before_o take_v care_v not_o to_o affright_v the_o patient_n especial_o if_o he_o be_v natural_o timorous_a but_o rather_o increase_v and_o support_v his_o contrition_n by_o lay_v before_o he_o god_n mercy_n and_o goodness_n in_o the_o order_n both_o of_o nature_n and_o grace_n show_v he_o what_o great_a love_n he_o have_v for_o he_o in_o not_o spare_v his_o only_a beget_v son_n but_o deliver_v distinct_o hear_v they_o and_o if_o he_o can_v repeat_v they_o after_o he_o in_o order_n to_o their_o make_v the_o great_a impression_n upon_o his_o mind_n thus_o far_o of_o the_o mean_n for_o raise_v his_o hope_n now_o for_o the_o exciting_a his_o confidence_n and_o assurance_n of_o obtain_v the_o happiness_n he_o be_v labour_v after_o the_o minister_n may_v use_v these_o three_o several_a way_n first_o by_o move_v he_o to_o the_o exercise_n and_o performance_n of_o those_o good_a work_n and_o virtue_n his_o condition_n shall_v leave_v he_o capable_a of_o such_o as_o alm_n and_o pious_a legacy_n wherein_o he_o must_v yet_o be_v very_o cautious_a how_o he_o prompt_v his_o zeal_n so_o far_o as_o to_o give_v any_o just_a occasion_n of_o murmur_n or_o dissatisfaction_n to_o his_o friend_n and_o relation_n but_o let_v he_o not_o spare_v exercise_v he_o in_o all_o the_o inward_a act_n of_o faith_n hope_n charity_n and_o contrition_n which_o no_o doubt_v will_v give_v he_o great_a confidence_n especial_o if_o he_o be_v fervent_a and_o continue_v in_o the_o practice_n thereof_o second_o by_o consideration_n that_o be_v fix_v his_o thought_n upon_o those_o thing_n he_o shall_v say_v to_o he_o in_o order_n to_o his_o obtain_v this_o confidence_n and_o here_o he_o may_v entertain_v he_o after_o this_o manner_n though_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n infinite_o exceed_v your_o poor_a merit_n yet_o fear_v you_o not_o god_n in_o his_o mercy_n will_v supply_v your_o defect_n and_o support_v your_o weakness_n and_o comfort_v your_o heart_n be_v full_o persuade_v that_o he_o to_o who_o grace_n and_o glory_n belong_v will_v bestow_v they_o on_o you_o inasmuch_o as_o he_o be_v infinite_o good_a and_o be_v please_v to_o make_v you_o and_o all_o sincere_a believer_n happy_a you_o be_v his_o son_n and_o he_o your_o father_n and_o a_o father_n full_a of_o love_n and_o tenderness_n who_o be_v far_o more_o desirous_a to_o receive_v you_o into_o heaven_n than_o yourself_o can_v be_v to_o obtain_v it_o why_o shall_v you_o therefore_o at_o all_o doubt_n of_o your_o be_v now_o go_v to_o possess_v eternal_a joy_n and_o felicity_n for_o that_o alone_o it_o be_v he_o create_v you_o nor_o come_v jesus_n christ_n to_o die_v upon_o the_o cross_n for_o any_o other_o end_n than_o to_o open_v to_o we_o the_o gate_n of_o heaven_n which_o the_o disobedience_n of_o our_o first_o parent_n have_v shut_v upon_o we_o he_o have_v also_o wash_v in_o his_o precious_a blood_n the_o sin_v you_o have_v commit_v he_o have_v give_v you_o his_o sacrament_n and_o prevent_a grace_n that_o have_v wrought_v contrition_n in_o your_o heart_n so_o as_o to_o make_v you_o heir_n of_o his_o kingdom_n consider_v that_o he_o who_o so_o often_o seek_v for_o you_o during_o the_o whole_a course_n of_o your_o life_n even_o whilst_o you_o despise_a and_o high_o provoke_v he_o will_v show_v so_o much_o the_o more_o mercy_n and_o favour_n to_o you_o now_o that_o you_o humble_o prostrate_v yourself_o before_o he_o with_o a_o true_o break_v and_o contrite_a heart_n again_o the_o minister_n may_v comfort_v the_o sick_a person_n and_o more_o and_o more_o establish_v his_o trust_n and_o confidence_n in_o god_n mercy_n by_o continue_v to_o speak_v to_o he_o in_o this_o sort_n dear_a brother_n look-up_a cheerful_o towards_o jesus_n christ_n and_o never_o grow_v weary_a of_o think_v of_o what_o he_o do_v and_o suffer_v for_o your_o sake_n for_o the_o space_n of_o three_o and_o thirty_o year_n he_o live_v here_o upon_o earth_n who_o though_o very_a god_n and_o king_n of_o glory_n be_v willing_a to_o subject_v himself_o to_o pain_n and_o contempt_n and_o at_o last_o to_o a_o shameful_a death_n upon_o the_o cross_n for_o your_o salvation_n be_v you_o persuade_v that_o so_o many_o suffering_n will_v not_o be_v lose_v but_o will_v certain_o procure_v you_o everlasting_a rest_n and_o glory_n this_o all-merciful_a god_n who_o for_o your_o sake_n be_v please_v to_o take_v human_a flesh_n upon_o he_o and_o have_v leave_v a_o sensible_a memomorial_n of_o that_o his_o infinite_a love_n to_o you_o in_o the_o bless_a eucharist_n in_o a_o word_n who_o have_v adopt_v you_o to_o be_v partaker_n of_o his_o kingdom_n how_o can_v he_o now_o deny_v or_o reject_v you_o see_v you_o so_o well_o dispose_v to_o receive_v the_o impression_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n and_o so_o patient_o submit_v to_o all_o the_o affliction_n wherewith_o he_o think_v fit_a to_o try_v your_o fidelity_n consider_v that_o he_o be_v your_o advocate_n and_o intercessor_n with_o the_o father_n and_o be_v prevail_v with_o he_o at_o this_o very_a time_n i_o be_o speak_v to_o you_o for_o the_o pardon_n of_o your_o sin_n apply_v yourself_o to_o he_o and_o say_v o_o holy_a jesus_n my_o redeemer_n accept_v i_o beseech_v thou_o my_o love_n and_o my_o repentance_n wash_v all_o my_o sin_n in_o thy_o most_o precious_a blood_n cover_v my_o unrighteousness_n and_o imperfection_n with_o crown_n of_o thorn_n that_o be_v set_v on_o his_o head_n out_o of_o derision_n and_o contempt_n of_o the_o scourge_v that_o cruel_o tear_v his_o flesh_n as_o if_o he_o have_v be_v a_o slave_n of_o have_v show_v in_o die_v for_o we_o whereupon_o he_o shall_v cry-out_a with_o david_n what_o reward_n shall_v i_o give_v to_o the_o lord_n for_o all_o the_o benefit_n that_o he_o have_v do_v unto_o to_o timothy_n and_o the_o two_o last_o chapter_n of_o the_o revelation_n of_o st._n john_n choose_v the_o place_n in_o those_o chapter_n that_o be_v proper_a for_o a_o die_a person_n and_o pass_v over_o the_o rest_n some_o psalm_n may_v be_v also_o recite_v to_o he_o suitable_a to_o the_o occasion_n in_o a_o word_n let_v not_o the_o minister_n abandon_v he_o one_o minute_n whilst_o he_o
