_o grant_v that_o these_o be_v the_o man_n who_o come_v up_o to_o the_o point_n and_o if_o they_o can_v but_o make_v good_a what_o they_o say_v they_o will_v show_v their_o separation_n from_o our_o church_n to_o be_v ground_v upon_o one_o general_n reason_n of_o our_o separation_n from_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n which_o will_v sufficient_o clear_v we_o from_o the_o imputation_n of_o schism_n if_o no_o other_o reason_n be_v to_o be_v give_v but_o i_o believe_v a_o very_a wide_a difference_n of_o the_o case_n will_v appear_v when_o we_o come_v to_o consider_v 1._o the_o particular_a practice_n themselves_o which_o be_v by_o we_o say_v to_o be_v unlawful_a in_o the_o communion_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n and_o those_o which_o by_o the_o dissenter_n be_v say_v to_o be_v unlawful_a in_o we_o and_o 2._o the_o way_n and_o mean_n by_o which_o we_o pretend_v to_o prove_v those_o and_o that_o by_o which_o they_o pretend_v to_o prove_v these_o unlawful_a 1._o let_v we_o consider_v the_o particular_n themselves_o the_o dissenter_n do_v with_o we_o condemn_v as_o unlawful_a prayer_n in_o a_o unknown_a tongue_n the_o adoration_n of_o the_o host_n worship_v the_o cross_n and_o the_o like_a practice_n of_o the_o roman_a church_n in_o her_o form_n of_o worship_n from_o which_o they_o acknowledge_v also_o that_o we_o have_v purge_v our_o communion_n but_o they_o say_v we_o have_v retain_v other_o practice_n something_a akin_a to_o these_o though_o not_o quite_o so_o bad_a for_o instance_n kneel_v at_o the_o communion_n wear_v the_o surplice_n sign_v with_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o cross_n and_o some_o of_o they_o add_v the_o public_a use_n of_o form_n of_o prayer_n now_o all_o that_o i_o design_n under_o this_o head_n in_o compare_v the_o former_a and_o the_o late_a particular_n together_o be_v to_o show_v that_o the_o unlawfulness_n of_o the_o former_a be_v suppose_v the_o unlawfulness_n of_o the_o latter_a can_v be_v from_o thence_o infer_v and_o that_o for_o this_o plain_a reason_n because_o the_o question_n concern_v the_o one_o and_o the_o other_o be_v perfect_o distinct_a from_o one_o another_o for_o as_o the_o bishop_n of_o rome_n have_v no_o authority_n here_o in_o england_n shall_v not_o hinder_v the_o authority_n which_o our_o bishop_n exercise_n in_o england_n from_o be_v lawful_a and_o good_a so_o to_o pray_v in_o a_o unknown_a tongue_n may_v be_v absurd_a and_o contrary_a to_o scripture_n but_o for_o all_o this_o form_n of_o prayer_n in_o a_o language_n understand_v by_o the_o whole_a congregation_n may_v not_o only_o be_v lawful_a but_o profitable_a and_o in_o most_o case_n necessary_a the_o adoration_n of_o the_o host_n may_v be_v a_o idolatrous_a practice_n yet_o to_o kneel_v in_o the_o act_n of_o receive_v the_o eucharist_n where_o such_o adoration_n be_v disclaim_v shall_v be_v no_o such_o practice_n we_o may_v sign_n the_o baptise_a insant_n with_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o cross_n and_o yet_o not_o worship_n that_o sign_n we_o may_v do_v the_o former_a in_o token_n of_o the_o obligation_n which_o baptism_n lay_v upon_o we_o without_o attribute_v any_o of_o that_o virtue_n or_o efficacy_n thereunto_o which_o make_v the_o popish_a use_n of_o it_o foolish_a and_o superstitious_a what_o practice_n be_v there_o in_o the_o roman_a church_n which_o we_o as_o unlawful_a have_v abandon_v from_o whence_o the_o unlawfulness_n of_o wear_v a_o surplice_n or_o see_v it_o wear_v can_v with_o any_o
