assignemente_n a_o part_n of_o their_o charge_n to_o wit_v so_o much_o as_o concern_v the_o ordinary_a service_n of_o the_o parish_n as_o unto_o their_o chancelour_n commissary_n and_o arch-deccors_a on_o other_o part_n for_o inferior_a government_n reserveirg_n to_o themselves_o the_o lordship_n ever_o both_o for_o the_o best_a advantage_n of_o their_o own_o honour_n and_o profit_n it_o will_v then_o evident_o appear_v as_o that_o the_o part_n be_v a_o branch_n of_o the_o whole_a that_o the_o parochial_a ministry_n be_v a_o branch_n of_o the_o diâ—â—esâ—n_n &_o provincial_a prelacy_n by_o which_o ministry_n we_o be_v not_o to_o understand_v as_o do_v my_o opposite_a the_o work_n of_o preach_v or_o any_o other_o work_n whatsoever_o but_o the_o office_n &_o power_n execute_v &_o use_v contrary_n be_v the_o office_n of_o prelacy_n unlawful_a &_o unlawful_o found_v and_o yet_o not_o so_o absolute_o but_o that_o the_o good_a work_n of_o preach_v may_v be_v and_o be_v perform_v in_o and_o by_o it_o which_o preach_v being_n also_o a_o inferior_a work_n of_o that_o office_n and_o order_n which_o be_v principal_o set_v up_o for_o government_n and_o that_o wherewith_o the_o bishop_n affirmation_n in_o my_o book_n p._n 29_o that_o preach_v be_v no_o natural_a or_o necessary_a part_n of_o the_o parochial_a minister_n office_n this_o my_o assertion_n in_o the_o first_o place_n he_o reproach_v as_o a_o intemperate_a speech_n proceed_v from_o a_o impotent_a sickness_n of_o mind_n which_o yet_o say_v he_o may_v be_v use_v against_o myself_o if_o i_o be_v sick_a of_o any_o such_o impotency_n of_o mind_n as_o he_o in_o his_o potency_n of_o mind_n pronounce_v i_o shall_v sure_o find_v he_o a_o physician_n of_o no_o value_n which_o bring_v no_o other_o medicine_n than_o a_o reproach_n to_o cure_v i_o withal_o only_o he_o insinuate_v a_o reason_n against_o that_o i_o say_v which_o be_v that_o preach_v the_o word_n be_v express_o mention_v in_o the_o minister_n ordination_n and_o be_v it_o not_o also_o mention_v in_o the_o ordination_n of_o a_o mas-preist_n of_o who_o office_n notwithstanding_o it_o be_v no_o necessary_a or_o natural_a part_n yea_o be_v it_o not_o evident_a that_o one_o and_o the_o same_o ordination_n serve_v both_o for_o a_o mas-preist_n &_o parochial_a minister_n be_v give_v by_o a_o popish_a bishop_n and_o so_o
by_o consequence_n that_o there_o be_v one_o &_o the_o same_o office_n of_o both_o though_o exercise_v in_o some_o different_a work_n so_o also_o be_v minister_a the_o disciplyne_v of_o christ_n as_o the_o lord_n have_v command_v express_o mention_v in_o his_o ordination_n &_o be_v it_o therefore_o a_o necessary_a work_n of_o the_o parochial_a minister_n or_o be_v he_o any_o more_o than_o the_o bishop_n man_n man_n in_o publish_v his_o court_n censure_n the_o bishop_n also_o express_o bid_v his_o ordain_v one_o receav_v the_o h_n ghost_n do_v he_o therefore_o so_o receav_v it_o or_o know_v we_o not_o that_o it_o be_v antichrist_n guise_n and_o that_o not_o a_o little_a advantageable_a to_o the_o mystery_n of_o his_o iniquity_n to_o keep_v the_o form_n of_o good_a word_n without_o the_o substance_n of_o thing_n &_o so_o under_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n to_o subvert_v christ_n truth_n and_o ordinance_n i_o will_v to_o god_n the_o notorious_a ignorance_n and_o utter_a inability_n cry_v out_o unto_o god_n and_o man_n against_o both_o that_o church_n prelacy_n and_o ministry_n that_o preach_v be_v no_o necessary_a part_n or_o work_v of_o their_o office_n there_o be_v but_o one_o order_n or_o office_n of_o priesthood_n in_o that_o church_n &_o how_o can_v that_o be_v a_o natural_a or_o necessary_a part_n of_o that_o office_n which_o the_o most_o of_o those_o officer_n want_v this_o especial_o be_v by_o the_o constant_a practice_n of_o the_o puqlique_a governor_n &_o according_a to_o the_o constitution_n and_o state_n of_o that_o church_n ministry_n and_o government_n the_o public_a law_n thereof_o also_o both_o ecclesiastical_a and_o civil_a approve_a it_o as_o otherwise_o so_o by_o appoint_v homily_n to_o be_v read_v by_o such_o as_o be_v unable_a to_o preach_v thereof_o but_o casual_a &_o arbytrary_a as_o be_v this_o of_o preach_v as_o the_o person_n can_v or_o will_n it_o be_v not_o by_o any_o absolute_a necessity_n require_v of_o every_o minister_n to_o preach_v but_o yet_o he_o that_o do_v preach_v do_v it_o by_o authority_n of_o the_o prelate_n in_o his_o parish_n as_o in_o a_o part_n of_o the_o prelate_n province_n or_o diocese_n and_o where_o he_o speak_v of_o the_o minister_n not_o excercisâ—ing_v the_o power_n receive_v from_o the_o prelate_n in_o that_o buesines_n of_o preach_v it_o be_v as_o a_o poor_a shift_n so_o a_o vain_a insinuation_n that_o though_o in_o other_o buesiness_n he_o do_v excercise_n the_o prelate_n