5._o reach_v unto_o sow_v time_n and_o you_o shall_v eat_v your_o bread_n in_o plenteousness_n and_o dwell_v in_o your_o land_n safe_o 2_o second_o forasmuch_o as_o the_o fruitfulness_n of_o their_o ground_n shall_v be_v little_a worth_n if_o the_o enemy_n come_v in_o and_o spoil_v it_o or_o evil_a beast_n devour_v either_o it_o or_o they_o therefore_o the_o lord_n promise_v they_o peace_n and_o public_a tranquillity_n both_o from_o man_n and_o beast_n say_v i_o will_v send_v peace_n in_o the_o land_n and_o you_o shall_v sleep_v and_o 6._o none_o shall_v make_v you_o afraid_a also_o i_o will_v rid_v evil_a beast_n out_o of_o the_o land_n and_o the_o sword_n shall_v not_o go_v through_o your_o land_n 3_o the_o three_o blessing_n promise_v be_v victory_n over_o their_o enemy_n when_o argument_n as_o i_o say_v be_v draw_v from_o punishment_n assure_v if_o they_o will_v not_o obey_v his_o law_n verse_n 14._o and_o so_o forward_o where_o first_o you_o may_v 14._o do_v well_o to_o observe_v how_o the_o word_n my_o be_v repeat_v in_o the_o 15._o verse_n my_o ordinance_n my_o law_n my_o commandment_n 15._o my_o covenant_n it_o teach_v we_o that_o it_o be_v sin_n in_o deed_n which_o be_v commit_v against_o god_n commandment_n not_o against_o i_o know_v not_o what_o superstition_n tradition_n of_o man_n as_o neither_o be_v the_o obedience_n to_o they_o any_o obedience_n care_v for_o of_o god_n 2_o as_o before_o we_o be_v not_o to_o conclude_v savour_n and_o love_n upon_o the_o outward_a blessing_n name_v so_o neither_o now_o may_v we_o reason_n from_o these_o affliction_n ever_o to_o hatred_n or_o dislike_n for_o as_o outward_a blessing_n befall_v the_o evil_a so_o outward_a cross_n befall_v the_o good_a and_o diverse_a be_v the_o end_n why_o god_n afflict_v his_o child_n not_o ever_o for_o sin_n nor_o in_o anger_n but_o who_o the_o lord_n love_v he_o chastise_v etc._n etc._n abel_n be_v slay_v that_o the_o lot_n of_o the_o godly_a may_v be_v note_v in_o he_o job_n sore_o afflict_v for_o the_o trial_n of_o his_o faith_n and_o the_o church_n instruction_n joseph_n imprison_v and_o much_o wrong_v that_o first_o he_o may_v be_v humble_v and_o then_o exalt_v the_o blind_a man_n in_o the_o gospel_n neither_o for_o his_o own_o sin_n nor_o his_o parent_n but_o that_o god_n glory_n may_v appear_v the_o apostle_n afflict_v that_o they_o may_v learn_v and_o we_o know_v our_o master_n his_o kingdom_n be_v not_o of_o this_o world_n by_o impiety_n judge_v of_o cross_n not_o by_o cross_n of_o impiety_n 3_o the_o punishment_n in_o particular_a
