aforesaid_a to_o prescrive_v the_o quantity_n of_o land_n which_o shall_v be_v from_o time_n to_o time_n allot_v to_o every_o head_n free_a or_o servant_n male_a or_o female_a and_o to_o make_v or_o ordain_v rule_n for_o the_o cast_n of_o lot_n for_o land_n and_o the_o lay_v out_o of_o the_o same_o provide_v that_o they_o do_v not_o in_o their_o prescription_n exceed_v the_o several_a proportion_n which_o be_v hereby_o grant_v by_o we_o to_o all_o person_n arrive_v in_o the_o say_a province_n or_o adventure_v thither_o 10_o the_o general_a assembly_n by_o act_n as_o aforesaid_a shall_v make_v provision_n for_o the_o maintenance_n and_o support_v of_o the_o governor_n and_o for_o the_o defray_v all_o necessary_a charge_n of_o the_o government_n as_o also_o the_o constable_n the_o say_a general_n assembly_n shall_v prescrive_v some_o other_o way_n whereby_o the_o lord_n may_v have_v their_o rent_n due_o collect_v without_o charge_n or_o trouble_v to_o they_o 11_o and_o last_o to_o enact_v constitute_v and_o ordain_v all_o such_o other_o law_n act_n and_o constitution_n as_o shall_v or_o may_v be_v necessary_a for_o the_o good_a property_n and_o setlement_n of_o the_o say_a province_n except_v what_o by_o these_o present_n be_v except_v and_o conform_v to_o the_o limitation_n herein_o express_v the_o governor_n with_o his_o council_n before_o express_v be_v several_a office_n and_o duty_n respective_a according_a to_o the_o law_n in_o force_n and_o to_o punish_v they_o for_o swerve_v from_o the_o law_n or_o act_v contrary_a to_o their_o trust_n as_o the_o nature_n of_o their_o offence_n shall_v require_v sccond_o according_a to_o the_o constitution_n of_o the_o general_n assembly_n to_o nominate_v and_o commissionate_v the_o several_a judge_n etc._n etc._n and_o their_o commissiones_fw-la to_o revoke_v at_o pleasure_n the_o governor_n with_o the_o advice_n of_o his_o counsel_n unless_o some_o present_a danger_n will_v not_o permit_v they_o to_o advise_v to_o muster_n and_o train_n all_o the_o force_n within_o the_o say_a province_n to_o prosecute_v war_n pursue_v a_o enemy_n suppress_v all_o rebellion_n and_o muâ—…inies_n as_o well_o in_o our_o instruction_n to_o the_o governor_n in_o his_o commission_n and_o which_o be_v hereafter_o express_v eight_o to_o act_n and_o do_v all_o thing_n that_o may_v conduce_v to_o the_o safety_n peace_n and_o well_o government_n of_o the_o say_a province_n as_o they_o shall_v see_v sit_v so_o that_o they_o be_v not_o contrare_fw-la to_o the_o law_n of_o the_o say_a province_n for_o the_o better_a security_n of_o the_o province_n of_o all_o the_o inhabitant_n first_o they_o be_v not_o to_o impose_v nor_o suffer_v to_o be_v impose_v any_o tax_n custom_n subsidy_n talladg_n assesmant_n or_o any_o other_o duty_n whatsoever_o upon_o any_o colour_n or_o pretence_n upon_o the_o say_a province_n and_o inhabitant_n thereof_o other_o than_o what_o shall_v be_v impose_v by_o the_o general_a assembly_n and_o be_v in_o force_n for_o the_o space_n of_o one_o year_n and_o no_o more_o unless_o contradict_v by_o the_o lord_n proprietor_n within_o which_o time_n they_o shall_v be_v present_v to_o we_o our_o heir_n etc._n etc._n for_o our_o ratification_n and_o be_v confirm_v by_o we_o they_o shall_v be_v in_o continual_a force_n till_o expyre_v by_o their_o own_o limitation_n or_o by_o act_n of_o repeal_n in_o like_a manner_n to_o be_v pass_v as_o aforesaid_a and_o confirm_v 3_o by_o act_n as_o aforesaid_a to_o constitute_v all_o court_n together_o with_o the_o limit_n power_n and_o jurisdiction_n of_o the_o same_o and_o also_o the_o several_a office_n and_o number_n of_o the_o officer_n belong_v to_o each_o court_n with_o their_o respective_a salary_n fee_n and_o any_o of_o they_o to_o fortify_v and_o furnish_v with_o such_o provision_n and_o proportion_n of_o ordnance_n powder_n shot_n armour_n and_o all_o other_o weapon_n ammunition_n and_o habiliment_n of_o cause_n and_o to_o pursue_v a_o enemy_n by_o sea_n as_o well_o as_o by_o land_n if_o need_v be_v ouâ—_n of_o the_o limit_n and_o jurisdiction_n of_o the_o say_a province_n with_o the_o particular_a
