unless_o we_o shall_v affirm_v they_o both_o of_o one_o and_o the_o same_o power_n in_o the_o same_o respect_n which_o since_o we_o do_v not_o that_o opposition_n hinder_v not_o but_o that_o the_o in_o his_o public_a and_o politic_a capacity_n and_o as_o a_o bishop_n in_o the_o church_n of_o england_n he_o stand_v in_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o law_n as_o a_o corporation_n the_o king_n not_o only_o allow_v he_o act_v in_o that_o capacity_n to_o write_v of_o himself_o in_o the_o plural_a number_n but_o in_o all_o writ_n direct_v to_o he_o as_o bishop_n as_o in_o presentation_n and_o the_o like_a bespeak_v he_o in_o the_o plural_a number_n vestrae_fw-la diocesis_n vobis_fw-la praesentamus_fw-la etc._n etc._n the_o bishop_n then_o be_v a_o corporation_n and_o that_o by_o the_o king_n authority_n as_o all_o other_o corporation_n whether_o simple_a or_o aggregate_v whether_o by_o charter_n or_o prescription_n be_v it_o be_v meet_v he_o shall_v hold_v his_o court_n and_o proceed_v therein_o in_o the_o same_o manner_n and_o form_n where_o there_o be_v no_o apparent_a reason_n to_o the_o contrary_a as_o other_o corporation_n do_v and_o therefore_o as_o it_o will_v be_v a_o high_a presumption_n for_o the_o chancellor_n and_o scholar_n of_o one_o of_o the_o university_n be_v a_o corporation_n to_o who_o the_o king_n by_o his_o charter_n have_v grant_v a_o court_n or_o for_o no_o less_o intolerable_a for_o the_o bishop_n to_o use_v the_o king_n name_n in_o their_o process_n and_o judicial_a act_n not_o have_v any_o sufficient_a legal_a warrant_n or_o authority_n for_o authority_n for_o who_o can_v imagine_v that_o they_o who_o hold_v a_o court_n by_o virtue_n of_o the_o king_n grant_v only_o shall_v pretend_v to_o act_v by_o any_o other_o than_o his_o authority_n but_o only_a that_o they_o be_v no_o immediate_a representative_n of_o the_o king_n person_n in_o such_o their_o jurisdiction_n nor_o have_v consequent_o any_o allowance_n from_o he_o to_o use_v his_o common_a or_o civil_a law_n in_o the_o say_a respect_n arise_v as_o have_v be_v already_o in_o part_n touch_v from_o the_o different_a nature_n of_o their_o several_a respective_a jurisdiction_n which_o be_v that_o the_o summons_n and_o other_o proceed_n and_o act_n in_o the_o ecclesiastical_a court_n be_v for_o the_o most_o part_n in_o order_n to_o the_o ecclesiastical_a censure_n and_o sentence_n of_o excommunication_n etc._n etc._n the_o pass_v of_o which_o sentence_n and_o other_o of_o like_a kind_n be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o power_n of_o the_o key_n which_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n think_v fit_a to_o leave_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o his_o apostle_n and_o their_o successor_n and_o not_o in_o the_o hand_n of_o layman_n the_o king_n of_o england_n never_o challenge_v to_o belong_v unto_o themselves_o but_o leave_v the_o exercise_n of_o that_o power_n entire_o to_o the_o bishop_n as_o the_o lawful_a successor_n of_o the_o apostle_n and_o inheritor_n of_o their_o power_n the_o regulate_v and_o order_v of_o that_o power_n in_o sundry_a circumstance_n concern_v the_o outward_a exercise_n thereof_o in_o foro_fw-la externo_fw-la the_o godly_a king_n of_o england_n have_v think_v to_o belong_v unto_o they_o as_o in_o the_o right_n of_o their_o crown_n and_o have_v according_o make_v law_n concern_v the_o same_o even_o as_o they_o have_v do_v also_o concern_v other_o because_o it_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o form_n use_v in_o the_o common-law-court_n within_o this_o realm_n which_o be_v one_o of_o the_o reason_n in_o the_o say_a statute_n express_v it_o may_v very_o well_o upon_o further_a consideration_n be_v afterward_o think_v more_o convenient_a for_o the_o like_a reason_n to_o retain_v the_o accustom_a style_n because_o otherwise_o the_o form_n of_o the_o ecclesiastical_a court_n will_v be_v contrary_a to_o the_o form_n of_o other_o civil-law-court_n within_o the_o realm_n as_o the_o admiralty_n and_o earle-marshal_n court_n and_o of_o other_o court_n of_o the_o king_n grant_v make_v unto_o corporation_n with_o either_o of_o which_o the_o ecclesiastical_a court_n have_v a_o near_a affinity_n then_o with_o the_o king_n court_n of_o record_n or_o other_o his_o own_o immediate_a court_n of_o common_a law_n nor_o do_v there_o yet_o appear_v any_o valuable_a reason_n of_o difference_n why_o inconformity_n to_o the_o common_a law-court_n shall_v be_v think_v a_o sufficient_a ground_n for_o the_o alter_n of_o the_o form_n use_v in_o the_o ecclesiastical_a court_n and_o yet_o the_o like_a form_n use_v in_o the_o admiralty_n in_o the_o
