militia_n or_o any_o other_o of_o his_o majesty_n be_v forces_n with_o such_o troop_n or_o company_n of_o horse_n and_o foot_n and_o also_o the_o sheriff_n justice_n of_o peace_n and_o other_o magistrate_n and_o minister_n of_o justice_n or_o any_o of_o they_o joint_o or_o several_o within_o any_o of_o the_o county_n or_o place_n within_o this_o kingdom_n of_o england_n dominion_n of_o wales_n etc._n etc._n shall_v repair_v unto_o the_o place_n where_o such_o conventicle_n be_v hold_v and_o by_o the_o best_a mean_n they_o can_v shall_v dissolve_v and_o dissipate_v or_o prevent_v all_o such_o unlawful_a meeting_n and_o take_v into_o their_o custody_n such_o of_o those_o person_n so_o unlawful_o assemble_v as_o they_o shall_v judge_v to_o be_v the_o leader_n and_o seducer_n of_o the_o rest_n and_o such_o other_o as_o they_o shall_v think_v fit_a to_o be_v proceed_v against_o according_a to_o law_n for_o such_o offence_n every_o person_n who_o shall_v willing_o suffer_v any_o such_o conventicle_n to_o be_v hold_v in_o his_o or_o her_o house_n outhouse_n barn_n yard_n etc._n etc._n shall_v incur_v the_o same_o penalty_n and_o forfeiture_n as_o any_o other_o offender_n against_o this_o act_n ought_v to_o be_v proceed_v against_o in_o the_o seventeen_o year_n of_o his_o majesty_n be_v reign_n a_o act_n be_v pass_v for_o restrain_v nonconformist_n from_o inhabit_v in_o corporation_n herein_o it_o be_v enact_v that_o all_o parson_n vicar_n curate_n lecturer_n and_o other_o person_n in_o holy_a order_n or_o pretend_v holy_a order_n etc._n etc._n who_o have_v not_o declare_v their_o unfeigned_a assent_n and_o consent_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o subscribe_v the_o declaration_n aforesaid_a and_o shall_v not_o take_v and_o subscribe_v the_o oath_n follow_v i_o a._n b._n do_v swear_v that_o it_o be_v not_o lawful_a upon_o any_o pretence_n whatsoever_o to_o take_v arm_n against_o the_o king_n and_o that_o i_o do_v abhor_v that_o traitorous_a position_n of_o take_v arm_n by_o his_o authority_n against_o his_o person_n or_o against_o those_o that_o be_v commissioned_n by_o he_o in_o pursuance_n of_o such_o commission_n and_o that_o i_o will_v not_o endeavour_v at_o any_o time_n any_o alteration_n of_o government_n either_o in_o church_n or_o state_n and_o all_o such_o person_n as_o shall_v take_v upon_o they_o to_o preach_v in_o any_o unlawful_a assembly_n conventicle_n or_o meet_v under_o colour_n or_o pretence_n of_o any_o exercise_n of_o religion_n contrary_a to_o the_o the_o law_n and_o statute_n of_o this_o kingdom_n shall_v not_o at_o any_o time_n from_o and_o after_o the_o 24_o of_o march_n 1665._o unless_o only_o in_o pass_v upon_o the_o road_n come_v or_o be_v within_o five_o mile_n of_o any_o city_n or_o town_n corporate_a or_o borough_n place_n or_o town_n in_o open_a court_n which_o say_v oath_n the_o say_a justice_n be_v thereby_o empower_v there_o to_o administer_v upon_o forfeiture_n for_o every_o such_o offence_n the_o sum_n of_o forty_o pound_n of_o lawful_a english_a money_n the_o one_o three_o part_n to_o his_o majesty_n and_o his_o successor_n the_o other_o three_o part_n to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o poor_a of_o the_o parish_n where_o the_o offence_n shall_v be_v commit_v and_o the_o other_o three_o part_n thereof_o to_o such_o person_n or_o person_n as_o shall_v or_o will_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o by_o action_n of_o debt_n plaint_n bill_n or_o information_n in_o any_o court_n of_o record_n at_o westminster_n or_o before_o any_o justice_n of_o assize_n oyer_n and_o terminer_n or_o gaol-delivery_n etc._n etc._n provide_v also_o that_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v lawful_a for_o any_o person_n
