and_o the_o holy_a spirit_n as_o to_o the_o latter_a either_o therefore_o the_o god_n of_o the_o heathen_a be_v by_o these_o word_n of_o christ_n understand_v to_o be_v exclude_v from_o true_a godhead_n because_o it_o be_v apparent_a that_o they_o be_v different_a from_o the_o father_n who_o christ_n call_v the_o only_a true_a god_n or_o because_o it_o be_v already_o apparent_a that_o they_o be_v false_a god_n not_o for_o the_o latter_a cause_n for_o otherwise_o they_o will_v be_v judge_v already_o exclude_v from_o true_a godhead_n before_o they_o be_v understand_v to_o be_v exclude_v by_o virtue_n of_o the_o word_n of_o christ_n nor_o will_v there_o be_v need_n to_o make_v use_n of_o these_o word_n to_o that_o purpose_n if_o for_o the_o former_a cause_n it_o be_v necessary_a that_o all_o who_o be_v apparent_o different_a from_o the_o father_n of_o jesus_n christ_n shall_v be_v exclude_v from_o that_o true_a or_o most_o high_a godhead_n for_o otherwise_o the_o argument_n which_o shall_v from_o these_o word_n be_v draw_v to_o exclude_v the_o idol_n of_o the_o heathen_a from_o the_o true_a godhead_n will_v be_v invalid_a for_o it_o will_v be_v thus_o if_o it_o shall_v by_o way_n of_o syllogism_n be_v propose_v some_o different_a from_o the_o father_n of_o jesus_n christ_n be_v not_o the_o true_a god_n the_o idol_n of_o the_o heathen_a be_v different_a from_o the_o father_n of_o jesus_n christ_n therefore_o be_v not_o the_o true_a god_n the_o major_n will_v be_v particular_a in_o the_o first_o figure_n which_o make_v the_o consequence_n invalid_a wherefore_o although_o the_o false_a opinion_n of_o the_o heathen_a touch_v their_o idol_n give_v occasion_n to_o christ_n to_o call_v his_o father_n the_o only_a true_a god_n yet_o do_v he_o so_o shape_v his_o word_n that_o other_o also_o may_v be_v exclude_v from_o that_o true_a godhead_n and_o not_o only_o they_o to_o who_o supreme_a godhead_n be_v then_o false_o attribute_v but_o such_o also_o to_o who_o the_o same_o might_n in_o time_n to_o come_v be_v likewise_o false_o attribute_v for_o that_o we_o may_v add_v this_o also_o who_o doubt_v that_o peter_n for_o example_n paul_n gabriel_n michael_n be_v by_o virtue_n of_o these_o word_n of_o christ_n strong_o exclude_v from_o the_o most_o high_a godhead_n but_o there_o be_v then_o none_o that_o hold_v they_o to_o be_v most_o high_a god_n nor_o consequent_o do_v christ_n special_o intend_v to_o exclude_v they_o from_o the_o deity_n wherefore_o the_o force_n of_o the_o word_n and_o meaning_n be_v of_o a_o large_a extent_n they_o conceive_v one_o substance_n they_o can_v think_v of_o a_o different_a person_n certain_o concern_v mood_n subsistence_n suppositality_n and_o personality_n which_o exist_v in_o the_o same_o numerical_a substance_n do_v constitute_v person_n real_o distinct_a even_o at_o this_o day_n the_o vulgar_a sort_n of_o christian_n do_v not_o think_v so_o unlikely_a be_v it_o that_o heretofore_o among_o the_o jew_n even_o fisherman_n do_v know_v they_o wherefore_o if_o christ_n fit_v himself_o to_o the_o capacity_n of_o the_o vulgar_a will_v have_v all_o different_a substance_n from_o the_o understand_v that_o in_o these_o word_n the_o contrary_a to_o what_o be_v urge_v in_o this_o exception_n be_v rather_o take_v for_o grant_v namely_o that_o he_o who_o be_v distinguish_v in_o person_n from_o the_o father_n as_o christ_n be_v be_v also_o distinguish_v from_o he_o in_o substance_n and_o consequent_o by_o virtue_n of_o these_o word_n of_o christ_n be_v exclude_v from_o that_o true_a and_o most_o high_a godhead_n and_o this_o be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o to_o be_v believe_v touch_v christ_n in_o that_o the_o disciple_n who_o be_v then_o present_a do_v not_o only_o see_v he_o to_o be_v a_o true_a man_n but_o also_o hear_v he_o distinguish_v from_o the_o father_n as_o a_o messenger_n from_o the_o sender_n and_o also_o that_o he_o pour_v out_o prayer_n unto_o the_o same_o and_o beg_v glory_n of_o he_o again_o if_o none_o by_o virtue_n of_o these_o word_n of_o christ_n be_v exclude_v from_o the_o true_a godhead_n although_o he_o manifest_o differ_v in_o person_n from_o the_o father_n unless_o it_o be_v also_o apparent_a that_o he_o be_v different_a from_o he_o in_o essence_n it_o will_v follow_v that_o he_o can_v be_v confute_v by_o these_o word_n who_o shall_v say_v that_o gabriel_n for_o example_n peter_n paul_n or_o final_o jupiter_n neptune_n or_o the_o other_o god_n of_o the_o heathen_a be_v the_o true_a
