for_o his_o consideration_n he_o be_v above_o low_a person_n and_o thing_n in_o his_o thought_n he_o can_v look_v upon_o any_o thing_n below_o he_o with_o any_o other_o eye_n then_o a_o eye_n of_o scorn_n as_o the_o proud_a pharisee_fw-mi upon_o the_o poor_a publican_n this_o practice_n in_o proud_a man_n &_o woman_n do_v better_a discover_v itself_o then_o any_o pen_n can_v do_v it_o but_o to_o such_o i_o shall_v also_o give_v the_o apostle_n two_o question_n who_o make_v thou_o to_o differ_v and_o what_o have_v thou_o that_o thou_o do_v not_o receive_v and_o when_o they_o shall_v be_v answer_v i_o believe_v both_o the_o principle_n and_o this_o practice_n of_o pride_n will_v be_v root_v out_o of_o the_o heart_n when_o the_o soul_n be_v make_v to_o confess_v that_o god_n make_v it_o to_o differ_v and_o it_o have_v receive_v all_o its_o excellency_n from_o god_n it_o will_v then_o scorn_v none_o below_o itself_o but_o by_o such_o a_o object_n consider_v from_o what_o god_n have_v raise_v it_o and_o admire_v that_o power_n and_o goodness_n which_o have_v bestow_v excellency_n upon_o it_o pity_v not_o scorn_v any_o below_o itself_o four_o a_o proud_a man_n when_o he_o have_v any_o power_n will_v soon_o be_v impose_v beyond_o the_o just_a limit_n of_o his_o power_n a_o proud_a manis_fw-la in_o nothing_o more_o discover_v then_o by_o his_o imposition_n it_o be_v the_o pride_n of_o his_o heart_n put_v his_o power_n upon_o impose_v else_o say_v that_o heart_n my_o power_n will_v not_o be_v know_v now_o when_o pride_n set_v power_n on_o work_n it_o carry_v it_o quick_o beyond_o its_o bound_n pride_n be_v a_o swell_a lust_n very_o hard_o to_o be_v bind_v but_o where_o it_o be_v chief_a in_o the_o heart_n and_o give_v rule_v to_o the_o power_n which_o it_o in_o the_o hand_n that_o hand_n and_o heart_n soon_o forget_v it_o bound_n we_o have_v a_o example_n of_o this_o in_o the_o decree_n of_o darius_n the_o king_n daniel_n 6._o his_o pride_n though_o his_o power_n have_v nobound_v because_o he_o be_v king_n therefore_o he_o make_v a_o decree_n according_a to_o the_o advice_n of_o his_o wicked_a council_n which_o be_v suitable_a to_o his_o own_o proud_a heart_n that_o whosoever_o shall_v ask_v a_o petition_n of_o any_o god_n or_o man_n for_o thirty_o day_n save_v of_o himself_o shall_v be_v cast_v into_o the_o lion_n den._n the_o ground_n of_o this_o decree_n be_v to_o make_v a_o snare_n for_o daniel_n who_o they_o confess_v in_o the_o four_o verse_n to_o be_v faithful_a to_o the_o kingdom_n and_o that_o they_o have_v no_o hope_n though_o they_o seek_v to_o destroy_v he_o but_o they_o know_v he_o be_v as_o faithful_a to_o his_o god_n as_o to_o the_o kingdom_n so_o that_o if_o a_o decree_n be_v make_v against_o his_o worship_v of_o god_n that_o will_v reach_v he_o i_o shall_v forbear_v to_o open_v this_o scripture_n in_o this_o place_n because_o it_o be_v not_o so_o proper_a to_o the_o thing_n in_o hand_n though_o i_o believe_v the_o do_n of_o it_o will_v open_v the_o heart_n and_o practice_n of_o many_o man_n in_o our_o day_n but_o only_o make_v use_n of_o it_o thus_o far_o to_o prove_v that_o pride_n in_o man_n of_o power_n make_v they_o to_o impose_v beyond_o their_o power_n to_o set_v themselves_o above_o god_n and_o make_v decree_n against_o god_n in_o stead_n of_o defend_v the_o praiseworthy_a to_o make_v law_n against_o that_o which_o be_v praiseworthy_a because_o god_n have_v set_v or_o suffer_v they_o to_o be_v in_o the_o throne_n among_o man_n they_o put_v forth_o their_o power_n into_o the_o throne_n of_o god_n namely_o the_o conscience_n of_o his_o people_n that_o power_n which_o pride_n set_v to_o work_v stick_v at_o no_o decree_n if_o man_n that_o will_v lay_v snare_n for_o the_o people_n of_o god_n to_o destoy_n they_o come_v and_o desire_v this_o power_n to_o make_v law_n and_o decree_n how_o god_n people_n shall_v worship_v he_o or_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o worship_v he_o at_o all_o these_o decree_n shall_v soon_o have_v their_o hand_n and_o seal_v the_o devil_n do_v make_v power_n by_o pride_n fit_a and_o ready_a to_o oppose_v any_o thing_n of_o god_n and_o to_o impose_v any_o thing_n upon_o the_o people_n of_o god_n it_o be_v the_o property_n of_o pride_n to_o seek_v the_o ruin_n of_o such_o at_o bear_v the_o image_n of_o the_o humble_a god_n now_o if_o nothing_o can_v be_v lay_v to_o their_o charge_n of_o unfaithfulnesse_n to_o the_o place_n or_o people_n where_o they_o live_v than_o a_o decree_n concern_v the_o worship_v of_o their_o god_n must_v be_v make_v to_o reach_v they_o though_o such_o as_o make_v it_o go_v beyond_o their_o power_n that_o shall_v not_o be_v stick_v at_o where_o pride_n guide_v the_o hand_n pride_n seek_v power_n to_o make_v that_o its_o servant_n that_o which_o pride_n will_v the_o power_n it_o have_v shall_v work_v power_n in_o the_o hand_n serve_v pride_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o therefore_o keep_v not_o within_o its_o bound_n because_o it_o be_v the_o servant_n of_o pride_n but_o to_o this_o also_o the_o apostle_n question_n be_v very_o proper_a who_o make_v thou_o to_o differ_v and_o what_o have_v thou_o that_o thou_o have_v not_o receive_v be_v thy_o power_n thy_o own_o or_o must_v thou_o account_v for_o it_o when_o the_o lord_n call_v his_o servant_n to_o give_v a_o account_n of_o their_o talent_n do_v thou_o differ_v in_o this_o that_o thou_o have_v more_o power_n than_o other_o tell_v i_o who_o make_v thou_o to_o differ_v be_v thy_o power_n original_o in_o thyself_o or_o do_v thou_o receive_v it_o from_o god_n thou_o will_v not_o say_v thou_o be_v thy_o own_o original_n because_o thy_o perish_a condition_n will_v disprove_v thou_o well_o then_o god_n
