the_o matter_n more_o plain_a that_o idolatrous_a rome_n be_v reviue_v again_o by_o these_o pope_n saint_n john_n have_v another_o vision_n show_v he_o which_o be_v this_o he_o see_v a_o beast_n arise_v out_o of_o the_o earth_n have_v 11._o two_o horn_n like_v unto_o the_o lamb_n mean_v thereby_o that_o these_o pope_n will_v come_v as_o pretend_v great_a show_n of_o religion_n and_o as_o if_o they_o be_v the_o vycar_n of_o christ_n that_o lamb_n of_o god_n but_o he_o tell_v you_o that_o he_o speak_v like_o the_o dragon_n and_o that_o he_o do_v all_o that_o the_o first_o beast_n can_v do_v that_o be_v before_o he_o yea_o and_o that_o he_o cause_v the_o image_n of_o the_o former_a beast_n to_o be_v make_v and_o give_v he_o spirit_n and_o life_n and_o make_v all_o the_o earth_n to_o worship_v he_o who_o deadly_a wound_n by_o they_o be_v heal_v and_o furthermore_o 14._o for_o their_o help_n therein_o saint_n john_n show_v you_o that_o this_o lamb_n shall_v work_v great_a sign_n and_o wonder_n even_o so_o great_a as_o if_o it_o be_v to_o bring_v fire_n from_o heaven_n as_o elyas_n do_v 41._o to_o the_o end_n that_o as_o he_o thereby_o cause_v all_o israel_n to_o turn_v from_o the_o worship_n of_o jeroboam_n calf_n unto_o the_o lord_n to_o worship_v he_o even_o so_o in_o a_o contrary_a sort_n will_v this_o lamb_n seek_v with_o the_o sign_n which_o be_v permit_v he_o to_o for_o unless_o they_o will_v so_o do_v they_o shall_v 17._o neither_o buy_v nor_o sell_v but_o be_v kill_v so_o that_o here_o you_o see_v how_o fit_o this_o agree_v with_o the_o other_o vision_n for_o the_o pope_n to_o be_v reviuor_n of_o the_o former_a beast_n and_o also_o how_o fit_o it_o fall_v out_o according_a to_o that_o which_o our_o saviour_n and_o saint_n paul_n before_o have_v tell_v you_o that_o be_v that_o there_o shall_v come_v false_a prophet_n which_o 10._o will_v come_v in_o sheep_n clothing_n but_o inward_o be_v raven_a wolf_n and_o that_o they_o will_v come_v with_o all_o lie_a sign_n wonder_n and_o sleight_n of_o deceice_n and_o therefore_o be_v it_o that_o our_o saviour_n give_v we_o so_o great_a charge_n to_o take_v heed_n of_o they_o and_o moreover_o therefore_o be_v it_o that_o it_o please_v he_o to_o paint_v they_o out_o so_o plain_a unto_o we_o for_o although_o they_o will_v seem_v never_o so_o much_o to_o bear_v the_o horn_n of_o a_o lamb_n or_o never_o so_o much_o to_o pretend_v religion_n or_o show_v of_o holiness_n yet_o the_o lord_n have_v so_o plain_o note_v they_o by_o one_o especial_a mark_n above_o the_o rest_n as_o that_o every_o simple_a man_n may_v know_v they_o howsoever_o 13._o they_o will_v seem_v to_o change_v their_o shape_n &_o that_o be_v their_o voice_n the_o which_o you_o see_v saint_n john_n say_v be_v all_o one_o with_o the_o dragon_n 15._o and_o therefore_o although_o satan_n come_v not_o now_o as_o unto_o 3._o adam_n and_o euah_n nor_o as_o in_o the_o day_n of_o the_o primitive_a church_n 13._o that_o be_v although_o he_o come_v not_o now_o in_o you_o â—_o carcase_n of_o a_o luttle_a serpent_n â—…0_n nor_o yet_o in_o the_o form_n of_o a_o seven_o head_a beast_n but_o contrariwise_o even_o in_o the_o skin_n of_o a_o poor_a and_o simple_a lamb_n