and_o the_o rest_n of_o these_o evidence_n and_o argument_n prove_v that_o he_o be_v not_o a_o hypocrite_n they_o be_v thus_o to_o be_v understand_v that_o where_o those_o evidence_n be_v contrary_a to_o these_o character_n of_o the_o hypocrite_n they_o do_v infallible_o conclude_v a_o man_n not_o to_o be_v a_o hypocrite_n yet_o if_o some_o weak_a seeker_n of_o god_n find_v those_o want_v in_o some_o of_o their_o measure_n and_o degree_n and_o at_o some_o time_n it_o shall_v be_v remember_v that_o every_o real_a saint_n be_v not_o a_o job_n nor_o can_v produce_v such_o eminent_a work_n of_o grace_n and_o sincerity_n as_o he_o have_v nor_o wâ—ll_n real_a saint_n be_v measure_v by_o their_o infirmity_n or_o sit_v of_o weakness_n not_o by_o the_o emanation_n of_o their_o flesh_n if_o they_o renounce_v and_o mourn_v for_o they_o as_o on_o the_o contrary_a hypocrite_n will_v not_o be_v judge_v by_o that_o stupidity_n which_o they_o may_v have_v in_o trouble_n instead_o of_o faith_n and_o signify_v also_o one_o that_o be_v profane_a to_o show_v that_o god_n look_v upon_o every_o hypocrite_n as_o such_o a_o one_o however_o he_o mask_v his_o wickedness_n 2._o hypocrisy_n and_o covetousness_n of_o love_v of_o gain_n be_v evil_n which_o frequent_o concur_v and_o go_v together_o for_o the_o hypocrite_n here_o be_v he_o that_o have_v gain_v not_o that_o every_o covetous_a wretch_n put_v on_o a_o mask_n of_o profession_n but_o that_o hypocrite_n make_v use_v of_o a_o cloak_n of_o religion_n only_o for_o their_o own_o advantage_n see_v matth._n 23.14_o 1_o tim._n 6.5_o enjoyment_n be_v so_o empty_a especial_o to_o godly_a man_n that_o even_o hypocrite_n pretend_v to_o the_o hope_n of_o godly_a man_n as_o they_o pretend_v to_o their_o piety_n see_v 1_o cor._n 15.19_o 5._o the_o hypocrite_n may_v be_v so_o bolster_v up_o with_o prosperity_n that_o he_o may_v live_v in_o a_o presumptuous_a dream_n of_o hope_n even_o till_o his_o death_n which_o be_v a_o sad_a answer_v we_o in_o what_o may_v be_v for_o our_o profit_n and_o what_o may_v contribute_v to_o our_o great_a and_o ultimate_a scope_n to_o glorify_v god_n and_o be_v fit_v for_o our_o eternal_a a_o great_a mercy_n to_o the_o people_n of_o god_n that_o their_o tentation_n prove_v not_o real_a for_o though_o job_n ofttimes_o judge_v that_o god_n do_v not_o hear_v he_o yet_o here_o he_o reckon_v that_o it_o be_v but_o a_o tentation_n and_o that_o only_o the_o hypocrite_n be_v not_o real_o hear_v in_o trouble_n 9_o god_n can_v make_v good_a use_n of_o the_o opposition_n godly_a man_n meet_v with_o from_o other_o to_o cure_v their_o own_o tentation_n for_o whereas_o job_n when_o he_o be_v upon_o his_o own_o complaint_n regrate_v that_o god_n do_v not_o hear_v he_o now_o when_o he_o speak_v in_o opposition_n to_o their_o censure_n he_o believe_v the_o contrary_a and_o leave_v that_o wretched_a portion_n to_o the_o hypocrite_n sâ—e_v ps_n 22.4_o 5_o 6_o 7_o 8_o with_o 9_o 10._o however_o it_o be_v as_o to_o the_o answer_v of_o prayer_n yet_o it_o be_v a_o mark_n of_o a_o godly_a man_n to_o love_v god_n hear_v of_o his_o prayer_n and_o to_o be_v in_o such_o a_o state_n and_o posture_n as_o god_n may_v hear_v he_o for_o job_n hate_v hypocrisy_n because_o a_o hypocrite_n will_v not_o be_v hear_v in_o trouble_n and_o so_o prove_v himself_o a_o godly_a man_n because_o he_o hate_v their_o course_n upon_o this_o account_n it_o be_v true_a even_a hypocrite_n may_v love_v to_o be_v hear_v when_o they_o be_v in_o trouble_n but_o there_o be_v a_o great_a difference_n betwixt_o a_o godly_a man_n and_o they_o in_o that_o for_o 1._o a_o godly_a man_n love_v still_o to_o be_v in_o such_o a_o frame_n as_o he_o may_v be_v hear_v of_o god_n because_o his_o life_n and_o satisfaction_n depend_v upon_o it_o and_o it_o endear_v god_n to_o he_o that_o he_o be_v a_o hearer_n of_o prayer_n ps_n 65.2_o 2._o he_o employ_v god_n much_o and_o frequent_o that_o he_o may_v get_v many_o proof_n of_o god_n hear_v of_o he_o and_o be_v afflict_v when_o he_o want_v either_o