colour_n of_o reason_n be_v draw_v in_o a_o word_n what_o erroneous_a doctrine_n in_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n or_o unlawful_a practice_n confess_v by_o the_o dissenter_n to_o be_v by_o we_o reject_v can_v be_v assign_v from_o which_o the_o unlawfulness_n of_o any_o of_o those_o thing_n except_v against_o in_o our_o liturgy_n can_v be_v infer_v let_v they_o take_v any_o one_o argument_n use_v by_o we_o to_o prove_v such_o or_o such_o a_o particular_a condition_n of_o communion_n unlawful_a which_o that_o church_n require_v and_o by_o that_o argument_n prove_v some_o condition_n unlawful_a in_o we_o if_o they_o can_v but_o perhaps_o they_o will_v say_v that_o if_o they_o can_v prove_v this_o by_o other_o argument_n the_o case_n in_o general_n will_v still_o be_v the_o same_o this_o i_o confess_v and_o therefore_o i_o proceed_v to_o the_o second_o point_n which_o be_v 2._o to_o show_v the_o difference_n between_o the_o way_n and_o mean_n by_o we_o use_v to_o prove_v those_o condition_n of_o the_o roman_a communion_n unlawful_a which_o we_o except_v against_o and_o the_o manner_n of_o argue_v use_v by_o the_o dissenter_n against_o we_o now_o our_o way_n be_v plain_a and_o direct_v for_o we_o prove_v those_o particular_n in_o the_o roman_a worship_n unlawful_a which_o we_o condemn_v by_o this_o argument_n that_o they_o be_v forbid_v in_o god_n word_n and_o this_o we_o prove_v by_o those_o express_a and_o particular_a place_n of_o holy_a scripture_n to_o which_o they_o be_v repugnant_a and_o if_o we_o fail_v not_o of_o produce_v such_o testimony_n against_o the_o corruption_n of_o that_o church_n we_o have_v the_o advantage_n against_o the_o papist_n and_o if_o the_o dissenter_n charge_v any_o condition_n of_o our_o communion_n with_o impose_v upon_o they_o however_o weesteem_v they_o but_o indifferent_a be_v by_o themselves_o judge_v unlawful_a diss_n thus_o the_o forementioned_a author_n say_v can_v they_o dissenter_n but_o look_n upon_o the_o form_n and_o rite_n of_o our_o worship_n under_o that_o notion_n all_o thing_n indifferent_a possible_o their_o contest_v will_v neither_o be_v great_a nor_o long_a 2._o i_o do_v not_o like_o these_o word_n for_o that_o which_o may_v be_v may_v not_o be_v and_o possible_o the_o contest_v will_v be_v great_a and_o long_o though_o they_o shall_v look_v upon_o these_o thing_n as_o indifferent_a however_o he_o say_v 3._o that_o we_o suppose_v those_o thing_n indifferent_a which_o they_o can_v but_o judge_n unlawful_a as_o they_o have_v often_o tell_v their_o brethren_n but_o how_o do_v they_o prove_v they_o unlawful_a do_v they_o show_v where_o god_n have_v forbid_v they_o as_o we_o for_o instance_n produce_v the_o second_o commandment_n to_o tshew_a that_o in_o that_o commandment_n god_n have_v forbid_v he_o worship_n of_o image_n so_o do_v they_o or_o can_v they_o produce_v any_o such_o testimony_n of_o scripture_n against_o kneel_v when_o we_o receive_v word_n no_o this_o be_v not_o what_o they_o pretend_v to_o do_v but_o then_o we_o be_v apt_a to_o conclude_v that_o if_o these_o thing_n be_v not_o forbid_v that_o they_o be_v at_o least_o indifferent_a and_o therefore_o lawful_a and_o which_o be_v something_o more_o we_o have_v their_o leave_n also_o thus_o to_o conclude_v 3._o see_v there_o be_v none_o of_o they_o but_o agree_v with_o we_o in_o our_o notion_n of_o indifferent_a thing_n viz._n that_o they_o be_v such_o thing_n as_o by_o the_o divine_a law_n be_v neither_o enjoin_v nor_o forbid_v thing_n undertermine_v by_o the_o law_n of_o god_n in_o nature_n or_o scripture_n how_o then_o do_v they_o prove_v those_o thing_n unlawful_a to_o be_v do_v in_o god_n worship_n which_o god_n have_v not_o forbid_v either_o in_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n or_o scripture_n to_o make_v short_a work_n of_o it_o those_o particular_n in_o our_o communion_n which_o they_o except_v against_o be_v unlawful_a because_o they_o be_v not_o necessary_a to_o worship_n nor_o command_v by_o any_o express_a law_n of_o god_n which_o be_v as_o much_o as_o to_o say_v that_o though_o they_o be_v indifferent_a because_o they_o be_v neither_o enjoin_v nor_o forbid_v by_o the_o law_n of_o god_n in_o nature_n or_o scripture_n yet_o they_o be_v not_o indifferent_a and_o that_o because_o they_o be_v not_o enjoin_v so_o that_o whilst_o our_o brethren_n allow_v the_o determination_n of_o indifferent_a thing_n to_o authority_n they_o take_v away_o with_o one_o hand_n what_o they_o give_v with_o the_o other_o for_o according_a to_o their_o principle_n there_o be_v nothing_o leave_v for_o authority_n to_o