power_n yet_o not_o in_o that_o of_o preach_v whereas_o he_o both_o preach_v &_o read_v divine_a service_n &_o do_v whatsoever_o he_o do_v public_o by_o one_o &_o the_o same_o ecclesiastic_a power_n &_o office_n he_o be_v not_o one_o officer_n in_o the_o desk_n &_o another_o in_o the_o pulpit_n though_o his_o work_n be_v divers_a â—ut_v the_o b_o ps_n minister_n in_o both_o he_o add_v as_o opposite_a to_o a_o affirmation_n of_o i_o pag_n 30._o that_o though_o the_o prelacy_n be_v pluck_v up_o yet_o deny_v &_o marvel_v he_o will_v affirm_v that_o the_o same_o parochial_a office_n and_o power_n of_o ministry_n do_v remain_v in_o those_o church_n which_o be_v in_o use_n before_o the_o extirpation_n of_o the_o prelacy_n there_o the_o office_n itself_o be_v the_o order_n of_o mas-preisthood_a &_o the_o power_n derive_v from_o the_o pope_n &_o popeish_a prelacy_n that_o the_o work_n of_o preach_v and_o prayer_n perform_v by_o many_o of_o the_o parochial_a minister_n and_o also_o by_o some_o of_o the_o masse-preists_a may_v remain_v though_o the_o prelacy_n be_v take_v away_o &_o with_o it_o the_o parochial_a priesthood_n also_o be_v without_o doubt_n as_o they_o do_v in_o the_o reform_a church_n and_o with_o we_o where_o there_o be_v neither_o prelate_n not_o parochial_a minister_n but_o our_o question_n be_v not_o about_o some_o particular_a work_n as_o my_o opposite_a make_v it_o but_o as_o have_v be_v oft_o observe_v about_o the_o very_a function_n itself_o and_o the_o power_n by_o which_o it_o be_v give_v and_o use_v and_o for_o the_o point_n since_o all_o the_o minister_n of_o that_o church_n be_v make_v &_o appoint_v by_o the_o bishop_n authority_n take_v away_o the_o same_o bishop_n authority_n and_o how_o can_v the_o minister_n remain_v the_o same_o minister_n take_v away_o the_o correlative_a and_o the_o relation_n cease_v 2._o take_v away_o the_o prelacy_n and_o how_o possible_o can_v such_o a_o ministry_n continue_v as_o be_v the_o parochial_a whereof_o the_o one_o of_o the_o two_o part_n though_o the_o inferior_a which_o stand_v in_o feeâ—ing_v the_o flock_n by_o rule_v shall_v be_v usurp_v and_o possess_v by_o the_o prelate_n and_o their_o ordinary_n 3._o take_v away_o the_o provin_n and_o dioc_n prelate_n and_o with_o they_o the_o prov_n and_o dioc_fw-la church_n and_o then_o the_o parochial_a church_n as_o part_n of_o they_o must_v fall_v with_o they_o their_o whole_n and_o with_o the_o church_n the_o minister_n as_o part_n of_o they_o 4_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o the_o prelacy_n be_v abolish_v such_o a_o office_n of_o ministry_n of_o which_o office_n the_o reader_n must_v still_o remember_v our_o question_n to_o be_v shall_v survive_v as_o whereof_o man_n utter_o unapt_a to_o teach_v shall_v be_v capable_a as_o it_o be_v with_o the_o parochial_a ministry_n can_v such_o stuff_n pass_v through_o any_o but_o bishops_n finger_n or_o will_v the_o lord_n ever_o wipe_v away_o so_o much_o of_o their_o shame_n as_o to_o suffer_v any_o other_o hand_n but_o of_o prelate_n and_o their_o chaplayn_v to_o be_v lay_v upon_o the_o head_n of_o such_o idoll-preists_a or_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o in_o any_o other_o than_o the_o episcopal_a government_n the_o ministry_n of_o â—o_o many_o zealous_a and_o learned_a teacher_n shall_v hang_v upon_o the_o cop-web_n of_o conformity_n to_o cross_n surplice_n &_o such_o vanity_n &_o be_v in_o danger_n every_o day_n for_o refusal_n thereof_o to_o be_v break_v asunder_o can_v this_o web_n be_v weave_v by_o other_o than_o bishop_n or_o of_o other_o stuff_n than_o come_v out_o of_o their_o bowel_n last_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o in_o such_o light_n of_o the_o truth_n as_o now_o shine_v in_o engl_n all_o the_o profane_a parish_n without_o difference_n shall_v be_v compel_v to_o

assembly_n if_o not_o under_o the_o prelate_n spiritual_a jurisdiction_n as_o many_o will_v make_v themselves_o and_o other_o believe_v be_v lawless_a person_n &_o inordinate_a walker_n neither_o be_v this_o my_o assertion_n either_o lavish_a or_o lawless_a but_o a_o just_a &_o necessary_a testimony_n against_o their_o transgression_n of_o which_o i_o wish_v they_o from_o the_o lord_n more_o conscience_n &_o for_o that_o purpose_n better_a counsayl_n then_o in_o this_o manuduction_n they_o find_v last_o to_o make_v way_n to_o a_o touch_n of_o wit_n unto_o which_o he_o can_v get_v by_o whether_o the_o parochial_a minister_n be_v ordain_v institute_v &_o license_v by_o the_o bishop_n do_v preach_v by_o their_o authority_n or_o no_o the_o other_o two_o stumble_a block_n as_o he_o call_v they_o viz._n that_o all_o be_v urge_v to_o communion_n by_o poenall_a law_n &_o that_o a_o set_a form_n of_o prayer_n iâ—_n appoint_v he_o neither_o purpose_v nor_o think_v it_o needful_a to_o
