HEar me when I call O God of my righteousnesse thou hast enlarged me when I was in distresse have mercy upon me and hear my prayer O Do thou hear me when I call God of my righteousnesse Have mercy hear my prayer thou hast inlarg'd me in distresse 2 O ye sons of men how long will ye turn my glory into shame how long will ye love vanity and seek after leasiug Selah 2 O sons of men how long will ye my glory turn to shame How long will ye love vanity and leasing seek to frame Selah 3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself the Lord will hear when I call unto him 3 But know that for himself the Lord him that is godly heer Hath set apart the Lord when I unto him call will hear 4 Stand in aw and sinne not commune with your own heart upon your bed and 〈◊〉 still Selah 4 Stand ye in aw and do not sin to commune have a will With your own heart upon your bed and be ye also still Selah 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousnesse and put your trust in the Lord. 5 The sacrifices offer up of righteousnesse that be And into him that is the Lord your confidence put ye 6 There be many that say Who will shew vs any good Lord lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us 6 Who will to us shew any good there many be that say Lord of thy countenance the light lift up on us alway 7 Thou hast put gladnesse in my heart more then in the time that their corn and their wine increased 7 Thou hast in mercy gladnesse put into this heart of mine More then in time increased were their corn and al 's their wine 8 I will both lay me down in peace and sleep for thou Lord onely makest me dwell in safety 8 I will both lay me down in peace and sleep will also well For thou Lord only makest me in safety for to dwell PSALME V.
