to_o save_v their_o bodily_a life_n for_o a_o time_n with_o the_o woeful_a loss_n both_o of_o body_n and_o soul_n for_o ever_o or_o else_o because_o they_o believe_v not_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n make_v to_o our_o prayer_n and_o therefore_o be_v discourage_v from_o pray_v and_o become_v desperate_a as_o though_o it_o will_v nothing_o avail_v they_o to_o call_v upon_o god_n 21.15_o 4._o the_o four_o and_o last_o thing_n to_o be_v consider_v be_v the_o time_n when_o we_o be_v to_o pray_v unto_o god_n 5.17_o we_o be_v to_o pray_v always_o and_o without_o cease_v but_o especial_o as_o here_o we_o be_v direct_v in_o the_o day_n of_o trouble_n and_o that_o for_o these_o reason_n first_o because_o our_o prayer_n then_o be_v most_o necessary_a for_o than_o we_o feel_v and_o feeling_n do_v confess_v that_o god_n help_n be_v so_o necessary_a for_o we_o as_o that_o we_o utter_o be_v undo_v unless_o the_o lord_n do_v help_v and_o succour_v us._n 143._o unto_o thou_o o_o lord_n say_v body_n as_o sickness_n infirmity_n hurt_n or_o wound_n or_o in_o our_o good_n as_o poverty_n want_n loss_n debt_n or_o in_o our_o good_a name_n as_o infamy_n by_o evil_a report_n or_o slander_n or_o in_o those_o that_o belong_v unto_o we_o as_o wife_n child_n and_o servant_n to_o other_o as_o to_o our_o kindred_n friend_n acquaintance_n neighbour_n countryman_n brethren_n in_o christ_n as_o all_o christian_n be_v to_o be_v esteem_v of_o we_o though_o foreigner_n in_o respect_n of_o place_n and_o in_o respect_n of_o affection_n not_o well_o mind_v to_o we_o for_o such_o a_o sympathy_n there_o ought_v to_o be_v betwixt_o those_o that_o be_v member_n of_o the_o same_o body_n politic_a but_o much_o more_o of_o the_o same_o mystical_a body_n of_o christ_n especial_o when_o other_o respect_n tender_a compassion_n of_o their_o grief_n to_o commend_v their_o cause_n to_o god_n in_o our_o prayer_n david_n when_o those_o who_o indeed_o be_v his_o enemy_n be_v afflict_v he_o humble_v himself_o he_o may_v teach_v we_o obedience_n by_o those_o thing_n which_o we_o suffer_v 5.8_o 5._o that_o he_o may_v wean_v our_o soul_n from_o worldly_a desire_n 6._o that_o he_o may_v exercise_v and_o strengthen_v our_o faith_n and_o patience_n well_o then_o call_v thyself_o to_o a_o account_n thou_o which_o think_v it_o so_o long_o till_o thou_o be_v deliver_v first_o be_v thou_o not_o yet_o reject_v the_o effectual_a prayer_n of_o a_o faithful_a man_n but_o always_o hear_v the_o same_o gracious_o if_o not_o according_a to_o his_o desire_n yet_o according_a to_o his_o profit_n yea_o that_o he_o always_o grant_v it_o if_o it_o be_v right_o conceive_v for_o as_o we_o be_v to_o ask_v spiritual_a grace_n necessary_a to_o salvation_n absolute_o so_o we_o be_v to_o believe_v absolute_o that_o god_n will_v grant_v the_o same_o unto_o we_o yea_o this_o be_v a_o certain_a and_o comfortable_a truth_n that_o whosoever_o have_v thus_o much_o grace_n true_o and_o earnest_o to_o desire_v
