very_a deed_n it_o be_v only_o a_o seem_n or_o appearance_n of_o evil_a the_o evil_n itself_o be_v now_o dead_a and_o harmless_a yea_o as_o in_o the_o 21._o chapter_n of_o numb_a god_n command_v a_o brazen_a serpent_n to_o be_v set_v up_o by_o the_o sight_n whereof_o the_o live_a serpent_n do_v perish_v so_o also_o our_o death_n by_o faithful_a and_o steadfast_a behold_v of_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n do_v perish_v and_o only_o appear_v terrible_a but_o can_v not_o hurt_v we_o in_o very_a deed_n so_o do_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n aforehand_o exercise_v we_o that_o be_v weak_a with_o these_o goodly_a figure_n or_o semblance_n that_o forasmuch_o as_o death_n can_v be_v take_v away_o he_o may_v at_o the_o least_z make_v the_o force_n thereof_o to_o be_v nothing_o but_o in_o death_n be_v that_o it_o do_v not_o only_o end_v the_o trouble_n and_o affliction_n of_o this_o life_n christian_n but_o which_o be_v more_o exccllent_a it_o make_v a_o end_n of_o vice_n and_o sin_n which_o make_v death_n far_o more_o acceptable_a to_o the_o faithful_a as_o we_o have_v say_v before_o than_o the_o good_a which_o we_o have_v now_o speak_v of_o for_o the_o evil_n of_o the_o soul_n which_o be_v sin_n be_v without_o comparison_n worse_o than_o the_o evil_n of_o the_o body_n which_o only_a if_o we_o do_v know_v they_o will_v make_v death_n most_o amiable_a unto_o we_o now_o if_o they_o do_v not_o so_o it_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o we_o do_v not_o sufficient_o feel_v nor_o hate_v the_o evil_n of_o our_o soul_n whereas_o therefore_o this_o life_n be_v most_o perilous_a dangerous_a sin_n seek_v to_o deceive_v we_o on_o every_o side_n and_o we_o can_v not_o live_v without_o sin_n most_o commodious_a death_n set_v we_o free_a from_o these_o peril_n and_o cut_v of_o
