present_a beside_o the_o apostle_n and_o elder_n and_o the_o letter_n that_o be_v send_v be_v as_o much_o write_v in_o their_o name_n as_o of_o any_o of_o the_o elder_n now_o the_o brethren_n or_o bare_a apostle_n to_o order_v thing_n in_o the_o church_n paul_n and_o barnabas_n be_v man_n very_o unfit_a to_o be_v apostle_n if_o they_o can_v not_o have_v determine_v such_o a_o question_n whether_o it_o be_v necessary_a for_o the_o gentile_n to_o be_v circumcise_v who_o be_v to_o plant_v and_o order_n thing_n in_o all_o the_o church_n and_o who_o have_v power_n over_o all_o church_n and_o be_v to_o write_v the_o man_n i_o of_o god_n to_o they_o sure_o one_o apostle_n have_v more_o knowledge_n of_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n and_o of_o matter_n of_o controversy_n in_o the_o church_n than_o all_o the_o synod_n in_o the_o world_n beside_o nay_o all_o be_v to_o follow_v what_o they_o loft_n to_o the_o church_n it_o be_v great_o to_o diminist_n the_o apostle_n power_n and_o the_o highness_n of_o that_o office_n to_o think_v than_o they_o can_v not_o determine_v such_o a_o question_n but_o must_v go_v to_o a_o synod_n to_o have_v it_o clear_v up_o to_o they_o beside_o it_o be_v a_o apostle_n when_o they_o come_v up_o to_o jerusalem_n viz._n peter_n who_o decide_v the_o controversy_n and_o paul_n and_o barnabas_n be_v man_n of_o as_o great_a judgement_n and_o have_v as_o much_o power_n as_o he_o however_o we_o think_v not_o that_o to_o be_v a_o synod_n yet_o the_o convening_n of_o assembly_n and_o synod_n for_o advice_n and_o counsel_n we_o deny_v not_o but_o that_o any_o synod_n or_o council_n have_v a_o authoritative_a jurisdiction_n to_o impose_v law_n and_o canon_n for_o all_o church_n to_o walk_v by_o we_o conceive_v can_v be_v prove_v neither_o from_o this_o of_o act_n 15._o or_o any_o other_o text_n yea_o even_o this_o assembly_n now_o among_o we_o the_o parliament_n have_v call_v only_o for_o advice_n not_o intend_v to_o give_v they_o a_o power_n
