covenant_n of_o love_n in_o which_o both_o party_n have_v as_o it_o be_v but_o one_o heart_n and_o one_o mind_n and_o one_o will_v between_o they_o and_o so_o in_o this_o covenant_n if_o we_o have_v willing_a to_o receive_v these_o this_o be_v enough_o for_o admission_n into_o covenant_n 3._o to_o say_v all_o the_o quality_n of_o grace_n be_v not_o the_o necessary_a anâ—ecedents_n for_o entrance_n covenant_n the_o quality_n of_o grace_n and_o the_o fruit_n and_o consequent_n of_o the_o covenant_n into_o but_o they_o be_v the_o gracious_a fruit_n and_o consequent_n of_o the_o covenant_n when_o you_o be_v bring_v into_o covenant_n then_o be_v all_o grace_n bring_v into_o your_o heart_n then_o if_o you_o seek_v unto_o your_o god_n and_o trust_v on_o he_o he_o will_v send_v forth_o his_o spirit_n into_o your_o heart_n 5._o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n to_o be_v our_o god_n in_o covenant_n iâ—_n not_o prerequire_v before_o in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n to_o be_v our_o covenant_n till_o god_n covenant_n be_v not_o prerequire_v before_o we_o take_v he_o to_o be_v our_o god_n this_o be_v lay_v in_o the_o sinner_n will_v never_o close_v with_o god_n but_o to_o know_v that_o this_o god_n be_v my_o god_n this_o be_v neither_o prerequire_v not_o be_v it_o possiblâ—_n for_o any_o sinner_n to_o attain_v unto_o this_o before_o he_o do_v take_v god_n to_o be_v his_o god_n in_o covenant_n yâ—t_o be_v this_o a_o ordinary_a perplexity_n and_o hindrance_n with_o many_o brokenhearted_a sinner_n o_o if_o we_o can_v but_o be_v assure_v that_o god_n be_v our_o god_n than_o we_o will_v venture_v to_o come_v into_o covenant_n with_o he_o and_o do_v we_o know_v ourselves_o to_o be_v his_o people_n than_o we_o will_v close_v with_o he_o belove_a for_o for_o 1._o it_o be_v impossible_a to_o begin_v the_o covenant_n with_o a_o reflexive_a act_n can_v any_o woman_n act_n it_o be_v impossible_a to_o begin_v the_o covenant_n with_o a_o reflexive_a act_n know_v such_o a_o man_n to_o be_v her_o husband_n until_o she_o
have_v lose_v that_o perfect_o inherent_a righteousness_n and_o the_o grace_n which_o come_v in_o the_o room_n of_o it_o be_v very_o weak_a and_o imperfect_a so_o that_o as_o to_o the_o perpetuate_n of_o the_o covenant_n we_o shall_v be_v extreme_o disadvantage_v in_o comparison_n of_o our_o imperfect_a holiness_n with_o his_o perfect_a righteousness_n and_o thus_o we_o by_o grace_n shall_v have_v only_o a_o less_o power_n and_o strength_n to_o continue_v in_o covenant_n with_o god_n than_o adam_n have_v 3._o god_n undertake_v more_o for_o our_o part_n in_o this_o covenant_n than_o he_o do_v for_o adam_n in_o that_o covenant_n for_o there_o he_o do_v give_v a_o sufficiency_n of_o righteousness_n and_o so_o left_a man_n unto_o himself_o but_o here_o he_o do_v not_o only_o call_v we_o to_o be_v his_o people_n and_o give_v we_o grace_n to_o make_v we_o to_o be_v so_o but_o also_o promise_v and_o engage_v his_o own_o power_n and_o his_o christ_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n to_o assist_v and_o uphold_v and_o preserve_v and_o confirm_v and_o establish_v we_o unto_o the_o end_n sure_o then_o it_o be_v not_o probable_a that_o he_o will_v leave_v the_o issue_n of_o so_o much_o mercy_n and_o happiness_n to_o the_o power_n and_o sole_a pleasure_n of_o our_o own_o will_n 4._o that_o god_n shall_v glory_v so_o much_o in_o make_v this_o covenant_n with_o his_o people_n and_o please_v to_o speak_v so_o much_o of_o his_o great_a kindness_n and_o riches_n of_o grace_n and_o mercy_n and_o of_o what_o he_o have_v do_v and_o will_v do_v for_o they_o and_o yet_o when_o all_o come_v to_o all_o it_o be_v no_o more_o but_o this_o if_o your_o will_n please_v you_o shall_v enjoy_v all_o this_o 2._o it_o be_v very_o incongruous_a to_o make_v the_o covenant_n thus_o to_o by_o our_o own_o will_n do_v continue_v and_o perpetuate_v the_o covenant_n god_n will_v give_v this_o and_o will_v give_v that_o if_o we_o continue_v steadfast_a in_o his_o covenant_n and_o that_o steadfastness_n depend_v only_o upon_o the_o power_n and_o pleasure_n of_o his_o will_n god_n say_v they_o no_o where_o promise_v that_o gift_n absolute_o but_o we_o must_v look_v for_o that_o in_o ourselves_o and_o i_o beseech_v you_o now_o tell_v i_o where_o the_o glory_n of_o our_o perseverance_n unto_o glory_n must_v light_v shall_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n have_v it_o no_o it_o be_v not_o
