lord_n supper_n as_o jonathan_n and_o david_n they_o have_v make_v a_o oath_n together_o before_o but_o they_o renew_v it_o again_o and_o again_o that_o they_o may_v be_v strengthen_v and_o confirm_v in_o one_o another_o love_n so_o this_o be_v your_o worthy_a receive_n of_o this_o sacrament_n to_o strengthen_v your_o former_a covenant_n with_o god_n therefore_o it_o be_v good_a when_o you_o be_v to_o receive_v to_o think_v how_o much_o since_o the_o last_o time_n
do_v not_o strengthen_v the_o inward_a man_n wicked_a thought_n will_v get_v strength_n in_o your_o heart_n and_o evil_a action_n in_o your_o hand_n swear_v it_o not_o better_a to_o be_v strong_a in_o the_o inward_a man_n and_o to_o have_v holiness_n and_o grace_n in_o the_o heart_n let_v this_o therefore_o move_v you_o to_o strengthen_v the_o inward_a man_n thus_o much_o for_o the_o first_o motive_n the_o second_o motive_n to_o move_v you_o to_o strengthen_v the_o inward_a motive_n man_n be_v this_o if_o you_o labour_v to_o strengthen_v the_o inward_a man_n you_o shall_v thereby_o please_v god_n that_o be_v if_o a_o man_n have_v never_o so_o much_o strength_n yet_o if_o it_o be_v not_o the_o strength_n of_o the_o inward_a man_n he_o can_v please_v god_n that_o be_v he_o can_v none_o but_o christ_n please_v god_n but_o when_o you_o strengthen_v the_o inward_a man_n you_o please_v god_n by_o way_n of_o object_n you_o choose_v grace_n and_o favour_n and_o holiness_n above_o good_a action_n and_o fill_v a_o man_n with_o the_o fruit_n of_o righteousness_n it_o be_v the_o holy_a ghost_n that_o be_v the_o moisture_n and_o the_o sun_n and_o the_o rain_n that_o moisten_v and_o we_o so_o likewise_o prayer_n be_v much_o in_o prayer_n and_o in_o the_o communion_n of_o saint_n and_o that_o will_v make_v a_o man_n strong_a it_o will_v make_v he_o ready_a to_o use_v his_o strength_n and_o the_o grace_n he_o have_v but_o i_o hasten_v the_o main_a thing_n that_o i_o have_v to_o commend_v to_o you_o to_o stir_v you_o up_o to_o use_v your_o strength_n to_o do_v the_o lord_n work_v and_o christ_n to_o use_v the_o grace_n you_o have_v upon_o all_o occasion_n for_o his_o advantage_n it_o be_v this_o consideration_n to_o deny_v yourselves_o and_o to_o seek_v the_o thing_n of_o jesus_n christ_n that_o be_v the_o last_o thing_n i_o will_v pitch_v on_o for_o that_o be_v all_o in_o all_o what_o be_v the_o reason_n that_o a_o man_n use_v not_o the_o strength_n he_o have_v because_o he_o seek_v his_o own_o thing_n and_o not_o the_o thing_n of_o jesus_n christ._n if_o the_o heart_n be_v bring_v to_o this_o to_o deny_v itself_o and_o to_o neglect_v its_o own_o thing_n and_o to_o seek_v the_o thing_n that_o be_v jesus_n christ_n he_o will_v be_v ready_a then_o to_o stir_v up_o his_o stength_n he_o will_v be_v ready_a then_o to_o run_v and_o to_o go_v to_o do_v any_o service_n to_o the_o lord_n you_o have_v that_o in_o philip_n 2._o i_o 2._o have_v no_o man_n like_o mind_a that_o will_v faithful_o care_v for_o your_o thing_n for_o every_o man_n seek_v his_o own_o and_o not_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v jesus_n christ_n now_o to_o heal_v that_o disease_n in_o yourselves_o to_o bring_v your_o heart_n to_o a_o quite_o contrary_a temper_n not_o to_o seek_v your_o own_o thing_n but_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v christ_n labour_v to_o have_v this_o wrought_v on_o your_o heart_n and_o that_o be_v it_o that_o will_v most_o immediate_o prepare_v you_o and_o enable_v you_o to_o use_v your_o strength_n for_o the_o lord_n upon_o all_o occasion_n you_o will_v say_v how_o shall_v we_o do_v this_o quest._n consider_v that_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n lie_v upon_o you_o to_o do_v answ._n it_o and_o if_o there_o do_v not_o a_o necessity_n lie_v on_o you_o yet_o it_o be_v best_o for_o you_o to_o do_v it_o and_o if_o it_o be_v not_o best_o for_o thou_o yet_o christ_n have_v deserve_v it_o at_o thy_o hand_n he_o be_v worthy_a of_o it_o that_o thou_o shall_v not_o seek_v thy_o own_o thing_n but_o the_o thing_n of_o jesus_n christ._n these_o thing_n we_o will_v a_o little_a enlarge_v and_o so_o end_n first_o i_o say_v there_o be_v a_o necessity_n lie_v on_o thou_o to_o do_v it_o it_o do_v be_v true_a if_o thou_o be_v thy_o own_o master_n she_o own_o bottom_n but_o when_o she_o be_v marry_v once_o she_o must_v please_v her_o husband_n and_o be_v obedient_a to_o he_o i_o say_v when_o thou_o be_v christ_n once_o for_o i_o speak_v to_o those_o that_o profess_v themselves_o to_o be_v his_o those_o that_o have_v strength_n and_o need_v nothing_o but_o to_o stir_v it_o up_o other_o man_n may_v do_v what_o they_o will_v as_o it_o be_v say_v when_o there_o be_v no_o king_n in_o israel_n every_o man_n do_v what_o be_v good_a in_o his_o own_o eye_n but_o when_o thou_o have_v put_v thyself_o under_o his_o yoke_n and_o accept_v he_o for_o thy_o king_n thou_o must_v live_v by_o the_o law_n of_o his_o kingdom_n and_o be_v subject_a to_o thy_o prince_n when_o thou_o have_v take_v christ_n for_o thy_o king_n as_o every_o man_n have_v that_o be_v once_o enter_v into_o covenant_n with_o he_o
