describe_v the_o scandal_n which_o they_o say_v will_v be_v take_v at_o their_o read_n of_o the_o common-prayer_n and_o make_v it_o consist_v in_o two_o particular_n 1._o that_o people_n will_v scorn_v and_o vilify_v they_o and_o withdraw_v themselves_o from_o communion_n with_o they_o and_o 2._o that_o they_o will_v be_v encourage_v by_o the_o example_n of_o these_o minister_n to_o do_v the_o like_a although_o not_o convince_v of_o the_o lawfulness_n of_o so_o do_v and_o so_o sin_n against_o their_o own_o conscience_n but_o i_o reply_v to_o they_o thus_o as_o for_o the_o first_o part_n of_o the_o scandal_n suppose_v that_o you_o be_v satisfy_v of_o the_o lawfulness_n of_o use_v the_o common-prayer_n and_o have_v nothing_o to_o say_v against_o it_o but_o the_o scandal_n as_o the_o supposition_n be_v make_v by_o yourselves_o upon_o this_o argument_n i_o say_v suppose_v yourselves_o thus_o satisfy_v than_o the_o people_n have_v more_o cause_n to_o vilify_v you_o and_o withdraw_v themselves_o from_o your_o communion_n on_o the_o other_o hand_n for_o disobey_v those_o to_o who_o god_n have_v command_v you_o to_o submit_v yourselves_o this_o have_v evident_o more_o appearance_n of_o evil_n in_o it_o then_o the_o other_o i_o mean_v disobedience_n have_v much_o more_o appearance_n of_o evil_n in_o it_o then_o obedience_n and_o consequent_o be_v much_o more_o scandalous_a in_o its_o natural_a tendency_n and_o more_o apt_a to_o give_v offence_n of_o this_o first_o kind_n that_o be_v to_o procure_v a_o disrepute_n and_o contempt_n among_o man_n who_o stand_v not_o on_o their_o head_n and_o have_v not_o their_o optic_n invert_v may_v be_v man_n will_v take_v a_o pretence_n from_o your_o conformity_n to_o call_v you_o time-servers_a man_n pleaser_n and_o the_o like_a but_o they_o may_v much_o more_o reasonable_o take_v a_o occasion_n from_o your_o nonconformity_n suppose_v yourselves_o be_v satisfy_v of_o the_o lawfulness_n of_o conformity_n be_v it_o