yet_o the_o 2._o voice_n be_v the_o self_n and_o same_o you_o may_v know_v he_o howsoever_o he_o transform_v himself_o it_o be_v good_a for_o you_o here_o then_o to_o 2._o consider_v the_o voice_n both_o of_o the_o one_o and_o of_o the_o other_o the_o voice_n of_o the_o serpent_n and_o of_o the_o beast_n command_v that_o which_o god_n forbid_v and_o forbid_v that_o which_o god_n command_v even_o so_o do_v the_o voice_n of_o this_o counterfeit_a lamb_n as_o for_o example_n the_o voice_n of_o god_n forbid_v the_o make_n of_o grave_a image_n to_o bow_v down_o unto_o they_o but_o the_o voice_n of_o this_o counterfeit_a 14._o lamb_n command_v the_o make_n of_o they_o and_o the_o bow_n unto_o they_o the_o voice_n of_o god_n command_v prayer_n to_o be_v make_v unto_o he_o alone_o and_o not_o unto_o any_o other_o but_o the_o voice_n of_o this_o 19_o counterfeit_a lamb_n forbid_v prayer_n to_o be_v make_v unto_o god_n alone_o and_o command_v it_o to_o be_v make_v unto_o saint_n withal_o the_o voice_n of_o god_n say_v that_o whosoever_o he_o be_v that_o believe_v in_o christ_n his_o son_n shall_v be_v sure_a to_o have_v pardon_n of_o his_o sin_n through_o the_o shed_n of_o his_o most_o precious_a bloudbut_n vers_fw-la the_o voice_n of_o this_o counterfeit_a lamb_n say_v that_o whosoever_o he_o be_v that_o will_v believe_v he_o he_o minister_n to_o speak_v ten_o hundred_o thousand_o in_o a_o strange_a language_n 19_o unto_o the_o which_o the_o people_n can_v say_v amen_o then_o to_o speak_v one_o word_n to_o their_o understanding_n lest_o so_o they_o shall_v spy_v out_o their_o knavery_n again_o the_o voice_n of_o god_n command_v 19_o we_o not_o to_o abstain_v from_o meat_n but_o to_o abstain_v from_o sin_n and_o command_v to_o be_v do_v even_o thus_o say_v the_o apostle_n will_v they_o teach_v the_o doctrine_n of_o that_o old_a serpent_n their_o father_n the_o devil_n therefore_o if_o you_o shall_v have_v have_v no_o more_o mark_n give_v you_o to_o know_v they_o by_o then_o these_o they_o have_v be_v sufficient_a for_o you_o but_o since_o it_o have_v please_v the_o holy_a ghost_n to_o give_v you_o be_v he_o see_v this_o beast_n to_o be_v of_o a_o scarlet_a colour_n &_o to_o have_v a_o woman_n sit_v upon_o he_o full_a of_o name_n of_o blasphemy_n which_o woman_n be_v array_v also_o in_o purple_a and_o scarlet_a and_o a_o cup_n of_o gold_n in_o her_o hand_n full_a of_o abomination_n and_o filthiness_n of_o her_o fornication_n and_o beside_o in_o her_o forehead_n be_v a_o name_n write_v a_o mystery_n great_a babylon_n the_o mother_n of_o whoredom_n and_o abomination_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o that_o with_o she_o shall_v the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n commit_v fornication_n and_o that_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o earth_n shall_v be_v drunken_a with_o the_o wine_n of_o the_o same_o and_o moreover_o that_o this_o whore_n herself_o shall_v be_v drunken_a with_o the_o blood_n of_o and_o likewise_o after_o a_o sort_n to_o be_v a_o eight_o the_o which_o policy_n be_v say_v to_o have_v the_o whole_a power_n of_o satan_n as_o the_o former_a have_v even_o to_o have_v the_o strength_n as_o it_o