and_o secure_v the_o quiet_a and_o peace_n of_o the_o say_v highland_n and_o isle_n and_o in_o order_n thereto_o from_o time_n to_o time_n with_o advice_n of_o the_o estate_n of_o parliament_n and_o of_o the_o border_n highland_n and_o isle_n it_o be_v statute_n that_o a_o certain_a time_n shall_v be_v set_v apart_o by_o the_o lord_n of_o privy_a council_n to_o receive_v hear_v and_o answer_v all_o complaint_n concern_v the_o disorder_a and_o troublesome_a subject_n inhabitant_n of_o the_o highland_n and_o attempt_n commit_v by_o they_o upon_o our_o good_a and_o peaceable_a subject_n of_o the_o in-countrey_n and_o that_o a_o particular_a register_n be_v keep_v of_o all_o thing_n that_o shall_v happen_v to_o be_v do_v and_o direct_v in_o matter_n concern_v the_o quietness_n and_o good_a rule_n of_o the_o highland_n in_o manner_n contain_v at_o length_n in_o the_o say_v act._n and_o by_o the_o ninety_o three_o act_n of_o the_o foresay_a parliament_n it_o be_v statute_n that_o all_o landlord_n and_o bailiff_n in_o the_o highland_n where_o break_a man_n have_v dwell_v or_o do_v dwell_v shall_v be_v charge_v to_o find_v sufficient_a caution_n and_o soverty_n land_v man_n in_o the_o in-countrey_n under_o the_o pain_n of_o rebellion_n in_o manner_n aftermentioned_a that_o be_v to_o say_v if_o any_o of_o their_o men-tennent_n servant_n or_o indweller_n upon_o their_o land_n steeding_n room_n and_o possession_n or_o within_o their_o baileries_n shall_v commit_v any_o masterful_a reef_n theft_n or_o resset_n of_o theft_n depredation_n open_a and_o avow_v fire-raisings_a upon_o deed_o feed_v that_o the_o landlord_n and_o bailiff_n upon_o who_o land_n and_o in_o who_o jurisdiction_n they_o dwell_v shall_v bring_v and_o present_v the_o person_n complain_v upon_o to_o justice_n to_o abide_v trial_n and_o under_o the_o law_n for_o the_o same_o and_o that_o the_o say_n landlord_n and_o bailiff_n shall_v satisfy_v the_o party_n skaithe_v and_o grieve_v in_o manner_n therein_o mention_v and_o likewise_o that_o the_o landlord_n and_o bailiff_n concur_v fortify_v and_o assist_v other_o in_o remove_v all_o person_n disobedient_a to_o our_o law_n or_o fugitive_n therefrom_o out_o of_o their_o land_n and_o possession_n and_o in_o case_n any_o refuse_n to_o concur_v to_o the_o effect_n foresay_a that_o it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a to_o pursue_v the_o person_n refuse_v and_o his_o cautioner_n for_o redress_v of_o the_o skaith_v sustain_v by_o the_o party_n hurt_n and_o the_o landlord_n and_o bailiff_n to_o have_v their_o relief_n of_o the_o person_n refuse_v and_o in_o case_n any_o person_n landlord_n or_o bailiff_n receive_v or_o resset_n any_o person_n fugitive_a after_o the_o commit_n of_o the_o crime_n upon_o their_o land_n and_o stay_v and_o arrest_v they_o not_o when_o they_o pass_v through_o their_o bound_n with_o any_o other_o man_n good_n reave_v or_o steal_v that_o they_o shall_v be_v hold_v to_o bring_v and_o present_v the_o
