serve_v god_n and_o the_o church_n in_o the_o office_n of_o the_o ministry_n but_o when_o the_o ecclesiastical_a as_o well_o as_o civil_a law_n be_v restore_v to_o their_o force_n throughout_o the_o kingdom_n and_o bishop_n establish_v in_o every_o diocese_n for_o the_o government_n of_o the_o church_n he_o submit_v to_o be_v again_o episcopal_o ordain_v not_o that_o he_o renounce_v his_o former_a ordination_n or_o think_v he_o have_v any_o reason_n to_o repent_v that_o as_o the_o time_n than_o be_v he_o accept_v of_o it_o but_o because_o he_o look_v upon_o it_o to_o be_v his_o duty_n worship_n except_o we_o can_v assign_v something_o therein_o which_o be_v unlawful_a and_o therefore_o here_o the_o doubt_n must_v be_v as_o well_o on_o this_o side_n of_o the_o question_n as_o the_o other_o and_o why_o a_o man_n doubt_n in_o such_o a_o case_n as_o this_o shall_v determine_v he_o to_o disobedience_n and_o not_o rather_o to_o obedience_n the_o late_a being_n plain_o and_o express_o be_v of_o the_o establish_v church_n be_v a_o follow_v of_o baal_n and_o if_o such_o little_a scruple_n and_o doubt_n as_o may_v arise_v upon_o what_o he_o have_v above_o insinuate_v concern_v nadab_n and_o abihu_n etc._n etc._n do_v keep_v a_o man_n fix_v in_o nonconformity_n it_o shall_v be_v well_o approve_v of_o but_o if_o the_o peace_n and_o unity_n of_o the_o church_n and_o obedience_n to_o the_o law_n of_o the_o land_n shall_v have_v so_o much_o influence_n upon_o he_o as_o to_o put_v he_o but_o in_o suspense_n concern_v what_o be_v best_a to_o be_v do_v away_o with_o he_o he_o halt_v between_o god_n and_o baal_n and_o since_o he_o gather_v not_o with_o our_o author_n he_o be_v to_o be_v reject_v as_o one_o that_o scatter_v but_o i_o must_v return_v to_o the_o precede_a paragraph_n in_o which_o as_o i_o say_v he_o endeavour_v to_o run_v down_o my_o conclusion_n without_o so_o much_o as_o offer_v to_o refute_v my_o premise_n and_o here_o he_o go_v on_o and_o tell_v i_o that_o a_o little_a more_o reason_n and_o divinity_n will_v have_v teach_v i_o that_o negative_a precept_n bound_v ad_fw-la semper_fw-la but_o positive_a precept_n bound_v only_o semper_fw-la i_o answer_v that_o i_o have_v indeed_o meet_v with_o this_o in_o my_o small_a read_n in_o divinity_n but_o how_o to_o apply_v it_o to_o his_o purpose_n my_o reason_n do_v not_o instruct_v i_o and_o therefore_o since_o reason_n to_o turn_v the_o balance_n but_o 3._o he_o tell_v i_o that_o if_o my_o episcopal_a brethren_n in_o scotland_n shall_v doubt_v of_o the_o lawfulness_n of_o submit_v to_o presbytery_n now_o