opportunity_n of_o prayer_n or_o be_v not_o receive_v answer_n from_o god_n 3._o he_o be_v careful_a to_o walk_v tender_o that_o he_o may_v not_o obstruct_v the_o answer_n of_o his_o prayer_n none_o of_o all_o which_o do_v agree_v to_o the_o hypocrite_n nor_o to_o his_o desire_n to_o be_v hear_v in_o trouble_n verse_n 10._o will_v he_o delight_v himself_o in_o the_o almighty_a will_v he_o always_o call_v upon_o god_n in_o this_o verse_n job_n give_v two_o evidence_n more_o that_o he_o be_v not_o and_o multitude_n of_o duty_n which_o require_v furniture_n and_o assistance_n from_o above_o that_o satan_n be_v tempt_v and_o
they_o be_v continual_o sin_v and_o so_o need_v continual_a pardon_n and_o renovation_n and_o that_o frequency_n in_o prayer_n bring_v much_o ease_n and_o soul-refreshment_n if_o i_o say_v man_n consider_v these_o thing_n they_o will_v perceive_v that_o it_o be_v a_o equitable_a injunction_n that_o man_n shall_v always_o call_v upon_o god_n and_o therefore_o it_o shall_v be_v the_o care_n of_o godly_a man_n to_o keep_v themselves_o continual_o in_o a_o spiritual_a and_o pray_a frame_n to_o cherish_v this_o frame_n by_o frequent_a ejaculation_n which_o need_v hinder_v no_o other_o duty_n of_o their_o call_n not_o to_o neglect_v fix_v time_n for_o prayer_n beside_o occasional_a opportunity_n which_o providence_n bring_v in_o their_o way_n to_o double_v their_o diligence_n upon_o eminent_a occasion_n as_o psal_n 109.4_o luke_n 22.44_o not_o manage_v singular_a difficulty_n with_o ordinary_a diligence_n and_o to_o look_v upon_o prayer_n as_o their_o duty_n in_o all_o time_n when_o it_o wear_v out_o of_o fashion_n and_o be_v malign_v by_o the_o most_o of_o man_n as_o well_o as_o when_o it_o be_v in_o request_n and_o bring_v a_o man_n into_o esteem_n and_o in_o all_o condition_n neither_o think_v their_o condition_n so_o good_a or_o at_o least_o so_o tolerable_a as_o they_o need_v not_o trouble_n god_n about_o it_o but_o can_v manage_v it_o themselves_o nor_o yet_o so_o desperate_a as_o it_o be_v to_o no_o purpose_n to_o pray_v 3._o hypocrite_n will_v not_o make_v conscience_n of_o this_o command_n to_o pray_v always_o but_o either_o when_o they_o be_v free_a of_o eminent_a trouble_n or_o when_o they_o be_v desperate_a and_o hopeless_a under_o trouble_n they_o will_v give_v over_o for_o will_v he_o always_o call_v upon_o god_n 4._o such_o as_o weary_a of_o prayer_n and_o give_v it_o over_o do_v not_o delight_v in_o god_n let_v they_o pretend_v what_o they_o will_v for_o the_o one_o of_o these_o evidence_n confirm_v the_o other_o and_o it_o prove_v that_o the_o hypocrite_n do_v not_o delight_v himself_o in_o the_o almighty_a because_o he_o do_v not_o always_o call_v upon_o god_n 5._o such_o as_o be_v not_o constant_a in_o prayer_n but_o do_v weary_a of_o it_o be_v just_o deny_v audience_n when_o at_o sometime_o they_o come_v to_o god_n for_o this_o be_v also_o a_o reason_n why_o god_n will_v not_o hear_v the_o hypocrite_n cry_v v._o 9_o because_o say_v he_o will_v he_o always_o call_v upon_o god_n 6._o such_o as_o continue_v constant_a in_o prayer_n in_o all_o time_n and_o condition_n do_v prove_v that_o they_o do_v delight_n in_o god_n and_o be_v sincere_a person_n who_o request_n god_n will_v answer_v in_o his_o own_o time_n and_o way_n for_o this_o be_v job_n scope_n to_o prove_v himself_o a_o sincere_a man_n by_o disclaim_v this_o among_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o character_n of_o a_o hypocrite_n verse_n 11._o i_o will_v teach_v you_o by_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n that_o which_o be_v with_o the_o almighty_a will_v i_o not_o conceal_v 12._o behold_v all_o you_o yourselves_o have_v see_v it_o why_o then_o be_v you_o thus_o altogether_o vain_a these_o verse_n be_v by_o some_o understand_v as_o a_o subsumption_n to_o the_o former_a general_a character_n of_o the_o hypocrite_n wherein_o as_o they_o conceive_v job_n undertake_v to_o give_v a_o account_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o himself_o
