abide_v still_o in_o his_o bed_n how_o whole_a soever_o he_o have_v be_v the_o restore_n of_o his_o health_n have_v be_v obscure_a but_o when_o he_o rise_v up_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o all_o man_n and_o go_v on_o his_o way_n with_o his_o bed_n on_o his_o neck_n there_o appear_v a_o most_o evident_a declaration_n of_o the_o power_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o same_o day_n be_v the_o sabbath_n c._n chrste_o be_v not_o ignorant_a how_o great_a offence_n will_v follow_v when_o the_o man_n shall_v be_v see_v to_o carry_v a_o burden_n on_o his_o neck_n 17.21_o jer._n 17.21_o for_o the_o law_n command_v the_o bed_n to_o be_v carry_v that_o the_o miracle_n may_v be_v the_o more_o general_o know_v second_o that_o occasion_n may_v be_v give_v &_o as_o it_o be_v a_o way_n prepare_v to_o that_o notable_a sermon_n which_o he_o make_v afterward_o and_o of_o so_o great_a weight_n be_v the_o knowledge_n of_o that_o miracle_n that_o he_o ought_v not_o to_o regard_v the_o offence_n of_o the_o people_n especial_o see_v he_o have_v so_o just_a a_o defence_n in_o a_o readiness_n by_o which_o although_o he_o please_v not_o the_o wicked_a yet_o notwithstanding_o he_o mighty_o refute_v their_o cavil_n therefore_o we_o must_v hold_v this_o for_o a_o general_a rule_n that_o although_o the_o whole_a world_n shall_v rage_v against_o god_n yet_o nevertheless_o we_o must_v publish_v the_o glory_n he_o bring_v will_v not_o satisfy_v they_o they_o begin_v then_o to_o offend_v in_o that_o for_o the_o cause_n be_v know_v he_o ought_v to_o have_v be_v bear_v withal_o the_o bear_n of_o a_o burden_n as_o be_v alredye_n say_v be_v the_o break_n of_o the_o sabbath_n day_n but_o christ_n which_o lay_v the_o burden_n upon_o his_o shoulder_n by_o his_o authority_n discharge_v he_o 11._o he_o answer_v they_o he_o that_o make_v i_o whole_a say_v unto_o i_o take_v up_o thy_o bed_n and_o walk_v m._n he_o can_v not_o have_v answer_v better_o nor_o more_o briefelye_o he_o do_v not_o dispute_n either_o whole_a and_o seem_v to_o affirm_v stout_o that_o he_o be_v rather_o to_o be_v honour_v then_o the_o sabbath_n in_o who_o there_o be_v so_o great_a virtue_n and_o grace_n that_o he_o can_v heal_v this_o so_o old_a a_o disease_n with_o his_o word_n only_o for_o it_o belong_v only_o to_o god_n and_o not_o to_o man_n to_o do_v such_o a_o deed_n judgement_n rash_a judgement_n c._n we_o be_v teach_v therefore_o by_o this_o example_n to_o beware_v of_o rash_a judgement_n until_o the_o reason_n and_o consideration_n of_o every_o fact_n do_v full_o appear_v unto_o us._n whatsoever_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n deserve_v without_o all_o controversy_n to_o be_v condemn_v but_o because_o we_o be_v here_o often_o time_n deceive_v let_v we_o first_o modest_o and_o quiet_o search_v out_o the_o matter_n that_o we_o may_v have_v a_o sober_a and_o sound_a judgement_n for_o because_o the_o jew_n be_v evil_a affection_a they_o make_v no_o enquirye_a but_o fall_v to_o rash_a judgement_n whereas_o if_o they_o have_v suffer_v themselves_o to_o be_v teach_v the_o offence_n have_v not_o only_o be_v take_v away_o but_o they_o have_v be_v bring_v with_o much_o more_o profit_n to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o gospel_n 12._o then_o ask_v they_o he_o what_o man_n be_v that_o which_o say_v unto_o thou_o take_v up_o thy_o bed_n and_o walk_v then_o ask_v they_o he_o bu_n it_o be_v likely_a that_o the_o pharisées_fw-fr understand_v the_o plainness_n of_o his_o speech_n and_o perceive_v that_o jesus_n be_v the_o author_n of_o this_o matter_n who_o they_o know_v well_o say_v see_v god_n have_v so_o seriouslye_o command_v the_o observation_n of_o the_o sabbath_n and_o have_v plain_o forbid_v we_o to_o do_v any_o manner_n of_o work_n upon_o the_o sabbath_n day_n what_o man_n be_v he_o that_o dare_v presume_v to_o set_v himself_o so_o rash_o against_o god_n they_o say_v not_o what_o be_v he_o that_o have_v make_v thou_o whole_a because_o this_o serve_v not_o their_o turn_n to_o caluminate_v but_o they_o say_v what_o man_n be_v he_o that_o thus_o blind_a and_o malicious_a flesh_n and_o blood_n be_v wont_v to_o

and_o simple_a man_n more_o faith_n fear_v of_o he_o and_o religion_n than_o to_o these_o great_a doctor_n wherehy_o he_o may_v suppress_v the_o pride_n of_o man_n c._n wherefore_o see_v god_n ought_v always_o to_o be_v hear_v by_o whosoever_o he_o speak_v unto_o we_o let_v we_o learn_v not_o to_o condemn_v they_o that_o god_n may_v always_o find_v we_o apt_a

some_o do_v very_o fondelye_o draw_v the_o same_o to_o man_n soul_n 12._o then_o say_v his_o disciple_n lord_n if_o he_o sleep_v he_o shall_v do_v well_o enough_o m._n the_o answer_n of_o christ_n natural_a sleep_n m._n the_o evangelist_n add_v the_o exposytion_n of_o the_o word_n of_o christ_n to_o declare_v the_o rudeness_n of_o his_o disciple_n by_o which_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o interpretation_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o seem_v to_o defend_v the_o imbecillitye_n of_o our_o flesh_n than_o we_o be_v to_o agree_v unto_o those_o thing_n which_o with_o peril_n and_o danger_n serve_v to_o the_o set_v forth_o of_o god_n glory_n and_o hereupon_o it_o come_v that_o while_n we_o gréede_o embrace_v those_o thing_n which_o seem_v to_o agree_v unto_o our_o flesh_n we_o oftentimes_o miss_v of_o the_o true_a scence_n and_o meaning_n of_o the_o word_n a._n when_o jesus_n himself_o speak_v of_o the_o excellency_n of_o his_o kingdom_n before_o his_o disciple_n i4_n math_n i4_n by_o &_o by_o there_o arise_v a_o contention_n among_o they_o who_o shall_v be_v the_o great_a and_o when_o he_o speak_v of_o the_o cross_n and_o of_o the_o evilles_n which_o he_o shall_v suffer_v at_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o jew_n they_o understand_v not_o what_o he_o say_v 14._o then_o say_v jesus_n unto_o they_o plain_o lazarus_n be_v dead_a m._n because_o they_o understand_v he_o end_n his_o disciple_n may_v know_v that_o the_o resurrection_n of_o lazarus_n be_v very_o divine_a it_o be_v necessary_a that_o he_o shall_v differ_v the_o same_o that_o it_o may_v be_v past_o all_o
