subject_n and_o his_o duty_n not_o only_o to_o bear_v faithful_a allegiance_n to_o his_o prince_n in_o his_o heart_n but_o also_o to_o wish_v he_o well_o to_o love_v he_o to_o speak_v well_o of_o he_o and_o most_o hearty_o to_o pray_v for_o he_o for_o so_o the_o apostle_n to_o timothy_n 2._o the_o second_o chapter_n exhort_v we_o say_v i_o exhort_v therefore_o that_o first_o of_o all_o agreeable_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n then_o be_v we_o to_o obey_v they_o in_o all_o thing_n and_o to_o adventure_v and_o hazard_v both_o our_o life_n and_o good_n as_o well_o in_o defence_n of_o he_o and_o of_o his_o law_n upon_o the_o otherside_n if_o our_o prince_n be_v a_o wicked_a prince_n bloody_a cruel_a and_o tyrannical_a and_o do_v constitute_v law_n and_o statute_n clean_o contrary_a and_o repugnant_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n than_o we_o be_v thus_o to_o do_v we_o must_v submit_v ourselves_o under_o his_o sceptre_n and_o in_o all_o humility_n &_o humble_a obedience_n lie_v down_o our_o life_n at_o his_o foot_n rather_o choose_v to_o die_v than_o to_o do_v any_o thing_n contrary_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n &_o good_a conscience_n so_o far_o off_o ought_v we_o to_o be_v from_o take_v arm_n against_o our_o prince_n for_o any_o matter_n whatsoever_o for_o the_o apostle_n say_v flat_o that_o those_o who_o do_v resist_v the_o power_n 14â—_n do_v resist_v the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n and_o do_v purchase_v to_o themselves_o eternal_a damnation_n and_o hence_o be_v it_o that_o we_o never_o read_v so_o much_o as_o of_o one_o traitor_n or_o proditor_n of_o his_o
