and_o practise_v great_a liberty_n than_o the_o law_n of_o the_o sabbath_n permit_v yea_o and_o leave_v that_o day_n altogether_o what_o can_v you_o say_v to_o this_o in_o so_o much_o as_o the_o holy_a apostle_n do_v only_o alter_v and_o change_v the_o day_n and_o that_o also_o to_o the_o very_a next_o day_n that_o be_v to_o say_v see_v they_o only_o translate_v it_o from_o the_o seven_o day_n which_o be_v the_o very_a next_o after_o the_o work_n of_o god_n creation_n be_v end_v to_o the_o first_o day_n of_o the_o week_n upon_o the_o which_o the_o world_n begin_v and_o upon_o the_o which_o the_o son_n of_o god_n by_o who_o the_o world_n be_v at_o the_o first_o make_v and_o all_o thing_n therein_o rise_v again_o by_o the_o mighty_a power_n of_o god_n to_o declare_v himself_o to_o be_v the_o perfect_a redeemer_n of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n and_o the_o only_a mean_n of_o the_o uphold_v and_o preserve_v of_o the_o whole_a frame_n of_o this_o transitory_a and_o decay_a world_n and_o further_a also_o see_v they_o both_o by_o doctrine_n and_o example_n employ_v that_o first_o day_n of_o the_o week_n in_o the_o weekly_o recourse_n of_o it_o to_o the_o religious_a assemble_v of_o god_n people_n and_o for_o the_o holy_a exercise_n of_o the_o christian_a duty_n of_o god_n worship_n even_o the_o same_o which_o have_v be_v rehearse_v before_o for_o the_o duty_n of_o the_o lord_n sabbath_n final_o see_v the_o same_o first_o day_n of_o the_o week_n have_v the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n day_n translate_v unto_o it_o it_o be_v by_o all_o these_o reason_n manifest_a that_o it_o be_v not_o their_o purpose_n to_o abrogate_v and_o abolish_v the_o sabbath_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o sanctify_a of_o every_o seven_o day_n but_o rather_o to_o establish_v it_o with_o this_o so_o near_o a_o change_n to_o the_o perpetual_a memorial_n not_o only_o of_o the_o first_o creation_n but_o also_o of_o this_o latter_a renew_n of_o all_o thing_n by_o our_o saviour_n christ_n to_o the_o more_o clear_a and_o full_a honour_n of_o god_n in_o the_o name_n of_o jesus_n christ_n in_o these_o last_o day_n of_o the_o clear_a revelation_n of_o the_o gospel_n these_o reason_n may_v suffice_v to_o every_o one_o that_o be_v not_o contentious_a for_o see_v the_o holy_a apostle_n be_v most_o faithful_a in_o all_o the_o house_n of_o god_n as_o be_v moses_n how_o may_v we_o with_o any_o reason_n once_o call_v it_o into_o question_n as_o doubt_v whether_o they_o have_v their_o commandment_n and_o direction_n from_o our_o saviour_n christ_n himself_o after_o his_o resurrection_n or_o no_o and_o that_o the_o apostle_n do_v only_o change_v the_o day_n and_o not_o absolute_o take_v away_o the_o sabbath_n read_v act_n 20.7_o and_o 1._o corinthian_n 16.1.2_o and_o revelation_n 1.10_o for_o they_o spend_v the_o first_o day_n of_o the_o week_n in_o the_o same_o holy_a exercise_n with_o christian_a gentile_n wherein_o they_o spend_v the_o seven_o day_n with_o the_o christian_a jew_n etc._n etc._n but_o that_o we_o may_v draw_v to_o a_o end_n how_o can_v you_o show_v that_o the_o sabbath_n be_v not_o a_o mere_a vanish_v ceremony_n now_o since_o the_o appearance_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o clear_a revelation_n of_o his_o gospel_n because_o there_o shall_v not_o then_o be_v ten_o but_o only_o nine_o commandment_n of_o perpetual_a durance_n in_o the_o moral_a law_n of_o god_n and_o also_o because_o this_o commandment_n be_v