friend_n god_n can_v not_o deal_v so_o with_o child_n not_o to_o give_v one_o word_n of_o comfort_n not_o one_o word_n of_o answer_n oh_o sure_o i_o be_o a_o hypocrite_n for_o the_o prayer_n of_o the_o upright_o be_v his_o delight_n and_o if_o there_o be_v any_o truth_n of_o heart_n in_o i_o the_o lord_n will_v give_v out_o a_o answer_n and_o thus_o the_o devil_n and_o the_o flesh-raise_a many_o jealousy_n and_o fear_n about_o the_o soul_n eternal_a state_n or_o three_o if_o the_o devil_n and_o the_o flesh_n prevail_v not_o so_o far_o as_o to_o cause_v the_o soul_n to_o question_v this_o that_o god_n sometime_o do_v seem_v not_o only_o to_o be_v silent_a at_o the_o prayer_n of_o his_o people_n when_o they_o cry_v themselves_o 1._o but_o he_o give_v a_o denial_n when_o other_o step_v in_o and_o pray_v for_o they_o nay_o observe_v that_o after_o a_o soul_n have_v wait_v upon_o god_n in_o the_o use_n of_o the_o mean_n 2._o when_o it_o have_v pray_v and_o have_v believe_v and_o when_o it_o have_v call_v in_o the_o help_n of_o other_o prayer_n yet_o the_o lord_n may_v seem_v to_o give_v a_o denial_n and_o the_o condition_n may_v seem_v to_o be_v worse_o and_o the_o temptation_n seem_v to_o rise_v high_a even_o after_o a_o soul_n have_v wait_v upon_o god_n in_o the_o use_n of_o mean_n and_o yet_o the_o lord_n may_v have_v a_o gracious_a design_n towards_o the_o soul_n for_o mark_v it_o this_o woman_n condition_n be_v worse_a now_o then_o ever_o it_o be_v the_o disciple_n have_v pray_v for_o she_o and_o yet_o even_o after_o this_o christ_n seem_v to_o give_v a_o flat_a denial_n and_o tell_v they_o that_o he_o can_v do_v it_o for_o she_o it_o be_v beside_o his_o commission_n he_o be_v not_o send_v to_o do_v it_o so_o that_o after_o the_o use_n of_o mean_n true_o we_o be_v ready_a to_o drive_v ourselves_o upon_o this_o work_n either_o to_o cast_v off_o prayer_n or_o else_o to_o rest_v upon_o the_o mean_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v that_o a_o poor_a
