in_o his_o soul_n but_o confess_v it_o to_o god_n and_o have_v his_o heart_n stir_v up_o to_o a_o high_a degree_n of_o indignation_n against_o it_o this_o be_v the_o duty_n yea_o and_o endeavour_v of_o all_o that_o will_v prove_v their_o heart_n upright_o before_o god_n man_n may_v forbear_v the_o outward_a act_n of_o their_o reign_a sin_n for_o a_o time_n from_o carnal_a or_o mere_o legal_a ground_n and_o principle_n yet_o not_o loathe_v they_o but_o still_o have_v a_o like_n to_o they_o and_o when_o they_o do_v fall_v into_o they_o not_o grieve_v aright_o nor_o groan_n under_o they_o you_o do_v not_o in_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o text_n keep_v yourselves_o from_o your_o iniquity_n if_o upon_o foil_n by_o they_o you_o do_v not_o speedy_o repent_v of_o they_o confess_v bewail_v they_o believe_v and_o pray_v against_o they_o and_o have_v not_o your_o heart_n fill_v with_o great_a hatred_n of_o they_o but_o he_o do_v keep_v himself_o from_o his_o iniquity_n so_o far_o as_o to_o approve_v his_o uprightness_n who_o though_o he_o may_v sometime_o yea_o too_o often_o be_v guilty_a of_o some_o act_n of_o it_o yet_o it_o be_v the_o constant_a burden_n of_o his_o soul_n so_o that_o he_o groan_v under_o it_o and_o be_v in_o bitterness_n of_o soul_n for_o it_o look_v on_o christ_n as_o pierce_v by_o it_o he_o exercise_v faith_n on_o christ_n wrestle_v with_o god_n in_o prayer_n and_o his_o heart_n be_v more_o set_v against_o this_o his_o sin_n so_o that_o whereas_o it_o have_v be_v peculiar_o love_v and_o delight_v in_o before_o in_o his_o unregenerate_a state_n or_o be_v more_o tickle_v of_o and_o please_v to_o the_o unregenerate_a part_n even_o after_o conversion_n he_o now_o come_v to_o have_v his_o heart_n more_o set_v upon_o the_o mortification_n of_o it_o so_o as_o to_o offer_v a_o holy_a violence_n to_o it_o this_o be_v for_o man_n to_o keep_v themselves_o from_o their_o iniquity_n for_o there_o must_v be_v a_o holy_a violence_n use_v against_o these_o special_a sin_n for_o though_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o regenerate_a part_n be_v willing_a yet_o the_o flesh_n be_v weak_a yea_o wiful_a and_o must_v be_v keep_v under_o iv_o to_o be_v upright_o and_o prove_v that_o uprightness_n by_o man_n keep_n themselves_o from_o their_o iniquity_n it_o be_v to_o watch_v against_o these_o sin_n in_o a_o especial_a manner_n and_o all_o the_o occasion_n and_o the_o very_a appearance_n of_o these_o evil_n and_o to_o resist_v the_o very_a first_o motion_n and_o rise_n of_o they_o in_o the_o heart_n and_o to_o use_v all_o the_o mean_v god_n have_v in_o his_o word_n appoint_v and_o direct_v to_o for_o the_o mortification_n of_o they_o to_o use_v and_o improve_v all_o duty_n and_o ordinance_n the_o word_n sacrament_n prayer_n fast_v join_v with_o prayer_n and_o communion_n of_o saint_n yea_o all_o public_a private_a and_o secret_a duty_n to_o this_o end_n this_o be_v for_o man_n to_o keep_v themselves_o from_o their_o iniquity_n he_o integrity_n and_o if_o any_o whole_o neglect_v to_o avoid_v occasion_n of_o sin_n or_o to_o use_v the_o mean_n to_o mortify_v these_o sin_n he_o be_v not_o upright_o at_o all_o but_o he_o that_o do_v these_o thing_n avoid_v occasion_n of_o sin_n and_o due_o use_v and_o improve_v the_o institute_v mean_n for_o mortify_v of_o it_o be_v upright_o and_o these_o particular_n may_v seem_v as_o mark_v to_o try_v yourselves_o by_o v._o i_o proceed_v now_o in_o the_o next_o place_n to_o give_v the_o reason_n of_o the_o doctrine_n and_o i._o one_o reason_n why_o it_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o every_o