ordain_v for_o man_n before_o yet_o there_o be_v any_o use_n of_o any_o figurative_a ceremony_n concern_v christ_n to_o come_v hitherto_o therefore_o of_o the_o first_o table_n of_o the_o law_n concern_v the_o several_a branch_n of_o that_o which_o our_o saviour_n christ_n call_v the_o great_a commandment_n the_o sum_n whereof_o he_o show_v to_o be_v the_o perfect_a love_n of_o god_n the_o second_o table_n follow_v which_o our_o saviour_n christ_n likewise_o call_v the_o second_o commandment_n &_o say_v that_o it_o be_v like_a to_o the_o former_a wherein_o have_v you_o learned_a that_o they_o be_v like_a the_o second_o be_v like_a unto_o the_o first_o in_o many_o respect_n as_o follow_v it_o how_o the_o partly_o clear_a in_o itself_o and_o will_v further_o be_v more_o manifest_a in_o the_o particular_a handle_n of_o the_o commandment_n thereof_o but_o be_v there_o no_o difference_n of_o they_o like_o the_o well_o order_v of_o all_o society_n if_o it_o be_v thorough_o observe_v the_o second_o why_o this_o commandment_n forbid_v murder_n have_v the_o next_o place_n after_o that_o what_o have_v you_o learn_v for_o answer_v to_o these_o thing_n it_o the_o scope_n of_o it_o first_o the_o lordre_v not_o in_o the_o former_a commandment_n only_o because_o that_o contempt_n of_o good_a order_n and_o government_n which_o reign_v in_o our_o nature_n break_v forth_o into_o sundry_a outrage_n and_o mischief_n which_o he_o see_v likewise_o necessary_a that_o they_o shall_v be_v express_o mention_v and_o straight_o forbid_v second_o he_o give_v the_o commandment_n against_o murder_n the_o next_o place_n because_o not_o only_o in_o the_o account_n of_o man_n but_o also_o even_o in_o the_o unless_o god_n by_o his_o grace_n do_v correct_v the_o same_o as_o they_o have_v plentiful_a experience_n to_o who_o the_o examination_n of_o malefactor_n appertain_v and_o as_o we_o be_v altogether_o corrupt_a and_o sinful_a in_o lie_v all_o manner_n of_o lie_n both_o earnest_n lie_v merry_a lie_n and_o officious_a lie_n in_o cunning_a excuse_n in_o false_a accusation_n &_o in_o the_o root_n of_o covet_v therefore_o or_o lust_a be_v as_o a_o universal_a leprosy_n or_o contagious_a poison_n overspread_v or_o rather_o undermine_v all_o good_a duty_n it_o may_v seem_v therefore_o that_o this_o commandment_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o repetition_n or_o interpretation_n of_o that_o which_o have_v be_v already_o forbid_v how_o may_v this_o stand_v with_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o most_o lord_n forbid_v first_o the_o contrary_n to_o original_a inclination_n to_o that_o perfect_a righteousness_n and_o love_n which_o we_o do_v owe_v to_o our_o neighbour_n that_o be_v to_o say_v original_a inclination_n to_o injustice_n and_o to_o the_o hatred_n of_o our_o neighbour_n yea_o and_o also_o original_a inclination_n to_o the_o inordinate_a and_o excessive_a love_n of_o ourselves_o even_o all_o the_o corruption_n which_o be_v come_v upon_o our_o nature_n by_o the_o fall_n of_o adam_n second_o the_o lord_n forbid_v the_o immediate_a fruit_n of_o the_o same_o inclination_n to_o injustice_n and_o unrighteousness_n and_o to_o the_o vile_a hatred_n of_o our_o neighbour_n and_o to_o the_o inordinate_a love_n of_o ourselves_o forbid_v sin_n forbid_v that_o be_v to_o say_v all_o unjust_a and_o hateful_a thought_n and_o motion_n of_o the_o heart_n entice_v and_o provoke_v to_o the_o hurt_n of_o our_o neighbour_n as_o also_o vain_a and_o fond_a thought_n motion_n &_o
