bread-worshipper_n and_o idolater_n the_o bread_n not_o be_v transubstantiate_v since_o their_o worship_n then_o light_v upon_o bread_n instead_o of_o christ_n as_o the_o sun-worshipper_n upon_o the_o sun_n instead_o of_o a_o intelligent_a deity_n he_o that_o strike_v his_o friend_n in_o the_o dusk_n of_o the_o evening_n think_v it_o be_v his_o enemy_n think_v his_o friend_n be_v not_o there_o discoverable_a that_o there_o will_v be_v no_o need_n to_o insist_v long_o on_o this_o matter_n in_o the_o general_a than_o we_o be_v to_o note_v what_o a_o vast_a difference_n there_o be_v betwixt_o religious_a worship_n proper_o so_o call_v which_o be_v the_o same_o with_o divine_a worship_n and_o pious_a or_o religious_a affection_n and_o respect_n or_o preference_n of_o one_o thing_n before_o another_o for_o its_o relation_n it_o have_v to_o the_o object_n or_o exercise_v of_o our_o religion_n or_o divine_a worship_n it_o be_v but_o a_o homely_a proverb_n love_v i_o and_o love_v my_o dog_n but_o it_o may_v be_v of_o no_o impertinent_a significancy_n in_o this_o place_n for_o it_o be_v not_o understand_v of_o the_o love_n of_o friendship_n but_o of_o such_o a_o love_n as_o that_o inferior_a creature_n be_v capable_a of_o and_o be_v fit_a to_o give_v he_o in_o relation_n to_o his_o master_n to_o who_o we_o owe_v the_o love_n of_o friendship_n so_o they_o that_o have_v a_o real_a divine_a reverence_n for_o god_n it_o be_v no_o wonder_n they_o find_v a_o inclination_n in_o themselves_o of_o bear_v some_o reverence_n or_o have_v some_o respect_n to_o those_o thing_n or_o person_n that_o in_o a_o special_a manner_n relate_v to_o he_o whether_o it_o be_v priest_n or_o temple_n or_o any_o holy_a utensil_n or_o the_o like_a which_o reverence_n be_v quite_o different_a from_o that_o divine_a worship_n or_o reverence_n that_o be_v due_a to_o god_n himself_o more_o different_a than_o the_o love_n to_o one_o friend_n and_o to_o his_o spaniel_n and_o therefore_o can_v be_v no_o peculiarity_n of_o the_o godhead_n and_o consequent_o no_o violation_n of_o his_o peculiarity_n to_o give_v it_o to_o another_o which_o be_v the_o true_a notion_n of_o idolatry_n xxxvii_o
