that_o she_o have_v renounce_v the_o popish_a religion_n and_o be_v become_v a_o protestant_n and_o shall_v procure_v the_o say_a certificate_n to_o be_v enrol_v in_o the_o court_n of_o chancery_n in_o this_o kingdom_n and_o whereas_o several_a popish_a priest_n have_v of_o late_o endeavour_v to_o withdraw_v several_a of_o the_o soldier_n enlist_v in_o his_o majesty_n army_n from_o his_o majesty_n service_n by_o marry_v they_o to_o popish_a wife_n be_v it_o therefore_o further_o enact_v that_o any_o popish_a priest_n or_o protestant_a minister_n or_o other_o person_n whatsoever_o that_o shall_v marry_v any_o soldier_n enlist_v in_o his_o majesty_n army_n in_o this_o kingdom_n to_o any_o wife_n without_o such_o certificate_n as_o aforesaid_a shall_v forfeit_v the_o sum_n of_o twenty_o pound_n for_o every_o such_o offence_n to_o be_v levy_v by_o warrant_n from_o any_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n in_o any_o county_n in_o this_o kingdom_n where_o such_o offence_n shall_v be_v commit_v of_o the_o good_n and_o chattel_n of_o the_o offender_n or_o in_o default_n thereof_o the_o party_n so_o offend_a to_o be_v commit_v to_o the_o county_n goal_n there_o to_o remain_v without_o bail_n of_o mainprize_n until_o he_o shall_v pay_v the_o say_a sum_n one_o moiety_n thereof_o to_o such_o person_n or_o person_n that_o shall_v give_v information_n and_o make_v out_o such_o afterward_o be_v make_v appear_v by_o proof_n that_o such_o person_n be_v a_o know_a protestant_n that_o in_o such_o case_n they_o shall_v not_o be_v liable_a to_o any_o forfeiture_n or_o penalty_n
