be_v true_a there_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o difference_n in_o these_o man_n some_o of_o they_o be_v black_a and_o filthy_a in_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o rational_a and_o more_o orderly_a part_n of_o the_o world_n such_o be_v the_o atheist_n the_o profane_a curser_n and_o swearer_n the_o blasphemer_n the_o drunkard_n the_o thief_n the_o oppressor_n the_o unrighteous_a and_o intemperate_a man_n these_o be_v the_o fot_n of_o the_o earth_n the_o spot_n of_o the_o world_n the_o shame_n and_o reproach_n of_o the_o nation_n or_o city_n in_o which_o they_o live_v beast_n walk_v in_o humane_a shape_n but_o there_o be_v many_o other_o who_o have_v much_o beauty_n in_o they_o in_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o world_n and_o humane_a reason_n yet_o be_v not_o comely_a in_o the_o eye_n of_o christ_n if_o a_o man_n be_v sober_a and_o temperate_a just_a and_o righteous_a kind_a and_o charitable_a though_o he_o live_v not_o up_o to_o the_o strict_a rule_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n yet_o live_v up_o to_o the_o conduct_n of_o humane_a reason_n and_o the_o advantage_n of_o humane_a society_n which_o the_o other_o infect_v and_o destroy_v the_o world_n count_v he_o a_o very_a good_a man_n full_a of_o beauty_n and_o comeliness_n applaud_v commend_v and_o court_v he_o but_o now_o the_o lord_n christ_n not_o judge_v according_o to_o the_o outward_a appearance_n but_o according_a to_o the_o heart_n see_v in_o this_o man_n heart_n no_o love_n of_o god_n constrain_a he_o to_o these_o act_n nothing_o of_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n aw_v this_o man_n soul_n unto_o his_o duty_n god_n i_o say_v see_v he_o in_o these_o action_n neither_o act_n from_o a_o persuasion_n that_o this_o be_v the_o will_n of_o god_n nor_o from_o a_o belief_n of_o the_o promise_n or_o of_o the_o threaten_n nor_o from_o a_o obedience_n to_o the_o precept_n of_o god_n but_o mere_o from_o politic_a and_o rational_a principle_n from_o self_n end_n &_o interest_n that_o he_o may_v appear_v to_o man_n to_o be_v good_a and_o seek_v in_o these_o action_n the_o praise_n of_o man_n not_o of_o god_n or_o mere_o under_o the_o conduct_n of_o reason_n command_v their_o passion_n in_o order_n to_o their_o more_o comfortable_a be_v in_o this_o world_n and_o a_o more_o honourable_a and_o acceptable_a converse_n with_o the_o best_a man_n in_o it_o god_n i_o say_v see_v this_o judge_v these_o moral_o virtuous_a man_n black_a we_o that_o be_v parent_n to_o child_n and_o master_n 〈◊〉_d servant_n though_o we_o can_v judge_v of_o their_o heart_n yet_o can_v distinguish_v
