much_o humble_v and_o yet_o become_v so_o little_a humble_a that_o we_o be_v break_v with_o trouble_n but_o not_o bow_v and_o bray_v but_o not_o melt_v and_o purify_v this_o do_v evidence_n that_o we_o know_v neither_o ourselves_o nor_o god_n as_o we_o ought_v and_o it_o make_v difficulty_n to_o slay_v we_o which_o otherwise_o will_v prove_v medicinal_a and_o if_o we_o be_v more_o acquaint_v with_o humility_n in_o our_o prosperity_n it_o will_v be_v more_o easy_a in_o our_o adversity_n whereas_o otherwise_o it_o be_v long_o ere_o trouble_v bring_v we_o down_o doct._n 4._o such_o as_o abase_v themselves_o before_o god_n aught_o in_o particular_a to_o lay_v down_o all_o their_o excellency_n before_o he_o whether_o grandeur_n and_o authority_n or_o spiritual_a privilege_n thus_o he_o defile_v his_o horn_n in_o the_o dust_n and_o israel_n be_v bid_v put_v off_o their_o ornament_n exod_n 33.5_o here_o consider_v 1._o these_o very_a outward_a sign_n of_o put_v on_o of_o sackcloth_n not_o of_o tear_n which_o go_v before_o humility_n which_o may_v be_v wrâ—ng_v out_o by_o pride_n bitterness_n and_o discontent_n but_o will_v have_v a_o man_n first_o humble_v himself_o in_o the_o dust_n and_o then_o weep_v as_o job_n do_v this_o condemn_v they_o who_o however_o they_o mourn_v or_o roar_v as_o the_o word_n be_v one_o towards_o another_o yet_o do_v not_o mourn_v and_o weep_v
