want_n of_o room_n in_o the_o prison_n house_n prisoner_n be_v lodge_v and_o where_o your_o petitioner_n find_v that_o nothing_o be_v of_o force_n to_o keep_v the_o prisoner_n there_o lodge_v within_o their_o bound_n but_o the_o security_n which_o they_o usual_o give_v to_o the_o marshal_n of_o the_o say_a prison_n which_o security_n be_v refuse_v to_o be_v deliver_v to_o your_o petitioner_n your_o honour_n petitioner_n thereupon_o declare_v to_o the_o parliament_n that_o he_o have_v no_o more_o power_n over_o the_o prisoner_n lie_v in_o the_o rule_n than_o he_o have_v of_o the_o bird_n in_o the_o air_n and_o therefore_o beseech_v the_o parliament_n that_o he_o may_v not_o stand_v charge_v with_o that_o trust_n which_o your_o petitioner_n never_o seek_v and_o be_v impose_v upon_o he_o be_v not_o able_a to_o give_v a_o account_n of_o that_o the_o parliament_n thereupon_o be_v monday_n the_o first_o of_o august_n order_v that_o the_o prisoner_n of_o the_o upper_a bench_n shall_v continue_v in_o the_o same_o place_n as_o former_o till_o further_a order_n by_o which_o order_n your_o petitioner_n suppose_v himself_o indempnify_v nevertheless_o since_o the_o dissolution_n of_o the_o late_a parliament_n your_o petitioner_n have_v be_v sue_v from_o all_o point_n of_o the_o compass_n for_o the_o escape_n of_o prisoner_n lie_v in_o the_o rule_n though_o your_o honour_n petitioner_n be_v not_o able_a to_o secure_v they_o for_o the_o reason_n aforesaid_a neither_o can_v your_o petitioner_n receive_v so_o much_o as_o a_o list_n of_o the_o say_a prisoner_n name_n till_o about_o a_o month_n after_o your_o petitioner_n have_v be_v there_o that_o your_o petitioner_n for_o the_o better_a look_v to_o the_o prisoner_n in_o the_o prison_n house_n do_v as_o empower_v by_o the_o parliament_n make_v choice_n of_o several_a servant_n to_o the_o number_n of_o twenty_o be_v few_o than_o the_o marshal_n usual_o employ_v who_o continual_o attend_v often_o watch_v whole_a night_n and_o with_o much_o faithfulness_n and_o diligence_n discharge_v the_o say_a trust_n for_o about_o the_o space_n of_o eight_o month_n during_o which_o time_n these_o poor_a man_n receive_v not_o one_o penny_n of_o salary_n because_o your_o petitioner_n receive_v not_o the_o benefit_n of_o chamber_n rent_n the_o chief_a profit_n of_o the_o place_n which_o the_o prisoner_n refuse_v to_o pay_v till_o further_a order_n of_o the_o house_n nor_o any_o other_o way_n so_o much_o as_o your_o petitioner_n expend_v in_o that_o service_n although_o according_a to_o the_o know_a maxim_n qui_fw-la sentit_fw-la onus_fw-la sentire_fw-la debet_fw-la commodum_fw-la wherefore_o your_o honour_n petitioner_n with_o all_o humble_a earnestness_n pray_v that_o your_o honour_n will_v be_v please_v to_o put_v on_o bowel_n of_o speedy_a compassion_n for_o the_o relief_n of_o your_o petitioner_n poor_a servant_n who_o maintain_v themselves_o at_o their_o own_o charge_n for_o so_o long_a time_n together_o in_o the_o service_n of_o the_o parliament_n have_v thereby_o reduce_v themselves_o and_o family_n to_o so_o great_a need_n and_o misery_n as_o your_o petitioner_n want_v word_n to_o express_v the_o sadness_n of_o their_o condition_n last_o in_o as_o much_o as_o your_o honour_n petitioner_n never_o seek_v the_o say_a place_n and_o yet_o have_v undergo_v great_a charge_n and_o trouble_v in_o obey_v the_o parliament_n your_o petitioner_n most_o humble_o pray_v that_o according_a to_o your_o honour_n justice_n he_o may_v be_v relieve_v from_o all_o further_a trouble_n arrest_n and_o suit_n at_o law_n for_o the_o escape_n of_o prisoner_n which_o as_o your_o petitioner_n have_v humble_o declare_v be_v impossible_a for_o he_o to_o secure_v and_o to_o this_o end_n
