the_o administration_n of_o the_o government_n in_o his_o hand_n and_o be_v in_o the_o place_n of_o the_o king_n though_o the_o late_a king_n have_v call_v in_o his_o writ_n and_o leave_v the_o kingdom_n and_o that_o exigence_n of_o affair_n can_v not_o possible_o admit_v any_o other_o remedy_n i_o say_v such_o a_o convention_n when_o allow_v by_o the_o king_n do_v much_o rather_o deserve_v the_o name_n and_o challenge_v the_o authority_n of_o a_o parliament_n the_o argument_n receive_v much_o strength_n if_o we_o consider_v that_o now_o the_o election_n of_o our_o representatives_n so_o essential_a to_o our_o parliament_n be_v the_o great_a fundamental_a privilege_n of_o the_o people_n and_o consequent_o the_o king_n writ_n to_o that_o purpose_n that_o we_o may_v have_v frequent_a parliament_n be_v the_o people_n privilege_n also_o beside_o the_o present_a king_n can_v be_v suppose_v to_o suffer_v any_o thing_n in_o his_o prerogative_n who_o though_o in_o another_o capacity_n do_v in_o effect_n send_v out_o such_o writ_n and_o since_o he_o take_v the_o crown_n have_v allow_v the_o election_n upon_o his_o own_o summons_n for_o a_o convention_n to_o serve_v in_o order_n to_o their_o be_v a_o parliament_n what_o can_v be_v think_v want_v to_o the_o make_v they_o a_o parliament_n the_o people_n have_v their_o privilege_n and_o the_o king_n his_o prerogative_n and_o while_o we_o have_v the_o substance_n it_o be_v vain_a to_o complain_v of_o the_o want_n of_o a_o mere_a formality_n impossible_a to_o be_v have_v to_o the_o unsettlement_n of_o a_o whole_a kingdom_n second_o
