affair_n such_o be_v the_o admission_n or_o refusal_n of_o the_o pope_n bull_n or_o brief_n and_o consequent_o whether_o the_o present_a catholic_n of_o england_n ought_v to_o have_v the_o same_o certain_o no_o body_n will_v say_v that_o we_o have_v the_o same_o obligation_n to_o depend_v of_o governor_n who_o be_v rebel_n in_o order_n to_o civil_a concern_v as_o of_o those_o that_o be_v faithful_a or_o that_o there_o ought_v to_o be_v the_o same_o liberty_n to_o treat_v with_o person_n infect_v as_o with_o person_n who_o be_v not_o infect_v it_o be_v no_o absurdity_n for_o the_o ancient_a catholic_n of_o england_n to_o make_v their_o application_n to_o their_o catholic_n prince_n for_o leave_v to_o get_v such_o a_o grant_n from_o the_o pope_n whereas_o now_o it_o will_v seem_v very_o absurd_a shall_v they_o make_v any_o such_o application_n to_o his_o majesty_n for_o though_o we_o do_v acknowledge_v ourselves_o to_o be_v as_o much_o bind_v to_o obey_v his_o majesty_n in_o all_o civil_a and_o temporal_a concern_v as_o the_o ancient_a catholic_n be_v bind_v to_o obey_v their_o respective_a catholic_n prince_n yet_o hence_o it_o do_v not_o follow_v that_o we_o be_v the_o ancient_a english_a catholic_n do_v depend_v of_o their_o prince_n 12._o consider_v last_o that_o in_o the_o abovementioned_a statute_n of_o richard_n the_o second_o express_v mention_n be_v make_v of_o the_o sentence_n of_o excommunication_n yet_o all_o catholic_n even_o those_o who_o deny_v the_o pope_n to_o have_v any_o power_n to_o depose_v king_n do_v unanimous_o grant_v he_o a_o power_n to_o excommunicate_a king_n if_o they_o become_v heretic_n and_o remain_v obstinate_a nay_o king_n james_n refuse_v to_o oblige_v his_o catholic_n subject_n to_o renounce_v such_o a_o power_n in_o the_o pope_n now_o according_a to_o this_o objection_n no_o sentence_n of_o excommunication_n fulminate_v against_o any_o english_a king_n the_o same_o be_v of_o any_o of_o his_o subject_n be_v ineffectual_a for_o the_o end_v pretend_v since_o protestant_n will_v not_o therefore_o have_v a_o better_a opinion_n of_o our_o religion_n but_o worse_a opinion_n of_o catholic_n who_o take_v the_o
