teach_v we_o how_o to_o pray_v &_o by_o none_o other_o prayer_n but_o that_o prayer_n which_o christ_n have_v teach_v we_o in_o his_o holy_a gospel_n which_o prayer_n sound_v thus_o our_o father_n which_o art_n in_o heaven_n etc._n etc._n the_o son_n .13_o question_n i_o pray_v you_o sir_n be_v this_o prayer_n to_o be_v divide_v into_o part_n as_o you_o have_v do_v the_o commandment_n and_o the_o belief_n the_o father_n answer_n yea_o for_o it_o be_v divide_v into_o .6_o petition_n &_o .2_o part_n and_o in_o the_o first_o part_n be_v three_o petition_n &_o in_o the_o second_o part_n crave_v of_o god_n all_o thing_n necessary_a for_o our_o soul_n in_o the_o three_o last_o petition_n we_o ask_v of_o god_n all_o thing_n needful_a for_o our_o body_n quietness_n of_o mind_n and_o preservation_n from_o satan_n etc._n etc._n but_o as_o touch_v that_o preamble_n which_o sound_v thus_o our_o father_n which_o art_n &c_n &c_n that_o be_v none_o of_o the_o petition_n the_o son_n 14._o question_n what_o mean_v you_o by_o this_o word_n preamble_n be_v it_o not_o one_o of_o the_o .6_o petition_n as_o the_o rest_n be_v the_o father_n answer_n no_o it_o be_v no_o more_o but_o a_o faithful_a and_o reverend_a presentation_n of_o ourselves_o unto_o god_n our_o father_n in_o which_o humble_a &_o faithful_a salutation_n we_o acknowledge_v god_n to_o be_v our_o father_n and_o to_o and_o with_o all_o our_o power_n honour_n sanctify_v and_o keep_v holy_a his_o name_n that_o be_v that_o we_o abuse_v not_o his_o name_n by_o swear_v by_o it_o in_o vain_a neither_o profane_a it_o in_o any_o service_n or_o seremonie_n for_o that_o be_v sorcery_n although_o the_o ignorant_a think_v they_o do_v god_n good_a service_n and_o as_o touch_v the_o .2_o petition_n which_o sound_v thus_o thy_o kingdom_n come_v in_o this_o petition_n we_o crave_v of_o our_o good_a father_n that_o his_o kingdom_n may_v dwell_v with_o we_o and_o reign_v with_o we_o which_o kingdom_n be_v his_o holy_a sound_v thus_o give_v we_o this_o day_n our_o daily_a bread_n in_o this_o petition_n we_o crave_v all_o thing_n that_o be_v necessary_a for_o this_o life_n whatsoever_o in_o which_o also_o be_v conclude_v all_o thing_n necessary_a for_o this_o life_n both_o blessing_n spiritual_a and_o blessing_n temporal_a and_o that_o in_o any_o wise_a we_o abuse_v it_o not_o prodigal_o and_o in_o the_o five_o petition_n forgive_v we_o our_o offence_n as_o we_o do_v forgive_v they_o that_o offend_v us._n in_o which_o prayer_n we_o ask_v vengeance_n of_o god_n if_o we_o forgive_v not_o one_o another_o &_o therein_o also_o we_o show_v our_o christian_n love_n and_o chayity_n one_o towards_o a_o other_o yea_o our_o faith_n and_o fidelity_n and_o in_o the_o sixth_o and_o last_o petition_n which_o sound_v thus_o and_o lead_v we_o not_o into_o temptation_n but_o delyver_v we_o from_o evyll_n in_o this_o petition_n we_o crave_v of_o our_o good_a father_n that_o he_o will_v not_o cast_v we_o of_o from_o he_o to_o be_v torment_v of_o the_o devil_n at_o his_o malicious_a will_n and_o so_o confound_v for_o ever_o or_o give_v we_o over_o to_o our_o own_o will_n and_o pleasure_n but_o that_o we_o
