whereas_o say_v the_o apostle_n some_o be_v hungry_a and_o other_o intemperate_a and_o drunken_a this_o they_o be_v tax_v with_o in_o the_o 22._o ver._n what_o say_v he_o have_v you_o not_o house_n to_o eat_v and_o to_o drink_v in_o they_o make_v little_a or_o no_o difference_n between_o these_o love-feast_n and_o the_o lord_n supper_n at_o the_o close_a of_o they_o between_o these_o sacred_a symbol_n of_o our_o lord_n body_n and_o blood_n and_o common_a food_n and_o drink_n they_o be_v in_o the_o house_n and_o worship_n of_o god_n just_a as_o in_o their_o own_o and_o make_v no_o distinction_n between_o this_o and_o a_o common_a meal_n nay_o it_o be_v worse_o they_o turn_v this_o ordinance_n into_o a_o drunken_a club_n or_o a_o riotous_a entertainment_n make_v it_o a_o instrument_n and_o occasion_n of_o debauchery_n this_o be_v eat_v and_o drink_v unworthy_o indeed_o and_o no_o wonder_n if_o god_n do_v so_o severe_o punish_v they_o for_o it_o the_o apostle_n judas_n tax_v these_o love-feast_n verse_n 12._o but_o there_o be_v no_o danger_n of_o such_o excess_n at_o the_o lord_n table_n now_o or_o of_o eat_v and_o drink_v unworthy_o in_o the_o same_o manner_n as_o the_o corinthian_n do_v 3._o if_o we_o take_v damnation_n for_o eternal_a punishment_n which_o unworthy_a receive_v do_v without_o repentance_n expose_v to_o yet_o consider_v that_o the_o wage_n of_o every_o sin_n be_v eternal_a death_n and_o you_o have_v the_o same_o reason_n to_o be_v afraid_a of_o other_o sin_n because_o you_o run_v the_o same_o hazard_n the_o sacrifice_n of_o the_o wicked_a man_n to_o damnation_n without_o the_o sacrament_n as_o with_o it_o and_o they_o can_v fair_o urge_v the_o fear_n of_o damnation_n against_o come_v to_o it_o who_o be_v not_o restrain_v thereby_o latter_a shall_v one_o day_n be_v ashamed_a of_o their_o fear_n as_o the_o former_a of_o their_o hope_n the_o lord_n know_v who_o be_v his_o when_o many_o that_o be_v his_o do_v not_o know_v it_o themselves_o and_o if_o a_o minister_n of_o christ_n will_v ask_v a_o few_o home_n close_a question_n of_o such_o doubt_v tremble_a christian_n by_o which_o their_o hearty_a consent_n to_o the_o covenant_n may_v be_v judge_v of_o their_o answer_n plain_o show_v that_o they_o believe_v in_o christ_n and_o love_v he_o above_o all_o the_o world_n and_o regard_v no_o iniquity_n in_o their_o heart_n and_o yet_o will_v continue_v to_o doubt_v of_o their_o integrity_n though_o the_o bend_v of_o their_o heart_n and_o the_o endeavour_n of_o their_o life_n do_v abundant_o prove_v that_o they_o of_o the_o sanctify_a spirit_n there_o and_o so_o have_v rejoice_v in_o ourselves_o and_o not_o in_o another_o it_o be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v unlawful_a to_o collect_v comfort_n from_o the_o mark_n penitent_a christian_a though_o he_o want_v assurance_n be_v accept_v of_o god_n and_o have_v right_o to_o this_o ordinance_n whether_o he_o believe_v it_o or_o no._n if_o you_o unfeigned_o consent_v to_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o with_o a_o humble_a penitent_a sense_n of_o your_o past_a sin_n be_v willing_a and_o desirous_a to_o close_v with_o christ_n on_o the_o term_n of_o the_o