be_v of_o warlike_a horse_n to_o make_v battle_n against_o y_fw-es â—_o city_n of_o saint_n now_o if_o you_o think_v that_o the_o former_a exposition_n by_o the_o angel_n concern_v the_o seven_o head_n of_o the_o beast_n be_v not_o plain_a inought_z he_o will_v let_v you_o have_v it_o yet_o more_o plain_a for_o he_o tell_v you_o further_o that_o y_o e_o seven_o head_n be_v also_o seven_o hill_n whereon_o the_o woman_n sit_v and_o 18_o he_o also_o tell_v you_o that_o the_o woman_n be_v the_o great_a city_n that_o reign_v over_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n if_o of_o life_n even_o the_o most_o pure_a doctrine_n of_o the_o holy_a prophet_n &_o apostle_n and_o for_o that_o by_o they_o the_o brightness_n thereof_o shall_v be_v continual_o darken_v even_o darken_v by_o the_o smoke_n that_o shall_v arise_v from_o that_o bottomless_a 12._o pit_n of_o their_o own_o doctrine_n precept_n and_o foolish_a tradition_n and_o so_o by_o that_o mean_n turn_v overcome_v they_o and_o to_o force_v they_o to_o forsake_v the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o the_o testimony_n which_o the_o maintain_v &_o so_o to_o have_v they_o to_o do_v worship_n unto_o he_o and_o to_o the_o dragon_n who_o give_v he_o his_o power_n but_o yet_o notwithstanding_o all_o this_o his_o strength_n he_o can_v not_o overcome_v they_o no_o although_o he_o persecute_v they_o daily_o even_o to_o the_o loss_n of_o their_o good_n land_n life_n and_o all_o for_o the_o which_o cause_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o of_o the_o lamb_n be_v so_o stir_v up_o against_o these_o profane_a emperor_n as_o that_o they_o be_v force_v in_o these_o day_n to_o wish_v the_o mountain_n to_o fall_v upon_o end_n they_o and_o to_o desire_v the_o hill_n to_o cover_v they_o even_o to_o cover_v stir_v up_o with_o revenge_n to_o spill_v and_o shed_v their_o blood_n and_o to_o give_v it_o they_o in_o great_a abundance_n to_o drink_v and_o in_o y_z e_z end_n utter_o to_o root_v they_o out_o so_o then_o this_o beast_n have_v now_o the_o wound_n of_o a_o sword_n &_o one_o head_n cut_v off_o &_o satan_n not_o 3._o able_a by_o he_o to_o prevail_v against_o the_o church_n you_o be_v to_o look_v for_o that_o other_o instrument_n of_o he_o to_o appear_v in_o his_o likeness_n that_o be_v you_o be_v to_o look_v for_o a_o description_n of_o that_o corporation_n of_o beastly_a pope_n who_o be_v not_o less_o in_o strength_n and_o mischief_n than_o the_o former_a be_v but_o rather_o far_o exceed_v they_o in_o both_o and_o therefore_o most_o fit_o be_v their_o power_n describe_v by_o a_o beast_n of_o the_o same_o form_n of_o the_o other_o but_o before_o i_o come_v to_o saint_n john_n to_o show_v you_o that_o i_o will_v give_v you_o a_o note_n or_o two_o from_o the_o apostle_n paul_n that_o so_o you_o may_v see_v how_o fit_o they_o agree_v in_o the_o discovery_n of_o this_o latter_a beast_n &_o that_o so_o you_o may_v the_o better_a hereafter_o beware_v and_o take_v heed_n lest_o you_o be_v
