bear_v the_o weight_n of_o a_o man_n body_n but_o if_o he_o lean_v upon_o they_o they_o will_v run_v into_o his_o hand_n if_o god_n be_v against_o we_o man_n can_v protect_v from_o he_o nor_o many_o other_o promise_n for_o the_o good_a thing_n of_o this_o life_n which_o be_v make_v to_o the_o people_n of_o god_n in_o scripture_n though_o they_o be_v not_o to_o be_v interpret_v into_o a_o extent_n of_o that_o latitude_n as_o if_o they_o shall_v be_v the_o constant_a portion_n of_o the_o church_n and_o people_n of_o god_n or_o of_o every_o child_n of_o god_n yet_o how_o shall_v they_o be_v make_v good_a if_o there_o be_v not_o some_o circulation_n of_o providence_n in_o the_o distribution_n of_o the_o good_a thing_n of_o this_o life_n if_o it_o shall_v not_o go_v sometime_o well_o as_o well_o as_o sometime_o ill_a with_o the_o church_n and_o people_n of_o god_n 2._o the_o reasonableness_n of_o this_o motion_n of_o divine_a providence_n will_v appear_v to_o you_o from_o god_n that_o famous_a instance_n of_o david_n record_v in_o holy_a writ_n both_o in_o the_o 2_o sam._n 7._o and_o in_o 1_o chron._n 17._o the_o story_n be_v this_o david_n life_n until_o that_o time_n have_v be_v a_o life_n of_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o trouble_n and_o distraction_n he_o have_v many_o enemy_n both_o before_o and_o after_o he_o come_v to_o the_o throne_n but_o at_o length_n god_n prescribe_v for_o the_o regulation_n of_o man_n life_n or_o as_o he_o be_v a_o most_o pure_a and_o holy_a god_n offend_v and_o injure_v by_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n who_o concern_v it_o be_v to_o child_n be_v sinner_n and_o under_o a_o original_a guilt_n and_o if_o we_o can_v be_v so_o confident_a as_o some_o be_v that_o none_o shall_v be_v damn_v for_o that_o sin_n only_o or_o that_o it_o be_v expiate_v on_o the_o behalf_n of_o all_o or_o wash_v away_o in_o baptism_n as_o to_o all_o bear_v within_o the_o pale_a of_o the_o church_n yet_o nothing_o hinder_v but_o by_o the_o same_o justice_n by_o which_o god_n punish_v past_a and_o pardon_v sin_n which_o i_o have_v former_o at_o large_a open_v to_o you_o god_n may_v yet_o just_o trouble_v and_o afflict_v little_a one_o they_o hour_n of_o life_n how_o much_o we_o depend_v upon_o he_o for_o our_o daily_a breath_n as_o well_o as_o for_o daily_a bread_n now_o it_o be_v but_o reasonable_a that_o the_o world_n shall_v understand_v god_n to_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o life_n that_o sickness_n and_o death_n do_v not_o mere_o depend_v upon_o second_o cause_n but_o there_o be_v a_o first_o cause_n that_o be_v the_o shall_v take_v their_o little_a one_o and_o dash_v they_o against_o the_o stone_n and_o we_o read_v in_o scripture_n of_o such_o famine_n as_o enforce_a woman_n to_o eat_v their_o own_o child_n now_o the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v good_a and_o for_o good_a and_o the_o product_n both_o of_o infinite_a wisdom_n and_o of_o infinite_a goodness_n it_o be_v our_o unhappiness_n that_o we_o judge_v of_o event_n to_o we_o in_o this_o world_n by_o sense_n and_o not_o according_a to_o faith_n this_o make_v we_o call_v many_o thing_n evil_a indeed_o there_o be_v nothing_o can_v happen_v to_o a_o good_a
