stands_z as_o a_o screen_n betwixt_o everlasting_a burn_v and_o this_o piece_n of_o dry_a stubble_n as_o in_o itself_o consider_v and_o so_o roll_a himself_o upon_o this_o one_o mediator_n and_o cleave_v as_o fast_o to_o he_o as_o his_o heart_n cleave_v to_o his_o sin_n we_o think_v we_o have_v make_v sufficient_a proof_n that_o a_o wicked_a man_n ought_v not_o to_o say_v this_o prayer_n towards_o his_o curse_n meet_v it_o as_o it_o be_v half_a way_n we_o have_v read_v how_o he_o curse_v himself_o by_o call_v christ_n accurse_v and_o how_o he_o have_v draw_v upon_o himself_o swift_a destruction_n and_o we_o have_v be_v the_o long_o at_o this_o point_n that_o all_o that_o see_v this_o man_n with_o his_o curse_n upon_o he_o clothe_v with_o it_o as_o with_o a_o garment_n eat_v his_o meat_n as_o be_v say_v as_o a_o swine_n do_v he_o roll_v up_o in_o dirt_n may_v see_v and_o fly_v away_o as_o he_o will_v do_v that_o hear_v and_o fear_n and_o will_v no_o more_o presumptuous_o call_v god_n father_n as_o the_o wicked_a man_n do_v while_n with_o a_o high_a hand_n and_o a_o uncovered_a head_n he_o act_v villainy_n against_o the_o lord_n we_o will_v close_v this_o with_o worthy_a manton's_n word_n i_o have_v read_v of_o a_o jewel_n say_v he_o that_o be_v put_v into_o a_o 16._o upon_o james_n 5._o 16._o dead_a man_n mouth_n lose_v all_o its_o efficacy_n prayer_n be_v such_o a_o make_v enquiry_n into_o the_o second_o question_n whether_o our_o bless_a saviour_n give_v his_o disciple_n this_o prayer_n that_o they_o shall_v pray_v to_o his_o father_n in_o those_o very_a word_n the_o affirmative_a be_v much_o plead_v for_o but_o general_o and_o usual_o by_o those_o who_o be_v enemy_n to_o the_o cross_n of_o christ_n adversary_n to_o all_o goodness_n and_o not_o acquaint_v at_o all_o what_o prayer_n in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n mean_v we_o say_v it_o again_o because_o we_o will_v not_o be_v mistake_v the_o affirmative_a be_v general_o and_o universal_o plead_v for_o by_o such_o kind_n of_o man_n who_o cleave_v as_o fast_o to_o their_o form_n as_o sin_n cleave_v to_o they_o or_o they_o to_o their_o sin_n and_o they_o bear_v themselves_o out_o at_o this_o point_n from_o these_o word_n of_o our_o bless_a saviour_n when_o you_o pray_v say_v but_o indeed_o it_o be_v not_o much_o to_o be_v mind_v what_o such_o manner_n of_o person_n say_v who_o will_v catch_v at_o any_o thing_n that_o may_v make_v for_o their_o present_a ease_n and_o put_v the_o flesh_n to_o no_o câ—st_n yet_o it_o be_v to_o be_v regard_v what_o any_o good_a man_n say_v learned_a and_o godly_a and_o thus_o as_o we_o have_v hear_v worthy_a hold_v say_n our_o bless_a saviour_n praescribe_v to_o his_o disciple_n a_o form_n of_o prayer_n for_o they_o to_o say_v by_o tie_v themselves_o to_o the_o very_a word_n of_o it_o have_v he_o attempt_v the_o proof_n of_o this_o assertion_n perhaps_o he_o will_v have_v find_v it_o a_o more_o difficult_a undertake_n than_o bare_o to_o affirm_v it_o so_o that_o excellent_a man_n speak_v upon_o a_o different_a account_n who_o word_n be_v so_o much_o in_o our_o heart_n that_o they_o must_v needs_o be_v much_o in_o our_o mouth_n we_o will_v tell_v our_o persuasion_n here_o that_o a_o man_n shall_v not_o ready_o meet_v with_o such_o like_o a_o expression_n in_o any_o godly_a man_n writing_n and_o we_o think_v it_o our_o duty_n to_o set_v it_o down_o that_o we_o may_v wrest_v it_o what_o we_o can_v out_o of_o their_o hand_n who_o be_v unlearned_a and_o unstable_a and_o do_v wrest_v word_n such_o word_n as_o these_o as_o they_o do_v all_o other_o scripture_n to_o their_o own_o destruction_n so_o we_o will_v now_o endeavour_v to_o evince_v the_o negative_a that_o our_o bless_a saviour_n do_v not_o give_v this_o prayer_n
