procure_v more_o as_o well_o as_o other_o religious_a act_n yet_o there_o be_v this_o difference_n that_o other_o act_n be_v not_o only_a mean_n to_o blessing_n but_o may_v be_v use_v as_o such_o to_o that_o end_n without_o destroy_v the_o nature_n of_o the_o act_n themselves_o but_o now_o gratitude_n towards_o god_n though_o it_o be_v real_o in_o itself_o as_o much_o a_o mean_n in_o order_n to_o conversant_a about_o the_o goodness_n and_o beneficialness_n of_o the_o divine_a nature_n which_o be_v also_o suppose_a to_o be_v actual_o exercise_v upon_o we_o yet_o it_o do_v not_o respect_v it_o in_o order_n to_o our_o interest_n but_o as_o it_o be_v a_o moral_a perfection_n of_o the_o same_o divine_a nature_n and_o so_o be_v rather_o a_o humble_a acknowledgement_n of_o something_o for_o the_o most_o heroical_a resignation_n under_o the_o most_o accumulate_v affliction_n not_o to_o argue_v from_o the_o example_n of_o our_o bless_a lord_n who_o support_v his_o labour_a courage_n by_o this_o single_a consideration_n under_o the_o weight_n of_o his_o unparalleled_a agony_n will_v clear_o appear_v if_o we_o consider_v some_o of_o the_o excellent_a attribute_n and_o perfection_n of_o god_n those_o which_o more_o eminent_o conduce_v to_o this_o purpose_n and_o wherewith_o i_o shall_v at_o present_a content_n myself_o be_v his_o supreme_a dominion_n his_o selfsufficiency_n his_o infinite_a wisdom_n goodness_n and_o his_o paternal_a relation_n to_o we_o first_o then_o we_o may_v consider_v that_o he_o from_o who_o hand_n we_o receive_v our_o bitter_a cup_n have_v a_o
