part_n conjunct_o and_o several_o special_o constitute_v greeting_n forasmuch_o as_o we_o have_v by_o our_o late_a proclamamation_n of_o the_o twenty_o day_n of_o july_n last_v bypass_a renew_v a_o commission_n grant_v by_o our_o dear_a and_o royal_a brother_n of_o ever_o bless_a memory_n of_o the_o date_n the_o nine_o day_n of_o august_n 1682._o year_n to_o the_o commissioner_n therein_o mention_v and_o for_o the_o district_v therein_o specify_v for_o see_v to_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o highland_n and_o whereas_o we_o be_v inform_v that_o notwithstanding_o of_o the_o say_a commission_n and_o our_o say_a proclamation_n thief_n sorner_n and_o robber_n do_v continue_v still_o to_o infest_v rob_n spoil_n and_o trouble_v our_o people_n there_o and_o be_v resolve_v that_o they_o shall_v be_v bring_v to_o condign_a punishment_n both_o for_o bygone_n and_o in_o time_n come_v we_o with_o advice_n of_o our_o privy_a council_n do_v hereby_o require_v and_o command_v our_o commssioner_n for_o the_o district_n of_o caithness_n and_o sutherland_n to_o meet_v at_o lochnaver_n the_o first_o day_n of_o october_n next_o and_o these_o for_o the_o district_n of_o the_o shire_n of_o ross_n inverne_n cromarty_n nairn_n and_o elgin_n to_o meet_v at_o the_o head_n of_o lochness_n the_o say_v first_o day_n of_o october_n next_o these_o for_o the_o district_n of_o the_o shire_n of_o bamff_n aberdeen_n kincardin_n and_o forfar_n to_o meet_v at_o kincardin_n of_o neil_n the_o twenty_o second_o day_n of_o september_n instant_a and_o these_o of_o the_o district_n of_o the_o our_o law_n and_o as_o be_v full_o mention_v in_o the_o say_a commission_n and_o proclamation_n declare_v hereby_o that_o the_o person_n guilty_a of_o the_o say_n crime_n be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v to_o be_v comprehend_v within_o our_o late_a act_n of_o indemnity_n as_o to_o restore_v of_o private_a damage_n loss_n and_o injury_n but_o that_o our_o say_n commissioner_n may_v proceed_v against_o and_o punish_v they_o as_o say_v be_v and_o further_o we_o hereby_o empower_v and_o authorize_v our_o say_n commissioner_n in_o their_o district_n respective_a after_o the_o say_v first_o day_n of_o meeting_n to_o appoint_v their_o own_o diet_n and_o place_n of_o meet_v thereafter_o from_o time_n to_o time_n as_o they_o shall_v find_v most_o convenient_a for_o our_o service_n and_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o highland_n and_o therein_o to_o do_v and_o act_n every_o manner_n of_o way_n conform_v to_o the_o say_a commission_n and_o our_o prolcamation_n follow_v thereupon_o