or_o his_o image_n or_o receive_v his_o mark_n either_o in_o his_o hand_n or_o in_o his_o forehead_n yea_o or_o so_o much_o as_o the_o prynt_n of_o his_o name_n in_o any_o part_n they_o shall_v then_o and_o night_n for_o evermore_o so_o that_o here_o we_o may_v say_v again_o with_o the_o holy_a apostle_n o_o let_v we_o often_o behold_v and_o behold_v 22._o again_o the_o love_a kindness_n and_o the_o severity_n of_o the_o lord_n his_o love_a kindness_n towards_o we_o in_o that_o it_o have_v please_v he_o so_o gracious_o and_o love_o to_o give_v we_o his_o most_o holy_a word_n by_o the_o which_o we_o may_v see_v as_o by_o a_o glass_n the_o spot_v of_o this_o most_o filthy_a state_n of_o rome_n and_o his_o severe_a severity_n towards_o all_o those_o that_o be_v deprive_v of_o the_o same_o now_o if_o you_o will_v know_v the_o cause_n here_o why_o the_o lord_n do_v so_o deal_v as_o to_o take_v his_o holy_a word_n from_o so_o many_o thousand_o of_o people_n and_o so_o by_o that_o mean_n to_o suffer_v they_o to_o run_v headlong_o to_o eternal_a destruction_n the_o answer_n be_v because_o they_o themselves_o have_v not_o a_o love_n of_o the_o truth_n for_o so_o speak_v 17._o the_o apostle_n when_o man_n have_v not_o a_o love_n to_o the_o truth_n say_v he_o which_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n by_o the_o which_o word_n they_o may_v be_v save_v it_o please_v the_o lord_n to_o send_v they_o strong_a delusion_n that_o so_o they_o shall_v believe_v lie_n and_o also_o to_o suffer_v they_o to_o give_v 1._o heed_n unto_o the_o spirit_n of_o error_n and_o doctrine_n of_o devil_n and_o so_o by_o that_o mean_n to_o deprive_v themselves_o of_o the_o true_a light_n which_o shall_v give_v they_o life_n whereby_o in_o you_o â—_o end_n they_o may_v be_v damn_v and_o only_o because_o they_o will_v neither_o receive_v nor_o believe_v the_o truth_n but_o rather_o delight_v in_o the_o precept_n and_o doctrine_n of_o man_n and_o as_o concern_v the_o doctrine_n of_o life_n have_v no_o courage_n to_o go_v on_o forward_o but_o rather_o delight_v to_o remain_v therein_o as_o child_n ever_o ready_a to_o wavour_v and_o to_o be_v carry_v about_o with_o every_o wind_n of_o strange_a doctrine_n and_o to_o be_v as_o wander_a star_n who_o easy_o fall_v from_o their_o stand_n and_o therefore_o well_o worthy_a be_v the_o blackness_n of_o darkness_n reserve_v to_o such_o for_o ever_o wherefore_o let_v we_o that_o account_n ourselves_o christian_n be_v thankful_a unto_o the_o lord_n that_o it_o have_v please_v he_o to_o call_v we_o from_o the_o power_n of_o this_o damnable_a darkness_n even_o to_o the_o most_o clear_a light_n of_o the_o glorious_a gospel_n and_o let_v we_o not_o only_o be_v thankful_a unto_o the_o lord_n for_o that_o it_o have_v please_v he_o to_o call_v we_o out_o of_o this_o mystical_a babylon_n but_o let_v we_o also_o be_v much_o more_o 4._o careful_a than_o heretofore_o we_o have_v be_v to_o let_v the_o heavenly_a lerusalem_fw-la come_v into_o our_o mind_n and_o let_v we_o in_o any_o wise_a give_v a_o entrance_n to_o the_o build_n of_o this_o spiritual_a work_n by_o the_o most_o 17._o holy_a word_n of_o god_n and_o evermore_o hold_v fast_o that_o sword_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o one_o hand_n while_o we_o work_v with_o the_o other_o that_o so_o we_o may_v put_v in_o fear_n all_o such_o enemy_n as_o will_v hinder_v
