ask_v what_o that_o ireland_n be_v who_o answer_v that_o he_o be_v a_o jesuit_n and_o his_o cousin_n and_o mrs._n katherine_n jenison_n his_o sister_n ask_v when_o he_o see_v mr._n ireland_n who_o answer_v a_o little_a before_o he_o come_v out_o of_o town_n at_o his_o lodging_n in_o russelstreet_n which_o be_v on_o the_o day_n that_o himself_o come_v from_o windsor_n and_o the_o same_o day_n that_o mr._n ireland_n come_v post_o out_o of_o staffordshire_n and_o that_o he_o then_o find_v he_o pull_v off_o his_o boot_n mrs._n katherine_n jenison_n ask_v he_o how_o her_o aunt_n in_o staffordshire_n do_v who_o reply_v mr._n ireland_n say_v she_o be_v well_o and_o that_o he_o have_v be_v with_o she_o in_o staffordshire_n at_o that_o time_n this_o informant_a then_o ask_v he_o what_o a_o kind_n of_o man_n mr._n ireland_n be_v who_o answer_v that_o he_o be_v a_o fine_a countenance_v smile_v man_n and_o swear_v if_o he_o be_v guilty_a of_o this_o plot_n i_o will_v never_o trust_v a_o smile_a man_n again_o thereupon_o this_o informant_n ask_v he_o what_o he_o think_v of_o he_o who_o answer_v i_o doubt_v there_o be_v some_o gild_n in_o he_o because_o he_o have_v inquire_v of_o he_o when_o he_o come_v from_o windsor_n how_o the_o king_n divert_v and_o how_o he_o be_v attend_v whereunto_o he_o answer_v in_o hawk_v and_o fish_v attend_v only_o with_o three_o or_o four_o person_n mr._n ireland_n reply_v he_o will_v go_v so_o slender_o guard_v he_o be_v easy_o take_v off_o and_o then_o he_o pause_v but_o sometime_o after_o mr._n jenison_n repeat_v that_o he_o fear_v there_o be_v something_o in_o that_o plot_n for_o that_o mr._n ireland_n have_v say_v to_o he_o at_o another_o time_n that_o there_o be_v but_o one_o in_o the_o way_n and_o be_v he_o remove_v the_o catholic_a religion_n may_v flourish_v again_o in_o england_n whereupon_o this_o informant_n say_v those_o be_v damnable_a suspicious_a thing_n which_o mr._n ireland_n have_v speak_v about_o the_o king_n thereupon_o old_a mr._n jenison_n rise_v up_o and_o swear_v mr._n ireland_n be_v a_o rogue_n and_o so_o leave_v the_o room_n and_o determine_v the_o discourse_n at_o that_o time_n but_o sometime_o after_o in_o this_o same_o month_n this_o informant_n walk_v on_o the_o lead_n with_o mr._n robert_n jenison_n discourse_v of_o the_o jesuit_n be_v in_o the_o plot_n the_o say_a robert_n jenison_n tell_v this_o informant_a that_o mr._n ireland_n have_v at_o another_o time_n tell_v he_o that_o sir_n george_n wakeman_n be_v a_o fit_a person_n to_o poison_n the_o king_n be_v the_o queen_n physician_n and_o a_o papist_n upon_o which_o this_o informant_n say_v he_o hope_v the_o king_n will_v not_o take_v physic_n of_o any_o papist_n in_o regard_n they_o may_v be_v jesuitical_o incline_v and_o the_o jesuit_n be_v against_o monarchy_n in_o temporal_a prince_n though_o appoint_v by_o god_n himself_o upo●_n which_o the_o say_a mr._n robert_n jenison_n ask_v be_v the_o jesuit_n against_o monarchy_n whereto_o this_o informant_n reply_v you_o may_v easy_o judge_n that_o by_o their_o take_n off_o many_o king_n and_o prince_n and_o by_o their_o hold_v it_o lawful_a for_o the_o pope_n to_o deprive_v king_n of_o their_o kingdom_n and_o to_o dispose_v of_o they_o at_o his_o pleasure_n so_o that_o though_o a_o king_n be_v the_o anoint_v of_o the_o lord_n and_o one_o that_o shall_v not_o be_v touch_v with_o violent_a hand_n yet_o not_o only_o his_o kingdom_n but_o his_o sacred_a life_n lie_v at_o the_o pope_n pleasure_n mr._n jenison_n answer_v do_v the_o pope_n allow_v of_o this_o this_o informant_n answer_v yes_o they_o have_v often_o practise_v it_o in_o this_o and_o other_o kingdom_n and_o thereby_o bring_v more_o schism_n and_o division_n into_o the_o church_n than_o ever_o be_v before_o such_o damnable_a thing_n be_v practise_v by_o the_o pope_n and_o his_o emissary_n whereto_o mr._n jenison_n reply_v you_o secular_o be_v general_o publish_v maintain_v or_o declare_v that_o he_o have_v any_o right_n title_n or_o authority_n to_o the_o office_n of_o king_n or_o chief_a magistrate_n of_o the_o kingdom_n and_o dominion_n require_v to_o apprehend_v and_o secure_v the_o say_a james_n duke_n of_o york_n and_o every_o other_o person_n offend_v in_o any_o of_o the_o premise_n and_o with_o he_o or_o they_o in_o case_n of_o resistance_n to_o fight_v and_o he_o or_o they_o by_o force_n to_o subdue_v for_o all_o which_o act_n and_o for_o so_o do_v they_o be_v and_o shall_v be_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n save_v harmless_a and_o indemnify_v provide_v and_o it_o be_v hereby_o declare_v that_o nothing_o in_o this_o act_n contain_v shall_v be_v construe_v deem_v or_o adjudge_v to_o disenable_a any_o other_o person_n from_o inherit_v and_o enjoy_v the_o imperial_a crown_n of_o the_o realm_n and_o dominion_n aforesaid_a other_o than_o the_o say_v james_n duke_n of_o york_n but_o that_o in_o case_n the_o say_v james_n duke_n of_o york_n shall_v survive_v his_o now_o majesty_n and_o the_o heir_n of_o his_o majesty_n body_n the_o say_v imperial_a crown_n shall_v descend_v to_o and_o be_v enjoy_v by_o such_o person_n or_o person_n successive_o during_o the_o life_n of_o the_o say_v james_n duke_n of_o york_n as_o shall_v have_v inherit_v and_o enjoy_v the_o same_o in_o case_n the_o say_v james_n duke_n of_o york_n be_v natural_o dead_a any_o thing_n contain_v in_o this_o act_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o during_o the_o life_n of_o the_o say_v james_n duke_n of_o york_n this_o act_n shall_v be_v give_v in_o charge_n at_o every_o assize_n and_o general_a session_n of_o the_o peace_n within_o the_o