determine_v as_o to_o the_o order_n of_o god_n public_a worship_n for_o one_o will_v think_v that_o the_o matter_n of_o such_o determination_n shall_v be_v those_o thing_n which_o god_n have_v leave_v to_o our_o liberty_n but_o you_o be_v mistake_v if_o you_o think_v so_o since_o for_o this_o very_a reason_n that_o they_o be_v leave_v at_o liberty_n it_o be_v unlawful_a for_o one_o man_n be_v his_o authority_n what_o it_o will_v so_o long_o as_o it_o be_v but_o human_a authority_n to_o determine_v in_o they_o for_o another_o and_o it_o be_v unlawful_a for_o this_o other_o man_n to_o submit_v to_o his_o determination_n for_o we_o be_v tell_v that_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n direct_v we_o to_o use_v the_o most_o the_o posture_n of_o prayer_n or_o word_n use_v in_o prayer_n the_o holy_a scripture_n be_v every_o where_o as_o sufficient_a to_o we_o as_o the_o law_n of_o moses_n be_v to_o the_o jew_n which_o command_v as_o to_o the_o passover_n the_o offering_n a_o lamb_n or_o a_o kid_n and_o leave_v it_o to_o the_o discretion_n and_o conveniency_n of_o the_o offerer_n to_o determine_v which_o so_o for_o stand_v sit_v or_o kneel_v at_o prayer_n god_n indeed_o have_v leave_v the_o one_o or_o the_o other_o of_o they_o to_o we_o not_o determine_v leave_v it_o to_o our_o choice_n or_o conveniency_n which_o to_o use_v case_n who_o sometime_o can_v use_v stand_v 30._o another_o time_n can_v use_v kneel_v he_o have_v command_v we_o to_o pray_v and_o that_o with_o our_o voice_n as_o well_o as_o our_o heart_n but_o that_o he_o have_v not_o tell_v we_o what_o word_n we_o shall_v always_o use_v god_n have_v therefore_o leave_v we_o at_o liberty_n what_o word_n to_o use_v as_o he_o leave_v the_o jew_n at_o liberty_n whether_o to_o offer_v a_o lamb_n or_o a_o kid_n and_o moses_n may_v by_o the_o same_o authority_n have_v tie_v up_o all_o the_o jew_n to_o offer_v none_o but_o kid_n or_o none_o but_o lamb_n as_o superior_n can_v tie_v up_o inferior_n to_o use_v none_o but_o such_o or_o such_o word_n in_o prayer_n and_o the_o jew_n may_v every_o whit_n as_o lawful_o have_v obey_v moses_n in_o such_o a_o command_n as_o we_o can_v obey_v any_o superior_n in_o such_o a_o case_n that_o be_v it_o have_v be_v unlawful_a in_o the_o jew_n to_o have_v obey_v moses_n in_o such_o a_o case_n and_o it_o will_v be_v unlawful_a in_o the_o dissenter_n and_o it_o be_v unlawful_a in_o we_o to_o obey_v our_o superior_n in_o any_o of_o their_o determination_n concern_v thing_n in_o god_n worship_n to_o separation_n for_o great_a purity_n of_o worship_n and_o ordinance_n 2._o the_o difference_n with_o respect_n to_o that_o common_a question_n who_o shall_v be_v the_o judge_n 3._o the_o difference_n of_o the_o principle_n upon_o which_o either_o side_n separate_v as_o to_o their_o tendency_n either_o to_o maintain_v or_o to_o overthrow_v one_o communion_n among_o christian_n 1._o with_o respect_n to_o separation_n for_o great_a purity_n of_o worship_n and_o ordinance_n the_o dissenter_n say_v that_o if_o for_o great_a purity_n england_n separate_v from_o rome_n other_o also_o may_v for_o great_a purity_n separate_a from_o england_n and_o because_o i_o perceive_v this_o consequence_n be_v insist_v upon_o not_o only_o by_o well_o mean_v people_n but_o by_o some_o that_o discourse_v of_o this_o consequence_n be_v that_o we_o and_o the_o dissenter_n do_v not_o understand_v the_o same_o thing_n by_o great_a purity_n by_o the_o impurity_n or_o corruption_n of_o the_o roman_a communion_n which_o be_v the_o principal_a reason_n of_o our_o depart_n from_o it_o we_o understand_v the_o sinfulness_n thereof_o and_o by_o separate_v from_o that_o church_n for_o great_a purity_n we_o therefore_o mean_v forsake_v her_o communion_n that_o we_o may_v not_o partake_v in_o her_o sin_n which_o otherwise_o we_o can_v not_o avoid_v to_o make_v good_a this_o charge_n that_o her_o communion_n be_v and_o still_o be_v corrupt_v in_o this_o sense_n we_o have_v but_o that_o one_o plain_a way_n already_o declare_v we_o show_v that_o there_o be_v several_a doctrine_n which_o
