in_o all_o let_v we_o final_o conclude_v with_o humble_a thanks_n for_o all_o his_o benefit_n crave_v humble_o his_o grace_n for_o the_o chief_a necessity_n of_o our_o soul_n and_o final_o to_o consecrate_v to_o he_o all_o our_o action_n and_o suffering_n beseech_v he_o that_o we_o may_v soon_o be_v strike_v dead_a then_o to_o give_v a_o deliberate_a consent_n to_o any_o mortal_a sin_n this_o be_v a_o true_a christian_a and_o profitable_a practice_n for_o thanks_n give_v either_o after_o mass_n or_o communion_n to_o preserve_v our_o soul_n and_o body_n also_o true_a to_o god_n all_o the_o day_n after_o he_o have_v vouchsafe_v to_o take_v possession_n of_o his_o habitation_n therein_o and_o when_o negligent_a in_o this_o holy_a practice_n they_o must_v not_o marvel_v that_o after_o so_o many_o holy_a communion_n they_o remain_v with_o out_o fruit_n and_o all_o progress_n in_o virtue_n they_o neither_o aporoach_v with_o fit_a disposition_n nor_o yet_o use_v due_a thanksgiving_n afterward_o let_v we_o therefore_o resolve_v serious_o to_o amend_v this_o sinful_a ingratitude_n and_o to_o entertain_v our_o divine_a and_o souveraine_n lord_n one_o good_a quarter_n of_o a_o hour_n at_o least_o in_o that_o so_o precious_a and_o very_a advantageous_a a_o time_n wherein_o to_o hear_v he_o speak_v to_o our_o heart_n and_o for_o we_o to_o propose_v to_o he_o our_o great_a spiritual_a necessity_n and_o to_o beg_v grace_n to_o overcome_v the_o temptation_n of_o all_o our_o ghostly_a enemy_n a_o exercise_n for_o practise_v the_o act_n of_o the_o most_o necessary_a virtue_n although_o it_o be_v the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o tell_v we_o that_o by_o walk_v from_o virtue_n to_o virtue_n we_o must_v obtain_v everlasting_a life_n and_o that_o so_o many_o virtuous_a action_n as_o the_o just_a shall_v practice_v in_o this_o life_n be_v so_o many_o step_n by_o which_o they_o raise_v themselves_o to_o mount_v unto_o paradise_n yet_o how_o great_a be_v the_o number_n of_o christian_n who_o fail_v exceed_o in_o this_o point_n and_o paradventure_o in_o all_o their_o life_n scarce_o right_o frame_v in_o their_o heart_n one_o act_n of_o true_a virtue_n content_v themselves_o to_o recite_v but_o vocal_o some_o certain_a prayer_n with_o otheroutward_a religious_a duty_n which_o be_v ordinary_o void_a of_o that_o inward_a feel_n which_o ought_v to_o accompany_v the_o same_o and_o therefore_o you_o have_v here_o a_o form_n for_o make_v act_n of_o the_o most_o necessary_a virtue_n to_o assist_v such_o person_n as_o have_v most_o need_n of_o this_o instruction_n to_o form_v they_o right_o in_o their_o heart_n they_o be_v make_v for_o the_o great_a facility_n in_o the_o form_n of_o prayer_n which_o because_o in_o few_o word_n they_o express_v the_o act_n of_o those_o excellent_a virtue_n it_o will_v not_o be_v sufficient_a that_o they_o only_o recite_v they_o with_o their_o lip_n unless_o therewithal_o they_o join_v a_o diligent_a attention_n and_o that_o in_o pronounce_v the_o word_n they_o also_o well_o conceive_v what_o they_o signify_v frame_v in_o their_o heart_n the_o true_a sense_n and_o feel_n of_o what_o
but_o thou_o be_v do_v grant_v sweet_a jesus_n even_o for_o thy_o bitter_a passion_n sake_n that_o i_o may_v perform_v what_o by_o thy_o grace_n i_o have_v thus_o resolve_v humble_o fervent_o faithful_o &_o constant_o that_o my_o ghostly_a enemy_n may_v never_o have_v any_o just_a cause_n to_o reproach_v i_o for_o my_o infidelity_n therein_o amen_n act_n to_o be_v make_v in_o time_n of_o in_o occasion_n for_o the_o practice_n of_o it_o and_o by_o the_o help_n thereof_o we_o surmount_v the_o great_a difficulty_n whereas_o a_o impatient_a man_n refuse_v sinful_o to_o submit_v to_o god_n decree_n who_o be_v the_o author_n of_o all_o our_o suffering_n in_o as_o much_o as_o they_o can_v be_v resist_v he_o be_v most_o unreasonnable_a and_o by_o that_o mean_n he_o begin_v his_o hell_n be_v most_o miserable_a who_o be_v most_o impatient_a thy_o heavenly_a grace_n therefore_o o_o love_a god_n enable_v i_o to_o practice_v this_o so_o great_a a_o virtue_n and_o to_o avoid_v the_o contrary_a which_o be_v so_o dangerous_a a_o vice_n vouchsafe_v o_o gracious_a lord_n that_o i_o may_v but_o well_o reslect_v upon_o thy_o long_a great_a patience_n in_o suffer_v my_o perverse_a and_o many_o sin_n against_o thou_o and_o second_o conceive_v how_o just_o i_o have_v deserve_v to_o suffer_v far_o great_a evil_n without_o comparison_n and_o they_o too_o eternal_o and_o therefore_o what_o affliction_n soever_o shall_v befall_v i_o i_o resolve_v by_o thy_o holy_a grace_n to_o suffer_v patient_o for_o thy_o sake_n and_o in_o hopeful_a expiation_n for_o my_o sin_n act_n of_o perseverance_n it_o be_v upon_o perseverance_n my_o god_n on_o which_o depend_v the_o assurance_n of_o salvation_n all_o former_a resolution_n and_o good_a purpose_n whatsoever_o without_o it_o be_v but_o lose_v labour_n and_o in_o vain_a for_o he_o only_o that_o persevere_v shall_v be_v crown_v with_o victory_n and_o will_v save_v his_o soul_n which_o be_v a_o reward_n indeed_o sufficient_a to_o encourage_v we_o to_o give_v the_o present_a moment_n of_o a_o uncertain_a life_n for_o so_o never-ending_a a_o bliss_n o_o happy_a perseverance_n which_o win_v such_o a_o glorious_a crown_n and_o happy_a virtue_n of_o perseverance_n in_o holy_a patience_n and_o conformity_n in_o all_o adversity_n as_o well_o as_o in_o prosperity_n in_o sickness_n as_o in_o health_n in_o poverty_n as_o in_o not_o persevere_v be_v sinful_a neglect_n and_o deep_o deserve_v punishment_n o_o what_o cause_n of_o horror_n and_o just_a fear_n have_v i_o to_o conceive_v for_o my_o so_o great_a inconstancy_n in_o persevere_v in_o so_o many_o good_a purpose_n and_o pious_a resolution_n which_o thy_o great_a goodness_n my_o love_a god_n have_v vouchsafe_v so_o frequent_o to_o inspire_v i_o with_o i_o fall_v from_o luke_o warm_a to_o be_v key-cold_a and_o thence_o unto_o total_a neglect_n of_o what_o i_o be_v bind_v to_o do_v but_o thou_o my_o merciful_a lord_n although_o thy_o great_a mercy_n have_v
