such_o like_a these_o be_v more_o than_o simple_a affirmation_n and_o negation_n &_o therefore_o in_o common_a speech_n may_v not_o be_v use_v our_o saviour_n christ_n the_o pattern_n of_o piety_n never_o use_v they_o but_o in_o weighty_a matter_n which_o be_v careful_o to_o be_v remember_v and_o then_o he_o say_v very_o very_o i_o say_v unto_o you_o three_o here_o be_v condemn_v the_o use_n forbid_v all_o gather_n and_o lay_v up_o of_o treasure_n or_o wealth_n what_o be_v it_o then_o which_o christ_n here_o forbid_v ans._n sundry_a practice_n of_o forbid_v covetousness_n whereof_o the_o first_o be_v excessive_a seek_v of_o worldly_a wealth_n when_o man_n keep_v no_o measure_n nor_o morderation_n therein_o although_o god_n give_v sufficient_a yet_o they_o be_v not_o content_a their_o place_v he_o as_o book_n to_o a_o student_n tool_n to_o a_o tradesman_n etc._n etc._n now_o here_o arise_v the_o question_n up_o how_o much_o of_o these_o thing_n be_v to_o be_v count_v necessary_a &_o so_o may_v be_v provide_v for_o &_o lay_v up_o ans._n the_o opinion_n and_o judgement_n of_o the_o covetous_a man_n must_v be_v no_o rule_n in_o this_o case_n for_o his_o corrupt_a heart_n be_v unsatiable_a like_o the_o sea_n which_o can_v be_v fill_v and_o like_o 16_o the_o fire_n that_o never_o say_v it_o be_v enough_o now_o because_o of_o the_o diversity_n of_o man_n estate_n by_o reason_n of_o their_o difference_n in_o property_n &_o condition_n there_o can_v be_v no_o certain_a rule_n set_v down_o for_o that_o which_o be_v enough_o for_o one_o will_v not_o suffice_v another_o &_o therefore_o the_o judgement_n &_o practice_n of_o the_o godly_a wise_a who_o know_v how_o to_o use_v the_o creature_n as_o blessing_n of_o god_n providence_n must_v be_v our_o rule_n to_o judge_v what_o be_v necessary_a other_o rule_v we_o have_v not_o in_o the_o word_n but_o what_o they_o judge_v needful_a according_a to_o the_o word_n that_o must_v be_v esteem_v necessary_a and_o according_o provide_v yet_o further_o this_o may_v here_o be_v add_v that_o thing_n must_v not_o be_v deem_v necessary_a only_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o present_a use_n but_o also_o with_o respect_n to_o the_o may_v in_o the_o use_n of_o lawful_a mean_n provide_v for_o their_o portion_n before_o hand_n that_o when_o their_o age_n require_v he_o may_v therewith_o dispose_v of_o they_o in_o some_o good_a state_n of_o life_n the_o second_o sort_n of_o worldly_a good_n be_v abundâ—ce_n abundance_n whereby_o i_o mean_v that_o plenty_n and_o store_n which_o serve_v not_o only_o for_o necessity_n but_o for_o holy_a comeliness_n and_o delight_n the_o three_o superfluity_n sort_n be_v superfluity_n whereby_o i_o mean_v such_o abundance_n as_o a_o man_n have_v neither_o use_n of_o for_o the_o present_a
