this_o that_o man_n who_o god_n make_v a_o sociable_a creature_n who_o have_v all_o the_o engagement_n and_o endearment_n lay_v upon_o he_o which_o may_v cause_v he_o to_o live_v in_o peace_n and_o gentleness_n towards_o those_o who_o be_v of_o the_o same_o nature_n with_o he_o yet_o that_o in_o fierceness_n our_o heat_n shall_v exceed_v those_o of_o the_o most_o savage_a creature_n man_n come_v within_o you_o for_o hitherto_o i_o have_v be_v only_o discourse_v of_o civil_a peace_n whether_o it_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o this_o god_n of_o peace_n i_o know_v nothing_o more_o common_a in_o the_o world_n than_o presumption_n there_o be_v a_o false_a peace_n which_o do_v not_o arise_v from_o the_o knowledge_n of_o a_o man_n happiness_n but_o from_o the_o ignorance_n of_o his_o misery_n peace_n which_o be_v only_o like_o a_o torch_n to_o shine_v in_o the_o night_n or_o like_a player_n that_o glitter_v only_o by_o torchlight_n so_o be_v the_o false_a peace_n man_n cherish_v in_o their_o bosom_n mere_o upon_o this_o account_n because_o they_o do_v not_o bring_v their_o soul_n to_o the_o light_n of_o the_o word_n they_o never_o have_v it_o from_o this_o god_n of_o peace_n his_o garment_n be_v defile_v they_o call_v he_o satanarius_n that_o be_v to_o say_v devilish_a thus_o it_o may_v be_v for_o the_o lord_n have_v a_o time_n to_o take_v our_o good_a name_n from_o we_o to_o cause_v our_o light_n of_o honour_n to_o be_v take_v from_o we_o and_o as_o he_o have_v cause_v we_o to_o walk_v in_o the_o white_a of_o honour_n in_o the_o world_n so_o he_o do_v sometime_o cause_v we_o to_o walk_v in_o reproach_n with_o the_o world_n they_o who_o defile_v their_o garment_n lose_v their_o honour_n with_o man_n and_o they_o lose_v their_o joy_n they_o shall_v have_v these_o exhortation_n in_o our_o day_n if_o any_o say_v no_o there_o be_v not_o more_o cause_n for_o then_o the_o magistrate_n be_v a_o mortal_a enemy_n to_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o professor_n for_o say_v he_o the_o great_a increase_n of_o papist_n that_o we_o daily_o hear_v of_o and_o the_o great_a decline_a of_o many_o who_o be_v ready_a to_o receive_v any_o error_n that_o shall_v be_v offer_v to_o they_o these_o thing_n give_v we_o just_a cause_n to_o fear_v the_o danger_n of_o popery_n overspreading_a we_o and_o brethren_n if_o it_o be_v so_o in_o his_o time_n so_o many_o year_n ago_o what_o be_v it_o now_o reas._n ii_o second_o say_v he_o if_o he_o there_o be_v no_o danger_n oâ—_n popery_n yet_o say_v he_o there_o be_v so_o many_o error_n new_o spring_v up_o that_o do_v show_v how_o needful_a this_o exhortation_n be_v reas._n iii_o three_o say_v he_o there_o be_v such_o a_o general_a decay_n of_o the_o love_n of_o religion_n in_o all_o place_n and_o among_o all_o stake_n be_v such_o argument_n brethren_n that_o all_o the_o learning_n and_o part_n in_o the_o world_n can_v answer_v but_o only_o christ_n and_o his_o spirit_n and_o grace_n in_o the_o heart_n therefore_o if_o you_o will_v hold_v fast_o the_o truth_n which_o you_o have_v receive_v and_o hear_v and_o not_o be_v beat_v off_o from_o they_o in_o the_o day_n of_o trial_n get_v into_o christ_n root_v and_o establish_v in_o he_o then_o shall_v you_o stand_v not_o else_o 2._o if_o you_o will_v hold_v fast_o the_o truth_n that_o you_o have_v hear_v and_o receive_v then_o take_v nothing_o upon_o trust_n in_o matter_n of_o religion_n what_o ever_o preacher_n you_o hear_v or_o what_o ever_o book_n you_o read_v take_v not_o thing_n upon_o trust_n but_o examine_v they_o and_o prove_v
conscience_n yet_o other_o have_v have_v a_o great_a freedom_n give_v they_o that_o they_o can_v yield_v and_o if_o not_o so_o what_o will_v have_v become_v of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n therefore_o
