not_o to_o be_v use_v in_o it_o second_o those_o gesture_n in_o public_a that_o be_v of_o bad_a example_n to_o other_o be_v not_o to_o be_v use_v but_o sit_v lie_v along_o or_o be_v cover_v be_v of_o bad_a example_n to_o other_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o to_o be_v use_v in_o prayer_n now_o although_o it_o be_v my_o purpose_n to_o make_v a_o general_a application_n of_o all_o in_o the_o close_a yet_o observe_v that_o many_o in_o the_o congregation_n be_v defective_a in_o the_o gesture_n of_o prayer_n give_v i_o leave_v to_o speak_v a_o few_o word_n by_o way_n of_o use_n to_o this_o before_o i_o pass_v to_o the_o next_o thing_n propound_v and_o 1._o for_o reprehension_n 2._o for_o exhortation_n first_o by_o way_n of_o reprehension_n reprehension_n 1._o use_v reprehension_n be_v kneeling_z lift_v up_o the_o hand_n and_o eye_n and_o be_v bareheaded_a command_v and_o commend_v in_o scripture_n as_o gesture_n requisite_a in_o prayer_n tell_v i_o then_o do_v not_o those_o deserve_v to_o be_v reprove_v that_o neglect_n these_o gesture_n or_o use_v the_o contrary_a that_o instead_o of_o use_v these_o gesture_n they_o sit_v or_o lie_v along_o and_o be_v with_o their_o hat_n half_o off_o and_o half_a on_o be_v not_o these_o lazy_a and_o irreverent_a posture_n more_o fit_a for_o those_o that_o give_v themselves_o to_o sleep_v than_o those_o that_o set_v themselves_o to_o prayer_n if_o any_o of_o your_o child_n shall_v great_o offend_v you_o and_o then_o come_v and_o sit_v down_o before_o you_o or_o lie_v along_o or_o be_v with_o their_o hat_n half_o off_o and_o half_o on_o and_o ask_v you_o forgiveness_n will_v you_o not_o be_v displease_v with_o they_o and_o condemn_v their_o want_n of_o reverence_n belove_a we_o ought_v to_o come_v to_o god_n as_o a_o father_n but_o if_o we_o come_v to_o he_o with_o irreverent_a posture_n may_v he_o not_o say_v unto_o we_o 1.6_o mal._n 1.6_o if_o i_o be_v a_o father_n where_o be_v my_o honour_n more_o reverence_n become_v child_n to_o their_o father_n can_v your_o conscience_n serve_v you_o to_o use_v less_o reverence_n to_o god_n than_o you_o will_v use_v to_o man_n think_v of_o it_o second_o for_o exhortation_n exhortation_n 2_o use_n exhortation_n i_o beseech_v you_o be_v exhort_v to_o use_v more_o reverence_n in_o prayer_n god_n be_v great_o to_o be_v fear_v in_o the_o assembly_n of_o the_o saint_n 89.7_o psal_n 89.7_o and_o to_o be_v have_v in_o reverence_n of_o all_o that_o be_v about_o he_o if_o thou_o have_v grace_n it_o will_v teach_v thou_o to_o serve_v god_n reverent_o therefore_o 12.28_o heb._n 12.28_o let_v we_o have_v grace_n whereby_o we_o may_v serve_v god_n with_o reverence_n and_o godly_a fear_n god_n accept_v not_o of_o that_o service_n that_o be_v not_o reverent_o perform_v he_o therefore_o that_o and_o beseech_v you_o for_o time_n to_o come_v use_v not_o such_o irreverent_a posture_n in_o prayer_n as_o if_o you_o scorn_v the_o ordinance_n but_o let_v the_o outward_a posture_n
