or_o unfit_a for_o your_o private_a company_n and_o familiarity_n here_o therefore_o exercise_v your_o strictness_n in_o your_o own_o part_n as_o it_o be_v not_o you_o but_o the_o king_n that_o must_v judge_v who_o shall_v be_v of_o the_o same_o kingdom_n with_o you_o nor_o the_o servant_n but_o the_o master_n that_o must_v choose_v who_o shall_v be_v in_o the_o family_n with_o he_o nor_o the_o scholar_n but_o the_o schoolmaster_n that_o must_v choose_v who_o shall_v be_v of_o the_o same_o school_n with_o he_o so_o it_o be_v not_o you_o but_o your_o pastor_n that_o must_v judge_v who_o shall_v be_v of_o the_o same_o church_n with_o you_o as_o to_o the_o universal_a visible_a church_n this_o be_v confess_v by_o all_o and_o there_o be_v no_o reason_n why_o it_o shall_v be_v deny_v of_o particular_a church_n as_o be_v prove_v but_o who_o shall_v be_v your_o pastor_n or_o your_o master_n your_o husband_n or_o your_o wife_n if_o you_o be_v yet_o free_a you_o yourselves_o must_v be_v the_o chooser_n and_o who_o shall_v be_v your_o intimate_a companion_n or_o your_o bosom_n friend_n here_o therefore_o make_v as_o strict_a a_o choice_n as_o you_o can_v if_o you_o meet_v a_o profane_a person_n at_o the_o lord_n table_n it_o be_v his_o own_o fault_n or_o the_o pastor_n but_o if_o you_o keep_v company_n needless_o with_o such_o or_o marry_v such_o it_o be_v your_o own_o fault_n if_o the_o pastor_n do_v not_o excommunicate_v they_o you_o may_v choose_v not_o to_o be_v familiar_a with_o they_o though_o you_o must_v meet_v they_o at_o the_o church_n and_o pray_v with_o they_o you_o need_v not_o meet_v they_o at_o the_o alehouse_n and_o drink_n with_o they_o though_o you_o may_v not_o with_o a_o few_o of_o the_o most_o godly_a separate_v from_o the_o public_a communion_n of_o all_o the_o rest_n yet_o may_v you_o keep_v a_o more_o intimate_a familiarity_n with_o those_o few_o than_o with_o all_o the_o rest_n and_o if_o you_o will_v consider_v this_o be_v all_o that_o be_v necessary_a to_o your_o own_o duty_n and_o that_o which_o be_v best_a for_o your_o own_o edification_n keep_v thus_o to_o a_o strictness_n within_o the_o bound_n of_o your_o own_o place_n and_o calling_n and_o god_n will_v bless_v you_o in_o such_o a_o strictness_n direct_v xv._n understand_v well_o how_o much_o it_o have_v please_v god_n to_o lay_v all_o man_n good_a or_o evil_n happiness_n or_o misery_n upon_o their_o own_o choice_n and_o observe_v the_o reason_n of_o it_o that_o you_o may_v not_o oppose_v this_o order_n of_o god_n though_o god_n by_o his_o grace_n must_v change_v the_o perverse_a disposition_n of_o man_n will_n before_o they_o will_v make_v a_o gracious_a choice_n yet_o it_o be_v most_o certain_a that_o the_o teach_n command_n exhortation_n and_o reproof_n of_o god_n be_v direct_v to_o the_o will_n of_o man_n and_o that_o the_o promise_n and_o threaten_n mercy_n and_o judgement_n be_v use_v to_o move_v and_o change_v the_o will_n and_o that_o in_o the_o tenor_n of_o his_o law_n and_o covenant_n christ_n have_v set_v life_n and_o death_n before_o man_n and_o put_v their_o happiness_n in_o their_o own_o choice_n and_o that_o no_o man_n shall_v have_v better_o or_o worse_o than_o he_o make_v choice_n of_o that_o be_v none_o shall_v be_v either_o happy_a or_o miserable_a but_o as_o they_o do_v choose_v or_o refuse_v
